As you may or may not know, I consider myself a gamer. When I found out about this holiday, I knew I had to do it for a challenge! Did you know that March 10 is Mario Day? Written in abbreviated form, this date reads Mar. 10. Or, as it appeared to a Mr. Mario Fascitelli: MARIO. Fascitelli decided this quirk of the calendar was deserving of a holiday for people to celebrate the Marios in their lives. My first thought was of Mario of Donkey Kong/Mario Brothers fame!
