Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 798 comments I finished the second Harry Bosch book The Black Ice (Harry Bosch, #2) by Michael Connelly tonight, and now I can't wait for the discussion in the 2-3-4 Group. Hurry, before I forget what I'm thinking now :)

Vera M. | 446 comments The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black - Liked the idea, didn't quite get into the characters. Thought it could've been expanded into a series.

The Defiant Hero (Troubleshooters, #2) by Suzanne Brockmann - Liked it more then the first. This one moved right along with all three romance stories being great and the suspense part not too bad.

The King's Blood (The Dagger and the Coin, #2) by Daniel Abraham - A good adult fantasy series, book 2. Politics, war, action. Skips around different PoVs.

I agree with you on The Defiant Hero (Troubleshooters, #2) by Suzanne Brockmann . I was enthralled by all 3 story/plot lines that were woven into this book. Really enjoying this author's style!

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments Ok I finished listening to Find Her (Detective D.D. Warren, #8) by Lisa Gardner and although I did like the book I was disappointed. I have enjoyed the D.D Warren Series and waited a long time for this book to come out. Of course it did all come together at the end. Hopefully the next one will be better.

I started this Karen Rose book, but didn't get past the first couple of chapters. I've had a horrid cold, so maybe it just didn't click for me the first time. I'll be curious to see what you think of it. Still have it out from the library.

message 161: by Courtney (new)

Courtney (sekay88) Didn't know where else to put this... Heroes & Heartbreakers has its annual Swoonies competition going RIGHT NOW. First Round in Romantic Suspense pits Eve/Roarke vs. Charley Davidson/Reyes -- AND CHARLEY IS WINNING 3-1! Can this really happen? Voting is open until 2/17 sometime. Can In Death fans save the day?

If (of course we will) we win through, the next round will be against two RS couples that I've never read. I would think it would be a virtual free pass through to face probably either Raphael & Elena from Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series or Kate/Curran from the Kate Daniels series in the semi-finals... but not if they lose in the First Round!
