Teams will be finalized today. If you have a last minute request, I will try to honor that request, but I need to cut it off at some point.

Let's go ahead and say you can still make last minute requests (to be with a friend, to change team chattiness) until 3pm EST. That's just under 5 hours from now. After that we will need to stick with what we have going on.

What tends to happen is all the teams get their own thread and we're told which thread to go to by PM

Sometimes (when we've been well behaved) the mods will post a link to the organising spreadsheet so we can find out that way as well.

Sorry, got on a rant. TL:DR ~ Neighbors right outside with music suck!!

(view spoiler)[We live in a tiny duplex and our landlords, while good to us, really haven't put thought/care into the place. We have 2 bedrooms but one is unusable. It shares a "wall" with the other half of the house but it's not a real wall. No insulation, no real wood. It's like a paneling and it's VERY loud in there, even just for them walking around and talking normally. So that's sucky thing one.

Sucky thing two is we have a HUGE back yard. I don't know how big, probably half an acre, maybe more, and it's surrounded by trees. So do they do stuff out there? Nope! They have a grill, out front which is 10 feet, or less, away from my open window. We're in backwater NC and these people don't know about central A/C so the windows have to be open during summer and it's still hotter than crap in here. Then they are right outside my window with grilling and music and even kids playing (though not as much now that they put a trampoline in the back). We're on the main road too, maybe 30 feet back from it.

I don't like it in this place, at all. But we're stuck. It was pouring for about an hour and nice and quiet but they are starting to move around outside again. If they put that music back on, I'm blaring mine again and putting in my earplugs. :D (hide spoiler)]

We used to live in a duplex, a triplex actually.

Oh yuk! We wouldn't like people above us. *Making up* we could deal with, but not clompy feet!! It's bad enough when they do it next door, they shake the whole freaking place. And these are SMALL people. I'm a tad taller than average (5'9) and I haven't been close enough to measure them or anything but there's 2 kids and the dad looks to be about 5'5, wife maybe a little taller, and they are both skinny. Sometimes it feels like there are elephants over there the way they shake the place.

It varies. It all is on book count. So there could be small teams with big readers or big teams with smaller readers. Average is around 14-15 people.

We don't have an end date. Things may vary as we go along, like if it gets too overwhelming we may put a day or two buffer between events. But at the very least it'll last a full 18 WEEKS, so sometime in October.

LOL, glad y'all are excited about the team sizes. We had to go by experienced captains, of which we have 24. We have 2-3 others that could have done it if need be, but we decided to cut it off with what we have.

330 people in 24 groups. 24 Captains, 48 co-captains and 258 members. That is, if everyone shows up, and they don't always, so hopefully some of the people already signed up for the reserve will get a chance to play.
