Thanks everyone. They want me to go into "no weight bearing" on the foot but damned if I see how I can manage that. So for now we are awaiting a bone stimulator and developments. Dull.Weather appalling; high winds, cloudy, dusting of snow and cold and dropping. Winter is getting old. Wrecks on the expressway this morning with icy condts, I hope no one was killed but the fireman says one was really bad. (We leave near expressway and can tell when it's stopped. It was.)

Thanks Gail. I am presently in a "poor pitiful me the damn foot hurts and is an irritation and probably won't heal and what am I doing in this condt anyway it is so inconvenient and tiring/tiresome to limp around like this whine" mood. Hopefully this will pass.
The weather is ick--very very cold (single digits) and 3" snow called for today. February is the worst month in the world, for sure. But once March gets here (we should all live so long) the crocus will begin to come up and maybe there will be hope for a better life.

I have a job interview on Monday, I'm kinda nervous about it. It's with a temp accounting agency.

I think it went pretty well. It's a temp agency so I won't have jobs right away, but they seemed impressed with my experience/skills.
On a more somber note, my dad passed away yesterday, just 27 days after my mom. I am officially an orphan now.

We are heading into autum now here in Australia :)
So how long a flight is it from Australia to Honolulu? About 12 hours?And do you arrive yesterday or tomorrow? I always get the Date Line thing mixed up. Military flights always left me completely messed up for a week.
