Laura I'm reading The Missing (The FBI Psychics, #1) by Shiloh Walker .

Kirsten (kmcripn) Just finished reading Galaxy Games The Challengers by Greg R. Fishbone Galaxy Games: The Challengers by Greg R. Fishbone

I loved this book! I think it's a perfect book for kids. Not only is it fun (and funny) but it also presents a wonderful message of peace and tolerance. There's not just aliens but different cultures and ethnic groups, and very strong girl characters! Sure hope he comes out with the followup.

Beware the Dwobleys!

Then I read Cold Touch (Extrasensory Agents, #2) by Leslie Parrish Cold Touch by Leslie Parrish. This was a solid paranormal romance/mystery.

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments Just finished reading Circumstantial Evidence (Sweetwater, #3) by Lisa Clark O'Neill and loved it. Loved Jesse Wellington's role in the book and enjoyed reading more about Will. I was glad to hear that Lisa Clark O'Neill does plan on continuing the Sweetwater Series. I love this series almost as much as the Southern Comfort Series. Will be starting Avarice (Southern Comfort, #.6) by Lisa Clark O'Neill at some point in February.

I have just started listening to Chill of Fear (Bishop/Special Crimes Unit #8) by Kay Hooper and also planning on starting The Ideal Man (Buchanan-Renard, #9) by Julie Garwood . That should keep me busy until Tuesday when Brotherhood in Death (In Death, #42) by J.D. Robb and Alone In the Dark (Faith Corcoran, #2) by Karen Rose come out. February is going to be a very busy month of reading.

Sheri, you've had some really good titles to read! Glad you're enjoying.

message 108: by Sheri (new)

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments I am but am feeling a little lost now that i have caught up on the Fatal Series and the Seals Team 12 Series. I am missing them already. Luckily I have enough new titles coming out this month to keep me busy. Not to mention the Kay Hooper series and Julie Garwood series I am reading. Really am enjoying those as well.

Are you going to start the next Troubleshooters book?

message 110: by Sheri (new)

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments Absolutely, even though the first one was a little slow I really enjoyed it and looking forward to reading the next one. I am going to get through Brotherhood in Death and Alone in the Dark first though. I am really looking forward to those two books. Then I will be reading that one after.

Okay...

Have you read Cindy Gerard's three series? Christy Reece's LCR Elite series? Or her Grey Justice series? What about the Delta Crossroads series by Stacy Green?

message 112: by Sheri (new)

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments I have read all of the LCR and LCR Elite series. I have not read the Grey Justice series but it is on my list. I have read Tin Gods by Stacy Green but haven't continued but will eventually. I have Skeleton's Key but just kind of put it on the back burner for now. I have not heard of Cindy Gerard's Three Series.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 15047 comments Mod
Cindy Gerard has the following RS series:
1. The Bodyguards
2. Black Ops
3. One-Eyed Jacks

message 114: by Sheri (new)

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments Ok the Bodyguards series sounds really good. Going to have to try that one. I think I need to try to finish The Bishop/SCU series and the Buchanon Series by Julie Garwood first.

message 115: by Courtney (new)

Courtney (sekay88) Wanted to get an update in before tomorrow's "Brotherhood" hubbub. Two hospital stays for different reasons (pneumonia, then gall bladder - TMI?) since my last reading update -- but I've obviously had a lot of time to read. Doing fine now.

On the Urban Fantasy front:
Biting Bad, Wild Things and Blood Games by Chloe Neill (Chicagoland Vampires #8-10 - a series that gets better with each book)
First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones (Charley Davidson #1 - Liked it a lot; will continue the series)
Grave Witch by Kalayna Price (Alex Craft #1 - haven't seen anyone comment on this series, but #1 was un-put-downable. Binge read on the horizon.)

From the Mystery/Thriller genre:
Last Light: A Beacon Falls Novel, Featuring Lucy Guardino by C.J. Lyons (Beacon Falls/Lucy Guardino #1 - the start of Lucy G. after the FBI. Outstanding as always. New characters, some needing development in the next book, but Lucy is still the k-a heroine from the first series)

To maintain my blood pressure between all the thrillers, read books in CR (won't detail since this isn't a CR blog group):
Fools Gold series by Susan Mallery
Chesapeake Shores series by Sherryl Woods
Pelican Pointe series by Vickie McKeehan
Lucky Harbor series by Jill Shalvis
Cedar Ridge series by Jill Shalvis
Mystic Creek series by Catherine Anderson

Biting Bad (Chicagoland Vampires, #8) by Chloe Neill Wild Things (Chicagoland Vampires, #9) by Chloe Neill Blood Games (Chicagoland Vampires, #10) by Chloe Neill First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson, #1) by Darynda Jones Grave Witch (Alex Craft, #1) by Kalayna Price Last Light A Beacon Falls Novel, Featuring Lucy Guardino by C.J. I'm really glad I talked myself into another series. I've never been attracted to any sort of futuristic novel, but after a couple of chapters, Eve and Roarke gained my attention right away. I have the second book at hand for when I finish the first :-)

I am more worried that this is too similar to Red Rising by Pierce Brown. But, I'm on hold for the audiobook anyway:)

Vera M. | 446 comments Glory in Death (In Death, #2) by J.D. Robb - one of my favorites of the series!

Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass, #2) by Sarah J. Maas - YA Fantasy. Heavier on the romance then in book 1. Has romance, action, bit of mystery, magic. The reveals are predictable, but impacting.

Hopefully it will pick up soon.
