I reckon he should get with this young doctor and see what happens with Max. See if she can grow up. But I don't like her for liking him. He's 14 and she's 21...

Review: Well, this one flew by for sure! I can't believe how quickly I read that one! The most boring so far, but it was nice for a little break. Max annoyed me a whole lot more this time around, what with (view spoiler)[her getting all jealous and petty over Fang and Brigid, (hide spoiler)] but Fang became my favourite because he (view spoiler)[put Max in her place no problems! He said something along the lines of 'when we kiss and get close, you run off, but when I talk to other girls, you get angry. Give me a break'. (hide spoiler)] Perfect. If only every guy in every book could say that XD And of course, more powers came to light. (view spoiler)[Obviously Angel would get another one. Pleased Nudge and Iggy got one though :D Gazzy's new one seems totally retarded and doesn't count, not to me, but anyway. Oh yeah, and Fang's camouflage could come in handy later on. (hide spoiler)]
What the heck was the UD??? A body in boxes? What the heck is Patterson thinking now.. And why is there constantly some bigger better higher being? Max II, Omega, Gozen, Erasers, FlyBoys, the list goes on. Just so far-fetched.

Finished. Review: I'm proud to say that this book was my first ever audiobook. I've never been able to focus on them before, but this time I thought I should, as I'm running out of time in my month, and these are easy reads. So I did it, and it wasn't as bad as I expected. Hoping I'll get into audiobooks now. That would be helpful.

Anyway, onto the content of this book. It flew by. Not that much happened, apart from (view spoiler)[Dylan arriving <3, Max and Fang getting it on, and then Angel turning evil. Oh, and Max and Fang separating from the flock somewhere in the middle. (hide spoiler)] I cannot believe that ending! First big cliffhanger ending I've had of this series! (view spoiler)[Fang!!! How could you do that!? Are you crazy?? This is the kind of stuff I hate in books! The 'selfish but not selfish' thing to do. Ugh just get over yourself and come back, you dick! (hide spoiler)] Rage done. I'm interested to see what the 7th book has in store, and I better be pleased.

How did Fang even find these other mutants, apart from on the blog? How did he pick the 'best candidates'?

He leaves because he 'loves Max', when the first thing he does is invite Max 2 to his little group. No idea why he left if he was just going to shack up with her instead...

Also don't know how Fang broke Max's heart, when he said all of that nice stuff and said they'd meet back up in 20 years. Clearly Fang doesn't want that though. And why would Fang leave her alone with Dylan, when he clearly knew what was going to happen?? I can't wait to see Max and Dylan together. Dylan = perfect. And Max is finally starting to see that. I just want her to stop getting angry every time Dylan does nice stuff. I'm sick of her.

I love Angel's speech to Fang. It was perfect.

Review: This is my first time reading this book, and I liked it. I liked the development between (view spoiler)[Max and Dylan, (hide spoiler)] and also the introduction of (view spoiler)[Fang's gang :D Some new kids with powers. Just so coincidental how Fang chose 3 girls and 3 guys. And why only 6 people? (hide spoiler)] Max was a lot more emotional in this one, but it was so clear to see the character development of her. I read this one super quick, well I listened to it on audiobook, but I was surprised how quickly it took me haha. Proud of myself for actually sticking with this series for once. I will make it to the end this time! I promise!

Somehow Dylan, Angel, Fang and Max manage to survive... Is it because they have gills? And how aren't they totally knocked up about the rest of the flock, Martinez, Ella etc etc?

How is Martinez even alive? Wasn't she on the island too??
I'm so confused. That was the worst ending to a series. Bleh.

Review: What was that? I don't even know. So many far-fetched ideas in this one. I feel like the start was just a replay of the last book, with the (view spoiler)[99% group almost replicating the DGers. (hide spoiler)] And then all that weird stuff at the end, like (view spoiler)[them finding their perfect paradise, and them being content to just sit back and let the humans die finally because the virus was unstoppable. And then the sky exploded and the tsunami came and then the 4 of them were left? (hide spoiler)] And somehow (view spoiler)[Martinez and whoever else is still alive somewhere?? (hide spoiler)] What. Me = confused. I'm pleased Patterson managed to write another book a few years later, the proper ending. Can't believe he did that: screw his readers over by saying it's the end and then bringing out another book. Hoping this next one actually explains what happens and is a better ending than this one...

I didn't picture A10103 being a man, more a teenager. I was kind of picturing another Dylan to be honest. And it's getting old how everyone is trying to kill them. Even now? Stop.

And Fang left. Again. This is also getting old, nowhere near as emotional as it used to be.
