Hello. My name is Sarah and I just joined the group. I`m looking forward to getting new reccomendations, joining in with some book discussions and maybe taking part in some challenges. Hi! I just joined and am eager to start discussing and participating in the challenges. I'll read almost anything. My favorite genres tend to be in nonfiction, especially history. In terms of fiction, I'm reading quite a bit of YA, especially dystopian novels.
You are in the right place, here. Many of us read non fiction, and SF and Fantasy (what is better than both extremes of the spectrum?)

Hi Julie! You'll find a wide variety of reading interests here. A lot of our members love gophering - burrowing through your books, e-books, library catalogs, etc. looking for books to fit specific criteria and setting them aside in a special pile (or piles).

Welcome Sharene. A buddy read is where two or more people read a book simultaneously and discuss it. Anyone is welcome to start up a buddy read. I hope you try it out. There are a number that are just starting.We have the December challenge which was posted tonight, and the year long challenge is about to be posted. You may want to check out the "homework" for the annual challenge.

Hey!! I'm Muhannad. 20 yo from Oman, I dunno if I'm the only Middle Eastern here... I hope it's fine? I'm new to Goodreads, but I do read from now and then. I mostly read online books and from online authors rather than real books. I want to develop my reading to writing books (one day) hopefully.. thus I'm trying to read more and learn, and also find out which are the best authors out there and how to choose a good book!
