Review: Nice sweet holiday read. There was a nice twinge of angst, but I thought Rudi was kind of a jerk for expecting Graham to make such a huge life changing decision in 2 seconds. Graham was VERY understanding. But it's all very light and fluffy so nothing is too deep. Good read if you're in the mood for a smile.

Week #11

Rating: 5 stars
Review: LOL, I think this was the first time, that I have read a Christmas themed book in May! Nevertheless, I had a great time reading it. Sloane and Hank were fun together. I really enjoyed their "little fights" during the time when they had to plan a Christmas party for their frat house, forced to by Hank's brother Micah.
Shortly after the party, they ended up spending Christmas together with Hank's family. There things got sweet and romantic. Then, finally their first time together in that barn, it was really special! Loved it!

Two to go!

Week 11 ~ Option 2: How to Walk Like a Man

OMG! I loved this. I freaking loved this. Roman was too adorable and Matt was perfect for him. There were some awesomely awkward scenes that had me laughing out loud. I can't wait to get to book 3, although I don't know how Ms. Easton will top Matt and Roman.

Two to go!"
One now! If you aren't going to be around, we can have Poongothai PM Jane and/or post in the Q&A thread to let Jane know.
Are all the posts good? There haven't been any issues all along, so I'm sure they are.

WEEK 11 option 1
Small Town Christmas
3 stars
Anthology of 3 romances set during Christmas. The first one was fun and the second was touching. The last story was the cutest and I'll be reading that series

Looking forward to the next round. :)

Thanks Calila for keeping us all in line! =) Even if it took me seeing someone else's selection post (every week but one!) to remember to put the asterisk in for you! =P

Wow - that one got me! What a story! I can't even begin to understand the life represented here, trying to live your life but hide it too. Daniel and Jacob met during WWII and fell in love, not a safe thing to do. This tells the story of their life and it wasn't always easy. The war was difficult to read about, especially the attack that results in an injury that separates them until peacetime again. It follows them from reuniting through prejudice and hatred to standing up for acceptance and finally gaining it. Parts of it made me almost sob and even now after I'm done, I'm still tearing up. This was wonderful! And I'm so glad I read it!
I was so taken with the story, I almost forgot to mention Kaleo Griffith's fabulous narration! He is one of my favorite narrators to begin with, but he outdid himself here. The end, especially, was amazing - how he aged the characters just made them even more real!
Just read it already! Or even better, listen to it!
