Hi
If you read rule #2 above, you'll see that an author's publicist is not supposed to nominate his or her client's work. Thanks.

I'm not trying to influence the nominations by any means, it doesn't make much difference whether it's chosen or not I'm still going to read it. And since I just recently started reading it I can easily put it down and pick it back up again later if necessary :-) I think the title makes it sound interesting and what I know from it is its a crime, mystery, and thriller all in one. I think its a great choice for getting a mystery with some chill factor in there. My friends who've read it said it creeped them out but they loved the book :-)
I'm very sorry if I've nominated it again if it has been nominated and read once. I didn't see anywhere that it it was on here.

That's not really a mystery, Laurie. It's more a Romance, so I wont accept the nomination.
Would you like to nominate another?

It's a new one, but available in ebook and hard copy. I couldn't see if Jennifer Hillier had been read yet. If so, I would nominated Until You're Mine as an alternative

Rock'n'Roll Suicide, Geoffrey West (Stuart)

Oh so many more books to add to my TBR list now!
I find that that is the best part (or worst, perhaps, depending on your point of view) of the nomination process!
I'll check to see if The Butcher has been read... you can check too (that's you plural, all of you, not just you Chava)
The link to the group bookshelf is in the top-right corner, under the group avatar.

The Boy in the Suitcase
This novel is the first in a really excellent new series.

Maggie Bradford is on trial for murder -- in the celebrity trial of the decade. As one of the world's best-loved singer-songwriters, she seems to have it all. So how could she have murdered not just one, but two of her husbands? Will Shepherd was Maggie's second husband. A magnificent athlete and film star, he was just as famous. But Will had dark, dangerous secrets that none of his fans could have imagined! that his own wife could never have dreamed of.

General rules for Group Reads
1) Important: If your nomination wins - you will be the discussion moderator.
2) One (1) nomination only per person. Neither self-nominations by authors nor nominations by their respective publishers or publicist will be accepted.
3) Do not cheat or manipulate results. It is not acceptable to create fake accounts to nominate books or vote in polls and it is not acceptable to invite people to the site for the sole purpose of nominating a book or voting for a book in a poll. It is not acceptable to ask for votes or influence the poll in any way. If the moderators feel that a group read poll has been manipulated, the book in question will be disqualified. If the moderators feel that the user(s) are fake accounts, these will be reported to Goodreads for further review.
4) Please do not repeat an author we have read in the last year. Check the bookshelves to see the authors we've read in the past year.
5) For your nomination please include Title, Author and Link (Use the "add book/author" link at the top of the comment box).
6) Since we are an international group, please check to make sure the book is readily available in more than one format. The last thing we want is to nominate a book that no one can get.
7) Finally, a word about series - the joy or bane of a mystery reader's life! Please consider whether the book you are nominating would be best read by someone who has read all the previous books in the series or can be enjoyed by someone new to the series too.
Have fun and good luck!!
