Kadijah Michelle (kadmich) This was the first year in many I didn't have Girl Scout cookies. Maybe that's why I lost so much weight over the winter, lol.

message 102: by Louise (new)

Louise They sound yummy! Alas there are no cookies... :-)

message 103: by Kathy (new)

Kathy (littlemissred3) | 71 comments I live in the new mexico desert so I can't relate to that! LOL We were SUPPOSED to get some rain, but {big sigh} a few drops to make it humid and sticky. Good day to read tho!

Today marks 3 months in my new job. I was on probation for that period, I am now a permanent employee! I am going home to celebrate.

message 105: by Kathy (new)

Kathy (littlemissred3) | 71 comments Congratulations Gail! what do you do?

message 106: by Kadijah Michelle (new)

Kadijah Michelle (kadmich) I don't know where you are Barb, but here, I have six more days till I send the little (the word changes based on my mood) off to school. My husband was picking on me this morning. He said you are so excited about school starting, but in two days you will be complaining that you miss them. I said true, but at least the house will be clean:)

message 107: by Kathy (new)

Kathy (littlemissred3) | 71 comments I miss my daughters being little and in school. They grow up so fast!! Enjoy them while you have them, and hope they don't forget where you live when they're grown and moved out.

I try not to confess it too often or too loudly. I'm an accountant. I work in the not-for profit sector now, so feel a little better about it.

Congrats, Gail!"

Thanks Barb. I have a really good boss where I am working now.

Carol | 1678 comments School starts Monday! No more Fridays off. I have to work tomorrow because we had no students available. First time in 13 years.

message 111: by Laurin (new)

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments Arm still hurts from slamming my elbow into the corner of a filing cabinet. Excited to make pottery with my boss' wife sometime this fall. Phone broke, but I'll have a new one Tuesday.

I'm majoring in accounting! Did you ever do public accounting? I feel like that's how you have to get into it, but I'm terrified of it.

Wellington | 10 comments My Sunday was very great with my wife....

message 114: by Kathy (new)

Kathy (littlemissred3) | 71 comments That's so nice to say Wellington. You don't hear something like that often.

Just now finishing lunch and checking out GR.

message 115: by [deleted user] (new)

I am on the bus, on the way to work. My weekend was spent trying to keep my daughter on track for her exams this week. I am looking forward to work this morning, leaving the stress behind.

message 116: by Laurin (new)

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments I had dinner with my grandparents and cleaned. Overall not too bad of a day.

message 117: by Kadijah Michelle (new)

Kadijah Michelle (kadmich) Sent my four kids off to school today. My oldest started high school. Feeling old.

message 118: by Laurin (new)

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments Another alright kind of day.

message 119: by Kathy (new)

Kathy (littlemissred3) | 71 comments Think positive Kadijah about all of the things you can do when they're grown and moved out.

Getting ready for a road trip to Kansas for a week.

message 120: by Carol (new)

Carol | 1678 comments It feels like my dog just broke my toe. I'm icing it now.

message 121: by Kadijah Michelle (new)

Kadijah Michelle (kadmich) Got a whole hour of peace and quiet yesterday because the kids were at school! Now I'm feeling positive. Feeling relaxed.

message 122: by CD (new)

CD | 1577 comments The local pollen count and humidity have lessened enough that breathing is significantly easier. Ah, summer in the Midwest!

message 123: by Carol (new)

Carol | 1678 comments False alarm on the toe, I'm just a crybaby.
I only have very mild allergies and they only bothered me at my sister's.
Hope you're feeling great, CD!

message 124: by [deleted user] (new)

Today feels like it should be Friday. :'(

message 125: by [deleted user] (new)

Sounds like a lovely place to spend your honeymoon.

message 126: by Kadijah Michelle (new)

Kadijah Michelle (kadmich) CD, I'm in the Mid Atlantic, and this is the worst allergy year I've ever had. I need two medicines just to leave the house, and even then I'm still symptomatic.

message 127: by Youndyc (new)

Youndyc | 1255 comments Happy Honeymoon! I've always wanted to go to Niagara Falls.

message 128: by RandomAnthony (last edited Sep 23, 2014 09:36AM) (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I've got kale and provolone cheese on a baguette. Greek yogurt and strawberry.

But I'm gonna eat the fuck out of a pizza tonight.

message 129: by CD (new)

CD | 1577 comments Subway and potato chips. French roast coffee and brownies.

It's Tuesday, I don't have to be holistic or healthy today.

message 130: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments What from subway? Details. That's a complicated ordering process:)

message 131: by CD (new)

CD | 1577 comments Subway Club, provolone, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, green peppers, black olives, chipotle sauce on the side. Foot long of course.

message 132: by CD (new)

CD | 1577 comments Oh! I forgot the three white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, for later of course.

message 133: by Laurin (new)

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments I'm trying to ween myself off of diet coke. Today is day 1. The struggle is real.

message 134: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Laurin. Just think of my friend Mary. She drank 4-5 Diet Cokes a day, until her dentist told her she had zero enamel left and needed crowns on EVERY TOOTH. She spent days and days in the dentist's chair, getting her teeth filed down to points, then crowns attached to each tooth. YUCK.

message 135: by Kathy (new)

Kathy (littlemissred3) | 71 comments I love subway subs and go there at least once a week. lol

message 136: by evie (last edited Sep 23, 2014 05:51PM) (new)

evie (ecie) | 4437 comments The food trays in the Subway outlets here always seem to look like a mucky mess. It puts me off buying there.

It almost brings tears to my eyes.

it is a lot. She was in Pharmacy School and did not like coffee, drank it to study.

message 143: by Laurin (new)

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments I drink about one a day at most. I love coffee so I drink that as well.

message 144: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Not at the same time I hope.

message 145: by Youndyc (new)

Youndyc | 1255 comments My Diet Coke consumption varies, but there have been times in my life when 3-4 per day was normal. Right now it's 1-2. This has been my practice since high school (which was an unfortunately large number of years ago) and I've heard not word one from my dentist about having all my teeth filed off and replaced with crowns. She must have had some other habits (such as acidic foods or rough brushing) that contributed. Coffee and tea are also acidic, but not like cola.

message 146: by Laurin (new)

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments No. Coffee with breakfast, diet coke with lunch.

message 147: by MissJessie (new)

MissJessie | 60 comments I drank a 2 litre bottle every day for several years (can't imagine now) and no damage to the teeth. Could be her enamel was soft or something?

message 148: by [deleted user] (new)

MissJessie--former librarian wrote: "I drank a 2 litre bottle every day for several years (can't imagine now) and no damage to the teeth. Could be her enamel was soft or something?"

Mind boggling.

message 149: by Laurin (new)

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments I'm on day 3 - still no diet coke. I am drinking a Monster today though. Whoops.

I've never had any concerns from the dentist about my pop drinking.

message 150: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) That really is nasty.
