Hi everyone. I love to read and I joined this group because I would like to read and discuss books with other like-minded book folks. I always tell my husband about the books I'm reading but he's not a big reader so I can never get his own input. ;) We have a 2 year old and a 2 month old so while I don't have a ton of time to read, I do read about 2 books a month on average... including at least 1 audiobook (which are easy for me to listen to while cleaning, walking, driving or nursing/holding my sons). I'm home with my kids a lot and so it would be nice to "talk" to others online who are reading the same books that I have read or that I'm reading. I look forward to finding out more about this group and reading and discussing along with all of you.

Thanks everyone. Ha ha, I'm Anita the Animal from now on. ;) I forgot to mention-- I mostly read contemporary literary novels and short stories, and memoirs, but I also like classics, contemporary legal thrillers, "chick lit" and contemporary womens' fiction, and pretty much anything!

Hi there, I'm Corinna from Berlin, Germany. I'm a regular if not super fast reader with way too many books on my tbr - manly thanks to booktube, my guilty pleasure.
I came across this group while searching for a group somewhere between the neglected (German) Groups that never quite get a discuss going and those with thousands of ambitious readers with challenges I will never ever finish with my pace.
You guys seem like a good fit and the monthly challenge was the final straw to convince me to join.
