Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9976 comments Well, I'm back from our Hornsby get together, and I think I came back with as many books as I took there.
What with swaps and a mystery book, I can tick off a few wishlist books, although I wasn't lucky enough to score The Cottage at Rosella Cove, like Brenda did!
Melt
The Book Ninja
The Gulf
Goodwood
The Purity of Vengeance
A Stranger in My Street
A Month of Sundays
Louis & Louise
whew!!

Kmart have been having book clearances lately. I’ve had people posting piles of book on Facebook saying they were only $4 & $5 each. I haven’t been lucky enough to see any though.

Lawson's Bend by Nicole Hurley-Moore a good one for the cover challenge but I’m not sure now whether it’s blue or purple :p

Carolyn | 9841 comments Netgalley members - I just picked up a copy of River of Salt by Aussie Writer (and musician) Dave Warner as a 'Read Now' from Netgalley.

If you're thinking of joining Netgalley, 'Read Now' books are a great way to start to build a profile. You don't need approval from the publisher - just click and download, write a review before publication and once you've done a few try asking for books that need approval (make sure you've reviewed over 80% of your downloaded books first). Just be careful not to download too many to start with!
