I follow a few of these collections. I'm excited to see vol 6 of the collected IDW GI Joe run. There was speculation that volume 5 could be the last one as it ended a story arc in the fifth volume that could have been a stopping point.

I'll be picking up the Locke and Key Master Editions.

I'm a little bit interested hearing that Hickman might be writing some Transformer stuff. But I know nothing about the books out there other than the oversize HCs look really sharp.

Damn, those Locke and Key Master Editions look nice. It's kind of the same deal as when the Parker: Martini Edition came out. I've got the regular hardcovers, and IDW did a great job with them. Both the Parker books and the Locke and Key books feel 'deluxe' enough.

Me too. Waiting for a new release date for volume 2. Looks like the end of the month somewhere but not if next week or the last week of the month (Amazon has it listed for release on 5 April, IST is usually the week before).

Perhaps that is in the future somewhere. :) I think they did a Star Trek and Green Lantern crossover series. I really would have loved to pick that up in HC but it looks like it will be TPB only. :(

Yeah they've done ST crossovers with Green Lantern, Doctor Who, Planet of the Apes, and Legion of Superheroes I believe. Not a big fan of the idea but to each his own.

I've been waiting for "Michael Wm. Kaluta: The Big Book", from IDW:


I think it's basically a revised version of "The Art of Michael Wm. Kaluta" from 2008, which came out through Desperado Publishing, who are involved with the new one as well.

It sold out pretty fast, and I was looking for a copy for years, but the copies that did turn up, the prices were ridiculous.

Amazon has the release date as July 12, but I'm getting skeptical, since it's a year and a half past it's original date, pushed back 4 or 5 times. Now the OHC sketchbook collection is getting released ahead of it... maybe it's cursed.

Does any one has any idea about how many Irredeemable Premier Edition volumes are going to come out?

I just did this research so I have some ideas: The series has a finite number of issues at 37. The first Premier is 8 issues and you can calculate from there. However, his other series Incorruptable comes out of Irredeemable and crossover in at least one point I think. That series has 30 issues.

I'm guessing they will publish them separately 4 or 5 volumes for Irredeemable and 3 or 4 for Incorruptable, but there's always they chance they combine them in a couple volumes.

Wait and see unfortunately.

IDW has a new solicit for the next in the Artist Select series. This time it is Bill Sienkiewicz’s work on 'New Mutants' with Chris Claremont and covers New Mutants from issues #18 to #31, along with a New Mutants story from 2003's "X-Men Unlimited" #43.

It's scheduled to release next week (June 8th), so it's not available on IST yet, but should be next Tuesday. You can see it in their "coming soon" section. It's not released on Amazon yet either, just available for pre-order.

Is there any news about the next volume of Sixth Gun Deluxe edition? I can not find any, but I think it is about time they announce something at least.

I saw that the last issue #50 is coming out soon. I would guess the HC won't be far behind.

I thought, since they collect 2 TPBs in one OHC and we already have TPB #7 (issue 36-41) - #8 (issue 42-47) out for sometime, it is time to get the 4th Deluxe OHC. But as you have pointed out, the series is ending with issue #50 (which is triple sized @73 pages), they do not have material to print out a 5th deluxe OHC. So, it looks like, they were waiting for the series to conclude and now they will combine issue #36-50 in one jumbo OHC to tie everything up.
If my guesses and conjectures are correct then, we should get a TPB #9 by September-October September 28th 2016 and a final OHC by Q1 2017 latest (*fingers crossed* may be even by this year end.).
My only doubt is, what happens to the spinoffs that originated from sixth gun! Are they collected in any of the previous OHCs? Since there are 16 issues of spinoff material available, may be a companion OHC!

I saw it was by Moore and I know I've heard people mention it before. The story is about 11 murders ostensibly by Jack the Ripper. Other than listing it as an HC there was no other info I can promise is right. Amazon lists this as being 560 pages and standard hardcover size. That could be correct.

I also just noticed (and added) Jerusalem, also by Moore with a Sept release date. It lists it as a 1200 page novel so it may not be illustrated?
