OK...I have a dumb question...is the goal of this challenge to read a different book from a series we started for whatever goal we set (e.g., five books from various series that I've already begun for medium)?I'm blaming my inability to figure this out on my own on the Mondays! =)

This is a "lite" challenge in that it gives us the opportunity to read books some of the series we're started that may not easily fit the criteria of other challenges and so have been lingering.

The exception would be if you unknowingly (or on purpose) read a book out of series order before, but want to go back. So, as long as you've read one book in the series prior to this, then it qualifies.
As always, you may have two (2) "Reader's Choice" books, or more, if you have more than three books that fall into the other categories. Also, you may use the “Spell-it-Out” option and/or the Birthday Babes' “Wild Cards.”
Example: SPELL-IT-OUT
Choose a word that recalls something of a series you enjoy. Read books with titles, series names, authors (first or last name), character (first or last name), that begin with letters that correspond to letters of the word you choose. You may ignore the indefinite and definite articles (a, an, the, etc.). Birthday "Wild Cards": Read a book from one of these birthday babes' shelves.Don't forget to add your books to the RLftCI group 16,000 in 2016 Book Count Challenge. For more info, go here.
