Karenf ~

I just noticed that my picks were up and I'm so excited and doing a happy dance! I think I'm going to start with Ride with Me by Ruthie Knox (just bought it on smile.amazon.com) since you mentioned he was a grumpy hero and I AM LOOKING FOR ONE OF THESE FOR ANOTHER CHALLENGE!!! YAY!!!

I also want to try to read One Sweet Ride by Jaci Burton, but do I need to read the previous books in order to read this one? I'm excited to start reading Nalini Singh and Shelley Laurenston (I heard they were great writers) and Tangled by Emma Chase since forever (okay, probably only since last summer when the book came out)!!!

OMG! I'm not sure I can wait until the end of next week to start reading!!! (Yep! I was one of THOSE KIDS growing up!)

THANK YOU!!!

Diane ~Firefly~ | 1512 comments Nichole

We've got lots of books in common, so I hope you find something good in these picks.

1. Travel Abroad: Going for a Scottish theme here. First from your shelf X Marks the Spot by Victoria Roberts. Also a good ghost story with Highland Knight by Cindy Miles.

2. Stay-cation: A Clean Sweep by Ilona Andrews is a shorter story about an innkeeper dealing with some bad things in the neighborhood. After reading this I want so badly to be a innkeeper. Or try a cozy paranormal mystery with A Portion to Die For by Heather Blake.

3. Beach Reads: Destiny Kills by Keri Arthur starts on a beach with the most intriguing opening I'd ever read. Or check out Dance Upon the Air by Nora Roberts which is the beginning of a paranormal trilogy about witches and is my favorite. It is a sweet story of a woman coming into her own.

4. Safari Style: I read Animal Magnetism by Jill Shalvis recently and enjoyed it, plus there are lots of cute animals. Or check out Stolen by Kelley Armstrong. You liked the first book and this one will open up the supernatural world.

5. Road Trip: Hell Fire by Ann Aguirre has Corinne looking into her past. Or check out The Man with the Golden Torc by Simon R. Green. It is kind of UF meets a James Bond action movie.

6. Pampered Patron: Flirting with Danger by Suzanne Enoch has a cat burglar getting caught while saving a millionaire's life. Or check out my favorite author, Jayne Ann Krentz with Copper Beach and a bit of intrigue to go with the paranormal.

7. Cruise Control: Both of these are from your shelf and are great next options in their series. Venom by Jennifer Estep is my favorite of the series and one of my few 5 star reads. Or check out Bayou Moon by Ilona Andrews and get Will's story and meet the Mar clan.

8. Be Happy: I really enjoyed The Corset Diaries by Katie MacAlister which has the heroine flying to England to be in a reality show based on regency times. Fool for Love by Beth Ciotta has an eccentric cast that reminds me a bit of Jennifer Crusie.

X Marks the Scot by Victoria Roberts Highland Knight by Cindy Miles Clean Sweep (Innkeeper Chronicles #1) by Ilona Andrews A Potion to Die For (Magic Potion Mystery #1) by Heather Blake Destiny Kills (Myth and Magic, #1) by Keri Arthur Dance Upon the Air (Three Sisters Island, #1) by Nora Roberts Animal Magnetism (Animal Magnetism, #1) by Jill Shalvis Stolen (Women of the Otherworld, #2) by Kelley Armstrong Hell Fire (Corine Solomon, #2) by Ann Aguirre The Man With the Golden Torc (Secret Histories, #1) by Simon R. Green Flirting With Danger (Samantha Jellicoe, #1) by Suzanne Enoch Copper Beach (Dark Legacy, #1) by Jayne Ann Krentz Venom (Elemental Assassin, #3) by Jennifer Estep Bayou Moon (The Edge, #2) by Ilona Andrews The Corset Diaries by Katie MacAlister Fool for Love (Cupcake Lovers, #1) by Beth Ciotta

On the Edge by Ilona Andrews -- Ilona Andrews is another favorite author. The Edge books are all great PNR books.

6. Pampered Patron:
Curve Ball by Charlotte Stein -- from your TBR, they look pretty relaxed on the cover
Blackmailed by Annmarie McKenna -- Brianna definitely needs to relax and Cole & Tyler are determined to make her. You enjoyed a few of AM's books, but didn't enjoy your most recent read of hers as much. This is the first book of hers I ever read and the one I've enjoyed the most.

7. Cruise Control:
Sin at Sea by Emma Nichols -- from your shelves
Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor by Lisa Kleypas -- Lisa Kleypas is your most read author and the majority of them have been 4-5 star reads. I would definitely recommend this contemporary series.

8. Be Happy:
Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet by Darynda Jones -- The only book on your preferred shelf that I've already read. I love Charley Davidson. She always makes me smile.
The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper -- You enjoyed the first book in the series when you read it few years ago, I would recommend adding the second book to your shelves.

Blind Obsession by Ella Frank Warrior (The Blades of the Rose, #1) by Zoe Archer Red Fox (Experiment in Terror, #2) by Karina Halle Laid Bare (Brown Siblings, #1) by Lauren Dane What Binds Us by Larry Benjamin Talk Me Down (Tumble Creek, #1) by Victoria Dahl Leashed (Going to the Dogs, #1) by Zoe Dawson Pride Mates (Shifters Unbound, #1) by Jennifer Ashley Grand Adventures by S.A. McAuley On the Edge (The Edge, #1) by Ilona Andrews Curve Ball by Charlotte Stein Blackmailed by Annmarie McKenna Sin at Sea (Sinful, #1) by Emma Nichols Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, #1) by Lisa Kleypas Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet (Charley Davidson, #4) by Darynda Jones The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf (Naked Werewolf, #2) by Molly Harper

Hi Raine,

I'm glad you're excited about your picks and I really hope you enjoy Ride with Me. I loved it and it's always great when all the challenges come together. :)

I'm not sure about One Sweet Ride because I haven't read it yet. I think that series is only loosely connected. That was the one with the car on the cover so I picked it. But I just saw the rule that you can read any book in a series picked for you so you could go with The Perfect Play (Play by Play, #1) by Jaci Burton (I never miss an opportunity to post that cover) if you wanted to stay in order.

Happy Reading!
