Elizabeth I've managed to mislay my Spring Challenge book so until I find it I'm enjoying a couple of short reads by Kate DiCamillo. I started following her page on Facebook because her posts are so whimsical and heartfelt and are now discovering that her books are much the same. She sure knows how to pull on the heartstrings. I'm reading The Tale of Despereaux right now.

A friend has recommended her books and we have them at work for younger readers. I've heard Flora and Ulysses: The Illuminated Adventures is good. I will get to it sooner or later.

The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood - the one?

In my opinion, the majority of books are better than the movie or TV series :)

I have read this book twice. I have seen the film but haven't watched the mini series. The source material is almost always best and it is in this case. IMHO. My favourite dystopian novel.

I agree. This book had me absolutely sobbing. It was a 5 Star read and I couldn’t pick up another book for days - which is very significant! I haven’t loved any of her other books quite like this one.

I,refused to,watch the movie or the mini series because I don’t want to destroy my memory of this experience.

Just starting Godsgrave Godsgrave (The Nevernight Chronicle, #2) by Jay Kristoff by Jay Kristoff. Just look at that beautiful cover!
I wish he didn't use the c word in the first few pages though. Hope it isn't the start of a trend.
