love that book, Tango

I read all of the Wayward Pines books by Blake Crouch, as well as Abandon and I'm too scared to read this one in case he finishes with his (view spoiler) ...

Has anyone in this group read it?

One of my all-time favourites, Sharon! One piece of advice I would give is to try not to get caught up in the logic (or lack thereof) of the time travel. If you can suspend judgement you are bound to enjoy it more.

Thanks Andrea. Yes it's the time travel bit that I'm having trouble with

I loved Watership Down when I read it. Since hearing of the author's passing away, I've had a desire to re-read it. Glad to hear you're enjoying it.

Hi, I loved this book, I hope you enjoy it!

Hiya Kiera,
First off, how have you been? =o)
This is a just for fun, curious question. On the home page that has this book and everyone's reviews, there is a picture of a man in a denim shirt that says 'I was set up plain and simple'. Whom I find very.... Attractive to say the least. Uhum, anyway, I was wondering if you have a TV series show called Prison Break on Netflix in Australia? I'm pretty sure you would. My point is, the hottie (my opinion) in the picture is the main character, named Michael. In short, Michael's brother is wrongfully accused of murder and is sentenced to death. Michael purposely commits a crime so he can be sent to the same prison where his brother is. Why? Because he has a plan. He's going to rescue his brother and break them both out. But before the plan is complete, Michael starts falling for, Sarah, the very pretty, prison Dr. Now he's got her mixed up in the very risky plan, too. It's a really good show. It doesn't seem that it's based on this book, but it's similar enough, and I thought I'd tell you about it. You might be interested in checking it out. =o)
Also, my friend, I'm not usually big on the romance genre, although I've been known to read romantic suspense on occasion. But you've got me most interested in this book, so much so that I may have to give it a whirl! Well done!

I wasnt a huge fan of this one either Sharon, I liked it but didnt love it like I was expecting. I was really looking forward to it as I love Time Travel plus Romance and lots of people who have loved the same books as me also loved this one, but wasnt to be. I decided I shouldnt go into books with such high expectations maybe :)

I wasn't a fan of this one when I tried it some years back. Didn't mind the movie though.

The movie was pretty good.

How are you going with it? I really enjoyed it, but it didn't grip me from the start either. It does get better. Suspend the logical part of your brain. :)

It always takes me a while to warm to Fredrik Backman's characters...but it's taking me a bit longer to warm to Britt-Marie than it did to Ove. I'm sure I'll love her by the end.

One of my favourites too. Just suspend the disbelief.

I think it's a trilogy - there are only 3 sisters and each is getting her own story.

Yes it's a trilogy Sally - but they can be read as stand alones :) I'd prefer to read in order though as with Daintree the sister who was the MC in Kakadu Sunset pops in. So then we catch up with her again :) I'm really looking forward to the third in the trilogy!

I'm just about to go to bed and start reading Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo. I am so looking forward to this !!!

I must not have really liked that one because I have never followed it up with the sequel!

Oh my god, Lil Owl, hello! I know of Pridon Break. I haven't ever watched it and I don't have Netflix, so not sure if it's on there.
You would love BT's book. I finished it now and yup! Five stars, alright! It's the first in his Broken Outlaw series. There's going to be 3 or 4 books (the second one is already out).
I have made aquaintences with BT and his circle of friends, because I am becoming an indie romance author (that's how much I love romance). BT is cool, man! So cool and down to earth and funny as hell and inspiring. So is Mikey Lee and cover photographer, Reggie Deanching. I've been making connections in all the right places, I think! Also, the cover model on Into the Nothing- Gideon Connelly- I think I'm going to use him on my third book. Anyway, enough of that on here. I hope you're well. BT URRUELA FOR THE WIN!!

I'll have to see if my husband has read that one. He is a huge Terry Pratchett fan.

Hiya Kiera,
I'll have to check it out! =o)

Bree, I've bought Pines but will have to read it to find out if what you said in the Spoiler is also true for Dark Matter. I liked the ending in Dark Matter - it didn't answer all your questions but it was hopeful.

I'm enjoying it but it is quite long and I suspect the sequels are going to be more in the same vein so I think this might be a one off for me too.

What a treat Leonie!
