Change a book cover image

I tried creating a new edition with only the new and lighter cover image and the required data then merging them, thinking that the new cover would show up, but it does not change the image on the original book entry. I don't want to delete the original book entry. I only want to change its cover then delete the newer edition that was only created to try and get the lighter cover to show. Hope this makes sense.

Fixed.

Normally we don't change book covers, but since this was just a higher quality/clearer image I swapped it out. Might take a bit for it to show up on your author page (those are heavily cached).

Deleted the second edition. On Goodreads, merging means deleting one edition and takes a Librarian to do.

do you own one with that ISBN (9781439123218)? if so, it has likely been re-released with a new cover, in which case we do NOT change old covers. we make alternate cover editions instead. if you can confirm the ISBN of the edition you have, i can make an alternate cover edition for you.

There are two kindle editions for Samantha Young's Fall from India Place, released last tuesday.

Kindle edition cover by NAL is correct, but Kindle edition cover by Piatkus (ASIN B00GFHFYQ2) is not. It should be the same one as the Piatkus paperback.

That is the ISBN associated with it. It shows 2008 Scribner release. I think the image is from the hardcover.

re 25, we can't update/delete covers, as it's against Goodreads policy (because users like to shelve the edition that matches the one they own). But we can make alternate cover editions (ACEs), and you as the author can set the new cover as the default edition. I have created an ACE for your book here:

The cover for the Kindle version of P.D. James' Death Comes to Pemberley should be changed to match the paperback version. I suppose that when the book was re-issued with a new cover, the Kindle version was updated as well. For reference, the ASIN number is: B0060AY6FO
