Smashwords added it when I put up a preorder. The preorder has been deleted, so the Smashwords edition does not exist.

Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have. So a different cover makes a different edition, even if all other elements are identical.

#234 - A couple things.1) Was not a duplicate, 1 edition was 2014 and one 1999
2) Probably could not delete because you were truely trying to delete not merge with a combined edition.
I combined the editions, and moved the ISBN10 to the edition with ISBN13, since it was on the site and associated first, and marked the other edition as an ACE.
#225 - Done. Actually it needed merged with the 2nd most popular edition. The most popular edition had a different cover.

#244 - Actually removed ASIN and marked as an ACE, since when I clicked it came back with a different cover. Then when combining, saw a different edition with the same cover and no ASIN so merged those, and then recombined everything.
New to this so I may be in the wrong place; the book 'Son of Rome' by Matt Kinnaird is showing the wrong edition (ASIN: B01E6C44LS); now unpublished:https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

For #228 and #238, Japanese manga are sold with small removable slipcases wrapped around the bottom of the book. That's why the two images are different at the bottom.

For #241, I believe that you moved the ISBN values over to the the default edition by Viz Media, but those values actually are for the Japanese edition by Shueisha. If you are going by the default edition's cover image, then I think the default edition actually served as a placeholder for the second most popular edition by Viz Media. The same is true for #242 as well.

The editions are combined already. Goodreads does not delete unavailable/out of print editions; it is more of a library data base than a sales site. Readers can shelve whichever edition they read.
