As always, I loved immersing myself in the life of Kat and Bones! This story was all over the place and it was as engaging as ever. I had to pull one star because sometimes it was just a bit too all over.

Oh how I adore the Var princes! I’ve enjoyed Falke from the start. He may be rough around the edges, but his utter love and devotion to those he loves always shone through! Sam...I’m kind of on the fence with her. I like her, but she seemed a bit two dimensional for me. I love that we finally got to meet Jarek!

Yep, you can't link your review, you've gotta add it to the thread.
And I love MMP's dragons & Var. One of the earliest series I started reading on the computer.

For the free space, I'm going to read

Review: I really loved this book. A girl escaping from a place where she was held captive all of her life ends up finding shelter among "the Others". The secondary characters are all so interesting, and I loved how they supported each other and learned to accept each others differences. I am SO excited to continue on with this series!

Agreed. The series has yet to let me down. Hopefully we get shelves that let you read the next one soon!

WOW! I really enjoyed this story. Unlike previous installments, this was very character focused. There was a “conflict” of sorts, but it was more a secondary issue to Grace’s and Khalil’s relationship. Khalil and the Djinn in general have been a very interesting spoke of the Elder Races. I’m glad to finally have a better understanding of them and look forward to their involvement in future stories. On the surface, the relationship Grace and Khalil embark on doesn’t really work...but as the story went on, I fell more and more in love with this couple. They are a unique blend of way to opposite and made for each other. I have a feeling the Oracle will play a large role in future stories and I can’t wait to see how that all plays out!

Review: Alexia investigates some kind of plague that is happening to the supernatural community. She travels to Scotland in a dirigible, learns a lot more about pack politics, and of course uses extremely proper manners wherever possible.
I enjoyed this one - I new more what to expect after having read book #1 in the series, and I like the humor interjected into the plots of these books. Things are just so very proper, and yet not. This one has a pretty big cliffhanger ending, so I'm glad the next book is available already.

Guilty Pleasures - sounds fun!

Review: This is a love story in basically 3 parts. I enjoyed the story of how Allie and Noah met, and I liked how they met again. But what really makes this book touching is the story throughout about how love endures through time.

This was a fun, quick read! I think the darker aspects of Lucas’ pleasures could have been explored more. They seemed to be thrown in there to spice up the story. I love how well Mia handled herself with Tucker...and I cracked up with each new list!

i'll say! it worked for me! =)

Review: Gosh, this was much creepier than I expected!!! And I mean that in a good way. Usually I don't go for scary books, but this one had a great level of suspense and creepiness without going overboard. I really liked Amelia, our main character, because she was so sensible and smart. That's hard to find in paranormal novels sometimes, and I'm pleased the author managed to pull it off even with a girl who can see ghosts. Well done!! :-)

I sent Carrie a message today just to check up on things. School can sure keep a person busy.

Review: Hello Daemon, I forgot how much I enjoyed you. XD
To some this could be spoilerish?
Ok so it had been a few years since I read the first book in this series, so I had to back track a little just to refresh my memory. But after a little Lux 101 I was on the path to enjoyment and mixture of other emotions. Swooning, and smiling. Rage and eye-rolling. I knew there was something fishy going on with certain characters, it was to obvious for them (Will and Blake). Not to go into to detail but they came across as too perfect if you know what I mean.
I am sooo grateful I'm not reading this when the books were originally released as I'd be on edge waiting for the next book. But lucky for me book 3 is awaiting me. :)

Thanks Carrie and best of luck with your test this week!!

Oh and from what I've seen - a lot of teams are just getting their first stamp :) We fit right in!

Gah - all of you keep adding to my to-read list - I need to just read full time I think ! If only...

I'm happy that in 2 weeks I can read much more for pleasure and have a bit more time to do so not much more as my library shifts will pick up more with class out but I won't have to study or write papers.

You now have an updated BINGO card with a stamp on 'aliens'.
