Thank you, Rusalka (what a lovely name -my favourite opera by the way:)

(Just want to apologize in advance that I might make grammar and spelling mistakes - I have been learning English for many years but oh well....:) I love to read books in English but writing and expressing myself is still a challenge .

So judgement free zone here, we only speak up if we have trouble understanding as we want to know people's thoughts :D

And then... there is Travis... ;-)
...(thank God for Google translator!)

LMAO. I was thinking it, but I'm so glad it's you who said it :P

I'm Pdy from the land down under. I haven't had a chance to read for so long and have noticed its absents... To encourage myself to make time I've joined my first online book club.

Let us know if you have any questions about anything, and jump into all the discussion and activities!

Thanks Rusalka, I'm from Canberra.
This looks like a great book club, I've spent the last hour and a half wandering through... And wow! I've been living under a 'book' rock, there is so much to catch up on and the options... again wow. Thank you to all those who make this all possible, your amazing.

*composes oneself*
I do get excited when I meet another Canberran on the internet. I know there are 350 000 of us, and no doubt our mother's brother's friend's best goat went to school together. But I kinda get excited when we stumble upon each other, obviously.

Oh my God, that was so funny! I'm still tearing. But how we like to have Travis here!
Marie, don't worry about your English (mine is painful), we are kind of re-writing it here...

LOL!!!! You're not a bloke, Sandra... unless I am VERY wrong

Hilarious and I forgot, welcome Pdy and Marie!

jeez... I'm going to be laughing for a while!

*Chuckling*
It would be my hubby's bestfriend's goat... as I'm not a native. Lol. ;-) it's great to meet another Canberran! It is a small world after all.

You see? I'm terrible at languages...

There are languages, and then their is slang within languages within each place. Hat off Sandra, I can hardly speak one language, let alone deal with us crazies on the other side of the world!

Most probably then. Either way, welcome, and doubly welcome for the small geographic proximity ;) Give us a yell if you have any questions.
Still crashing, still giggling. Love you all.

ROFL! I'm with Rusalka on this. :)

You picked a great first group, Pdy!
Marie, my husband and I are opera fans. Rusalka is a wonderful one.
