With my usual Sunday night insomnia I finished the Vanishing Thief by Kate Parker -- started it yesterday morning I think. It's a good start for the series -- kind of choppy in the beginning but once the story got going it was pretty good.
Don't remember if I added these before but this past week I read

and

Finished Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks. I gave it *** stars. I listened to it as that is what the library had available so I could finish in time for my book club. The narrator was very good at drawing me in, but the book took a weird turn at the end that didn't seem to fit the theme of the book as a whole. Worth the read, but I am glad it's over.

6/135 Dirty Billionaire by Meghan March 5 steamy stars!

Hi Millie, I can honestly say, if it was myself, that I would not count it at 40%…but probably would count it if over 50%. I don't know what others would do.

20/150 - A Bear's Protection (Shifter Country Bears #1) by Roxie Noir

a four star, last book in a terrific series!
9/135 The Cowboy Inherits a Bride by Cora Seton a 3***, I have read better from her.

Finished Taut: The Ford Book by J.A. Huss. 5 Stars! I stayed up way to late reading this one as I just had to know what happened next.

Personally, I would record it, even if I DNF and make sure to write a review for it. I think all and all it balances out with boxsets that you may get that has more than one book in it or books that are longer than average.

22/150 - A Bear's Mercy (Shifter Country Bears #3) - Roxie Noir
23/150 - A Bear's Journey (Shifter Country Bears #4) - Roxie Noir
24/150 - A Bear's Secret (Shifter Country Bears #5) - Roxie Noir
25/150 - Two Cowboys for Sadie (Short Sizzlers, #1) - Roxie Noir
Millie wrote: "This may not be the place to post this, but how do you handle recording books that end up being too awful to finish. I just had back to back DNF books. I usually read at least 40 percent of a book ..."
I'm sorry I missed this!! I would say use your own judgment. We don't have hard and fast rules to record it here. I've seen people record their DNFs. It's hard to read a big portion of a book and then not get to record it. LOL

3.5 stars--Just couldn't get into this book
I do love Jaci Burtons stories!
