I created a bookshelf here in Goodreads called pre-ordered - as soon as I do so they go in there so I can keep track. When I get the book I add it to my to read shelf and take it off the pre-ordered. Of course I have on the odd occasion forgotten to check in the heat of the moment and ended up with two still :)

Yesterday I bought The Inaugural Meeting of the Fairvale Ladies Book Club by Sophie Green.

Set here in the Top End of the NT how could I not? Also one of the main characters is Sallyanne and that is my birth name (legally changed it to just Sally back in the late 70s). So another reason to read it :)

It seems silly borrowing books from the library when I have many books at home that still need to be read. I do find I tend to read the library one a bit quicker :)
