I believe I have everything up to date in the tracking post, but please let me know if I've missed anything :)

Book Read

Etiquette & Espionage Gail Carriger
Date Read: 5/27/16
Rating: 4 stars
Review: This book is the start of a YA series set in the same world as The Parasol Protectorate series (but at a slightly earlier time). Sophronia is sent to "finishing school", which teaches her more than how to curtsy (although she learns that too). I always love stories about unusual schools, so this was right up my alley.
One of the things I like the most was that the girls focused on what they were doing and their adventures, and not on boys. They were interested in boys, but it wasn't all teenage love-struck stuff. I also liked all of the little clever things they learned. And The main character was cute - feisty and clever.

Review: Lara Jane is a good girl, she's never had a boyfriend but she's been in love 5 times. Each of the 5 she has written a letter to, letters that express her deepest emotions and thoughts, words that she would never dare speak aloud let alone to the guys she loved at each point in time that it was that guy she was in love with. They were never to know how she felt, until one day they do. What is she going to do, especially when of the boys is her older sisters ex.
I really enjoyed To All the Boys I've Loved before, it was sweet and innocent. Between reading this book and watching You Are Beautiful on Netflix my heart was in full happy mode.
Excited to go pick up the next book.

And...that earns us another stamp. Good job everyone!

Beastly by Alex Flinn
Date Read: May 30, 2016

Well, as I said before, I'm a total sucker for fairytale retellings, especially beauty and the beast.
I was surprised that this novel was entirely from the 'Beast' point of view - you never get inside of Beauty's head. But it worked - the author did a really excellent job of making Beast despicable to start, but not so terrible that you couldn't relate to him or didn't want him to find happiness in the end. And I do like my happy endings :-)
I recommend this for a quick, easy read. You get what you expect and the modernization was well done.

I had great fun with all of you and my to-be-read stack sure has grown tall!!!

It was fun meeting all of you - thanks for all the great suggestions and reviews!!
