Sorry about your dad. You are a good daughter going to stay with your mom. My mom is in nursing home here in Rochester, MN. My 95 year old dad is in senior independent living. I take him to exercise class, to see my mom, to the Dairy Queen and for haircuts. (-:

In Central Illinois among the corn and soy beans, about half a block from a wooded stream. Amazing, incredible green everywhere I look. Frequently have squirrels, rabbits, and deer in the yard--less frequently foxes and coyotes. Saw the first fireflies of the season last night. Grow our own blackberries and tomatoes, but gave up on everything else because the wildlife likes it as much as we do. :-)
