Update: I just finished "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. It has a character name Julian Carax. The X is at the end, but I was hoping to count it for my X as this is the first character at all that I have encountered with even an X in the name. If I can count it, I am up to 24/26.
