Right now I'm reading

for the E in peace and for a book set in Ireland. I'm 100 pages in, and meh...it's a thriller with no action, at all, but I'm still holding out hope.

Otherwise, I have no idea. Because I'm on a program where I can find electronic books really easily, I don't really plan that much.

I'm currently reading the Circle Trilogy by Nora Roberts. I started book one, Morrigan's Cross, yesterday and hope/plan to finish it today. Then I'll move on to books two and three (Dance of the Gods and Valley of Silence).

I next plan to read Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine.

After that, I need to read the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire. I have all nine books out from my library. They start with Rosemary and Rue and currently end with A Red-Rose Chain.

And somewhere in there I'm going to also need to read The Others series by Anne Bishop (four books); No Quest For The Wicked (the latest book I'm up to in the Enchanted, Inc., series by Shanna Swendson); S Is for Shamrock: An Ireland Alphabet by Eve Bunting and Carswell's Guide to Being Lucky by Marissa Meyer for the Road to St. Patrick's Challenge; and a biography for Book Riot's Read Harder 2016 Challenge (either/both of Odd Boy Out: Young Albert Einstein by Don Brown and/or Genghis Khan: 13th-Century Mongolian Tyrant by Enid A. Goldberg).

I don't know how - or even if - I'm going to read all of these books during the Readathon, but I'm going to give it my best shot! :-)

I am about to finish An Ember in the Ashes today! Yaaayyy!

Have just started Notorious Nineteen for favorite author's book (red cover, too!)

I hope to read The Last Storyteller: A Novel of Ireland, Gone Girl, Bones Under the Beach Hut, Muffin But Murder, and Water for Elephants for this and various other challenges. I may have bitten off more than I can chew, but I'm really enjoying myself!!

Hi Jen! I recently discovered Nora Roberts while looking for a trilogy to read for the Pop Sugar challenge last year. She's great! Have you read her Three Sisters books? Loved them!

I recently saw a video about Tartt's inspiration for The Goldfinch it made me really want to read the book.

I've only read one series by Tamora Pierce but I definitely plan to read more.

I haven't read any Rachel Caine yet but Ink and bone is one I hope to read. I have the first ten Morganville vampire series but haven't started it yet.

Hi Lauri! Yes, I've read the Three Sisters Trilogy. I think I've read just about everything Nora Roberts has ever written (under her NR name, at least; I'm very behind on the In Death series she writes under J.D. Robb) I really love her books. Most of them are probably rated "only" four stars on my "read" shelf, but I need to reread so, so many of them to update my stars and get reviews written. It's a daunting project, but I'm happy to be started on it by reading the Circle Trilogy! :-)

I have enjoyed many of Nora Roberts fantasy trilogies. One of my fave series if hers is the Donavan Legacy series.

It was seriously amazing. I rated it 5 well-deserved stars.
I read most things that are about the Old Testament because I find that time in history, and the idea of separating history from story fascinating. The Red Tent was, hands down, my favorite of this genre so far.

Ha, I know what you mean. I've decided to start reviewing recent books that I've read, but I'm already feeling overwhelmed. I've read so many in the last few months, now that I'm active on here.

Yes! lol I recently shifted all of the books that I've read but have yet to read to a new shelf, "to reread and review." Sadly, that knocked my "read" shelved books down by HALF. It's good that I'm open to rereading so many of the books I have yet to review. (Those few that I don't want to reread - the Twilight series, for instance, which I did not LOVE love - I'll find some way of sharing my remembered thoughts.) ;-)

@Corrine -- I have been wanting to read Steven King is a favorite of mine. I'm glad to see you liked it.

@Stephanie -- I have read some of Neil Gaiman's stuff. My mom and my daughter are readers too, and I agree with you! There are so many good stories out there that are well written and just really don't need the sex to tell the story! I wish authors would have more confidence that the story would sell with out it. It is my biggest disappointment with

I'm all ghetto, y'all. My laptop keyboard has been a mess for a while. My S is completely gone, my W sticks and now my spacebar was working about 2 in every 10 words. So, I plugged in one of my keyboards and am using it instead. My laptop is already held together by a clamp. I hope I can get another laptop in a year or two. LOL! Usually I do all my stuff on Widget, my gaming PC, but my Hubby is watching a wrestling thing tonight and I was a good wife and gave up Widget for the night so He isn't watching it on His laptop.

At least I'll have some time to catch up after dinner. :)

A lot of y'all reading Ink & Bone. I really enjoyed it. I read it soon after I read The Invisible Library, which I liked but didn't love. I definitely like Ink & Bone a lot better.

Hope those of you reading Goldfinch are joining in the BOM for it too. I guess it got a lot of votes but not many people are getting involved in the BOM itself. BOM's is one thing I don't really do as a mod, I just don't read the books everyone else is, for the most part. I'll join an occasional one and some in the Back Room.

It feels like I should have more, but I loaded my schedule too heavy and got stuck with several books at the midway point when the Read-a-thon started. I've read one qualifying book:

I enjoyed The Red Tent as well! I thought it was an interesting perspective on the story.

I recently read and it was so good that I downloaded so my husband and I could listen together. It was even better the second time around. It's a fast starter, with that trademark Ilona Andrews wit! Now we're listening to the 2nd book in the series. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Looks like a lot of us will be reading ! I hope to see many of you on the BOM thread, too!

Yes! I know exactly what you mean! I'm one of those readers that after awhile, it just gets too clinical. I don't mind sex scenes, but I'll pass on the twenty page romps and the epilogue boinking. It doesn't belong in the epilogue! For me, it's all about emotion and characterization...and a decent plot, of course. : )

I started since it's the last in the series, might as well read it. No clue what I'm doing after that. I'm thinking about tackling the LRPG task of increasing words in title. But don't know what I'd read. :) I'm just so not a planner.

I'm another Nora Roberts fan. She's one of few authors who I'll read just a romance of, though I prefer the stories with the suspense in them. She's also the author I have read the most. Between Nora & J.D., I've read 95 books by her.

I'm more of a fly-by-er. I can plan maybe 2 or 3 in advance, and I can deligate a book to a challenge task, but multiple tasks and multiple books for multiple days makes my head spin.

Never?! Oh my! You gotta remedy that. Even if you aren't a huge romance fan, she does it so well, she's worth reading. Check out Blue Smoke if you like suspense at all, it's about a female arson investigator who has fire follow her through life. It's really good.

I have NO idea what I wanna read next. I'm not really in a mood for anything at the moment. I may look through my NetGalley books, as I have a bunch there I need to get through. Other than that, I dunno!

I get a lot of my book-reading ideas from 1. challenges 2. book-related subreddits and 3. book clubs. I'm usually reading on a whim but I will say I plan to read certain books in a month just from book clubs and challenges. But a lot of times I'll change what books I'm going to read for challenges because of how I feel. :)

Random Question:

What book series, 50 years from now, do you feel will be regarded as "classics"?

I think that Harry Potter will be, in all honesty. I think in 70 years, it will still be as popular as it is now, kind of like how LOTR is.
