Are you talking about the Fort Hood soldiers dying? That is so sad.
I'm in Killeen but we haven't got flooding around our house. Some of the roads flooded the other day but it's all down now. I think it's worse away from my house.

I'm in Baton Rouge now, but I'm originally from TX. My husband worked for a tv station there -- forever ago -- and we lived in both Harker Heights & Copperas Cove. Not technically Killeen, ha, but pretty close.
Glad to hear you haven't had any flooding.

NOPE

I opened them all except the one with "spider" in the name. That's not to say that I didn't close a few of them right quick!

Those of you in Florida stay safe (I live in south central Florida).
Tropical Depression Three has formed in the Gulf of Mexico and will bring the threat of heavy rain to parts of Florida and the Southeast Monday and Tuesday.
Here's the latest from the National Hurricane Center:
Tropical Depression Three is located about 170 miles north-northwest of Cozumel, Mexico or about 505 miles southwest of Tampa, Florida and is moving to the north at 9 mph.
This system is expected to strengthen into Tropical Storm Colin Sunday night or early Monday.
Tropical storm warnings have been issued for portions of the Gulf Coast of Florida from Indian Pass to Englewood.
Heavy rain will be the main threat with 3 to 5 inches likely across the northeastern Yucatan Peninsula, western Cuba and portions of Florida, with locally up to 8 inches possible.
Tropical storm force winds, high surf and coastal flooding are also possible. A storm surge of 1 to 3 feet is possible from Indian Pass to Tampa Bay and from 1 to 2 feet from Tampa Baby to Florida Bay.

I hope all of you non-fictional people in Florida stay safe :)

I hate when I do that!
Turn around, don't drown Florida! Good luck!
Currently in Central Florida. Glad I don't have work tomorrow, but I do Tuesday night. Also glad I got plenty of podcasts to listen to. I'm trying to hold off on reading a lot until Wobble starts. Though I do intend to listen to Jurassic park, which is on sale at audible. I've never seen the movie, and its out on netflix now.
Hope everyone stays safe.

I'm shocked every single time I go back to TX. Took my daughter through B/CS (where I mostly grew up) a few years back, and I spent the whole time with my mouth hanging open like some kind of fish. Lol.
I haven't been to the Killeen area in about 15 years, so I bet it's changed dramatically. My parents are in Waco now, some family in Dallas & a sister in Houston. So I usually stick to those -- with some side trips to Austin & San Antonio.
Every few years my moms family usually does a big family reunion thing in Waxahachie I try to attend when I can, but that's still in the Waco/Dallas area.

go to "add book/author" and search your book, at the bottom of the screen that pops up there are two options, Link and Cover. Choose cover and then click add your book for the cover to come up on your post. Hope that helps.

We're in NC now, but I spent most of my life in Polk County. Moved to Auburndale then Polk "City" when I was in my teens. Lived there the rest of my childhood. Then bounced around the area. Lived in Tampa briefly, Lake County twice, back to Polk and then was in Kissimmee until we moved up here.
My one house in Polk was 30 miles north of where all the hurricanes of 2004 hit. Had extensive damage, needed new roof and ceiling in one room.
Ahhhh, don't miss FL at all, except the parks. I'll always miss the parks.
Yeah it's on Wednesday and I'm so pumped!:)

I believe they said they'd post links to the teams here because notifying us one by one would take approximately forever, haha. Maybe they'll link us to a spreadsheet with our names and team names on it?

There will be a spreadsheet. It'll be posted here sometime on Wednesday, and at All About Wobble.
You'll be able to search your name by using "ctrl+f" and if you have a common name, it'd be best if you search by the ID you gave us, which consists of numbers before your name. My GR ID is 1944098-karsyn, so I'd search 1944098-karsyn, or 1944098. If you gave us the other id, the one you picked (like mine is https://www.goodreads.com/Imzadi) then you will NOT find that name. It HAS to be the numbers, not your chosen url.
The spreadsheet will be listed by team, so all you will have to do is click on the team name and you'll be taken to your team.
***** Threads WILL BE LOCKED ***** until your captain tells a mod to open it up for them to reserve top spots. This is for the captains ease, as well as yours as you can always look to those few spots for updates. IF someone slips in and posts before captains, those posts will be deleted, so please wait to post until your captain has claimed a few spots and they say that it's ok to post.
Be patient with us as posting teams take time. You may see threads start popping up prior to Wed, but NO INFO will be given out until Wed. This is just so the spreadsheet can be linked.

We are looking for a "Breana" who gave "Wilsobrea" as their user name. We don't have a "Breana" in the group and "Wilsobrea" doesn't pull up anything either.
If you are this member, please post here, or contact me prior to Wed. If we don't find you, we'll have to put you on the reserve list until we figure out who you are. If anyone knows who this may be, could you please let them know we are looking for them?
Thanks!!

I used my internet ninja skills to no avail. :/
I honestly am begin excited! Can't await for the great reveal Tommorow :) I feel like the chatty teams will become my best friends by the end <3 which is the best part of any challenge-the interaction.

Doing the same thug. I keep on refreshing to check the awesome animals! ;)
Mellow Mammoths are my favorite name so far so I completely agree!!
