Livy is a Honey badger but is sorta estranged from her family. She doesn't take part in the family business. Honey badger shifters family dynamics were definitely interesting. Vic is a bear tiger hybrid. He's prior military and does freelance work mostly for shifter police enforcement agencies. Both get caught up in finding the man responsible for arranging shifter hunts for wealthy clients.
One of my favorite things of this series is the unusual pairings and hybrids. I also loved the humor I laughed out loud so many times. Of course reading about characters from past books was great too. I can't wait to see who's paired up next.

Review: Mercy Thompson's story continues as she contends with a sorcerer who is killing humans and is overpowering the local vampires. I think I liked this book even better than the first. I'm not sure where this love triangle is going, but I'm curious to find out! I love Mercy's personality- she's tough, funny and so brave. The werewolf pack power struggles are often aggravating, but the story is still very suspenseful.

This one was a reread for me, but it was also my first Colleen Hoover book, which I read back in 2014. I loved it so much more the second time around, and upped it from 4 to 5 stars. Such a beautiful story, and amazing characters.

This was such a good book, but so long! My first Brandon Sanderson book, and I liked it a lot. Definitely going to have to read the sequel. Will definitely be reading more from this author.
I now own Park Place

Yes! The first time I read it I didn't like it as much. Not sure why... But rereading it made me love it more.

Starting Space: Park Place
Landing On: Community Chest
Community Chest Roll: 4 + 5 = 9
Community Chest #9: Advanced to St. Charles Place
Maya owns this, so I have to read two books from the Ebooks Shelf for Rent.

Yeah I can't wait either!
I'd actually like to re-read Slammed, seeing as it was her first series that I read and it's what got my initially into her books. I read them a while ago though.

Edit: And it might be perfect for my first rent book. XD

I need to read that! How long is it?

Review
Ileana Harper and Tommy Colton are best friends and partners in the FBI working on a puzzling serial killer case. During the investigation things get complicated between the partners regarding their personal relationship. Ileana somehow time travels into the past when she is chasing the suspect.
I was immediately pulled into the story. Ileana and Tommy were very complex characters. I enjoyed learning about their pasts. I loved how close they were and how much they trusted each other. Even though they had so much to work through they never once were worried the other wouldn't be there for them.
Ileana and Tommy both were so broken by past things that happened in their life. They really needed each other. Even though they dealt with their problems differently they seemed to calm and balance each other.
The investigation was so interesting I was so into figuring out what happened and why Ileana traveled back in time also if she would be able to go back home.
I really enjoyed the parts set in the past the author really did a good job pulling me into the time period. I liked all the talk and discussion of the war between Will and his family. The ending definitely has me wanting to read book 2.
I recommend this book to anyone who love romance or romantic suspense and is looking for something that's not the same old story.
I received this book from Netgalley and the publisher for a honest review.

This was such a different Colleen Hoover book than I'm used to. This book, posted through many different chapters on Wattpad, was a very different experience. Interesting characters, and plot, and the writing was good (because CoHo!) but yet unedited. So it was nice just seeing this all out there like that. Not to mention free. Nice idea from a great author. I didn't absolutely love the book, but still thought it was good!

Wow! This book was amazing. I've put off reading this one for so long, but it was picked for me this month in a PIFM and so I finally picked it up. I absolutely loved Echo and Noah. They both had rough lives, but were able to push through, make things better, move on, make it through... I felt so much for both of them, and at one point actually teared up. Hard to do, but it happened! I loved the writing here. I thought it was brilliantly done, and though the subject matter was hard, it was well thought out and executed. Will certainly be reading the rest of this series!

Review: The Guilty is a fascinating legal thriller. Even though I instantly disliked the main character Robert Bratt, I found myself hoping he would turn a new leaf. You can tell Boutros has a background in law, as he described the emotions of a defense attorney and the murder case proceedings very well. I really enjoyed the descriptions of Montreal and once the courtroom scenes started, I was hooked!! If you enjoy legal thrillers, I definitely recommend this book to you.
**I received a copy of this book from the For Love of a Book group in exchange for a fair and honest review.

And I'm going to read Too Late soon. On the third chapter but not really started it properly. It's good though. Quite graphic.

Review: I have really enjoyed all the books in this series, this one included. Winter is action-packed from start to finish and by book 4 there are so many characters that I've come to love that I couldn't wait to find out what would happen to them all. I appreciate having read Levana's story, otherwise this whole story would have had much less dimension. I really liked Princess Winter's POV...the fact that she has the Lunar Gift but refuses to use it while everyone else does is incredible. I cannot imagine living in a place where you were constantly at risk of someone controlling you.
How it fits: Levana is bossy! to say the least.

LOL, that is a lot of books!!

You have no idea about my luck Greta. Legit you don't. On my other game I paid 4 books rent from the 2010 shelf (Marvin Gardens) then I landed on 3 of my own properties so I kept rolling and then on my final roll I actually landed up on - guess where - Marvin Gardens again! So technically I paid 8 books rent in a row from the 2010 shelf to one other person I'm playing with. It is really frustrating! Still on that spot now. Been on it for probably like 2 months now, or nearly.

Review: I loved the movie, so I figured I'd try the book, and now I'm really glad I did. It was just as good, if not a teeny bit better. And the movie kept fairly accurate, which was a really awesome thing. She didn't have much of a role in the movie, but I absolutely adored Nora, and couldn't help but squee a tiny bit at the end, when (view spoiler) . Before requesting the book from the library, I didn't know that it was the first in a series, but now I just have to read the rest. Like, right now. But I don't have them. *sniffles* Soon, then. Sooooooooooon...
