One little point: If her wings span 13 feet, that means that both wings are around 6.5 feet long... And she's 14, so she won't be tall, and even if she was she couldn't be 6.5 feet... So how the heck do the wings just 'fold' against her back? Wouldn't they drag on the ground behind her??

Actually, if you read later on he's basically an adult now but he is 7 or something like that. Max mentions later on that he should be in second grade. The transformation ages you.

I never thought about that with the wingspan! I thought her wings were a lot longer. Yeah, the folding makes no see in my head but now that she has smaller wings than I thought I can see it. (hide spoiler)]

Review: Alright I lowered the rating this time around... Actually dropped it 2 stars, so rather than 5 it's now 3. I think I finally got over my euphoria of this from when I was a tween and read it for the first time. I really don't think it's worth 5 stars now. I have no idea how many times I've read this book. Definitely at least 5 XD The fact that the oldest of the flock is only 14 makes it kind of unbelievable. And the way they were (view spoiler)[experimented on as children (well younger children) and now they still act like spoilt brats when they don't get what they want? (hide spoiler)] Don't really understand that. And the (view spoiler)[fact that Angel gets so caught up over a bloody bear. I mean, I know she's 6 and all, but all that shit over a soft toy.... (hide spoiler)] I am pleased that it's Angel who has (view spoiler)[all of the powers though, not Max as is typical of main characters. (hide spoiler)] There was definitely some weird stuff in this book. A lot of stuff happened! I loved the bit with the (view spoiler)[hawks, and how they came and stormed the School too. No idea how they communicated that message over, but anywho. (hide spoiler)] Maybe this time I'll finally finish the series :p

And (view spoiler)[SS is Super Series. Where the books we read depend on the dice we roll. So for example at the moment we're on Spot 22, so we either read second in a series or 22nd in a series. So assuming we land on 30 and 40 and 50 and 60 and 70 and 80 (I think there's 8 books?) I'll keep reading this series.

I don't think my thoughts have changed that much in a year, I've just opened my mind up to the fact that it's not as good as my younger self continues to force myself to believe. It was one of my favourite childhood series, even though I never got to the end. (hide spoiler)]

You would think the new Max who I'm surprised doesn't hate herself because she looks like someone else, hasn't researched Max. Angel should be able to tell what's wrong right away...

Final Thoughts: Well, that wasn't as good as I hoped. I enjoyed the first book better. Patterson continues not to give direction to his characters and stories. Everything goes so fast in such an organized way. He can not organize his story or write a correct story... I was interested in where the Flock were heading and what would happen next. Honestly, the twists and turns were ridiculous but I still want to know what happens in the end. (hide spoiler)]

These books are all about adding new random shit to the storyline. It just gets crazier and crazier. The first 3 are generally the favourite with the audience though.

And (view spoiler)[It seems like in this book they're really trying to pair everyone up to make the others jealous. Well, clearly Fang with Lissa and Max with Sam for that reason. Iggy just has Tess coz he's awesome.

Review: Gave this one 4 stars. Compared to the first one, this was boring. I feel like nothing at all happened in it, and what did happen happened at the end. It was just as unbelievable as the first one, particularly (view spoiler)[Total talking.... (hide spoiler)] I liked the way they (view spoiler)[went to school though, and had romantic interludes.
