I haven't read Sharp Objects yet. But damn, Dark Places - what can I say? I stayed up all night reading it. Literally.

Loved it. Great protagonist, great rival, great love interest, great magic, great music, but most of all, great storytelling. Most quotable book I've ever read.

2 weeks ago. All the characters are thin and the plot is predictable, but it's got some neat sci-fi ideas. Now reading

I just completed reading 'The Search Warrant' by Modiano and am currently reading, 'Tess of D'Urbervilles' by Thomas Hardy.

I love the ending.
Finished Flood of Fire and Storm Front recently. Was really disappointed with the first, not what I'd been expecting from a writer like Ghosh...Reading Before They Are Hanged, Company of Liars and The Eye of the World currently.
Finished The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, finally!!! Still reading Hellen Keller.Also started Maya's New HusbandReading horror for the first time. Guess I'll be reading with my eyes closed. :/

I just finished 'Orlando' and 'And the Mountains Echoed'. Now I have started with 'The death of a President'. Orlando was phantasmagorical.
