The Lion's Share Is Omni Press included in this list? I can't see no Sixth Gun deluxe's?

I just realised they also did Gun slinger editions. Any idea when V4 will be out?

I'd be happy to add the fourth Gun Slinger DLX volume to this list. I don't see a solicit out there right now though.

Frustrating...I've been holding off reading V3 until I get close to having V4.

I picked up a copy of Morrison's Klaus. The art looks good just thumbing through it but I have yet to read it.

Donovan | 1154 comments Klaus has gotten a good number of rave reviews. If I was made of money I'd pick it up right now.

The Lion's Share Comes out in January.

Relstuart | 2964 comments Mod
I have Irredeemable 3 slated to come out today on our schedule. Not sure if anything has bumped that down the road at all. I haven't read the whole story yet so I'm guessing there is enough content to get us to four volumes.

message 69: by The Lion's Share (new)

The Lion's Share Yes there are 9 volumes I think

message 70: by Relstuart, Mod+ (last edited Dec 13, 2016 07:42AM) (new)

Relstuart | 2964 comments Mod
There were ten TPB volumes of Irredeemable. If they are printing two of those volumes per book (as it appears they are) there may be one final volume (5?) to complete the run.

Amazon has the release date as 27 Dec. So IST's release is usually a week before (next week).

Donovan wrote: "Does anyone know much about Oni Press? I'm wondering if Letter 44 will ever get the OHC treatment like Image does, or if I'm dreaming..."

D, if they do give it the OHC, and make them similar to the Sixth Gun HCs, you will not be disappointed. They are almost like the Deadly Class HCs, no slipcover but oversized.

Related, anyone heard anything about the last Sixth Gun Hardcover from Oni Press?

message 73: by The Lion's Share (new)

The Lion's Share No but I'm gagging to get my hands on it!

message 74: by Donovan (new)

Donovan | 1154 comments Nice. So there is hope then. Thanks for the info, Blindzider.

message 75: by Reece (new)

Reece (mrrallentando) | 309 comments I thought there were plans for a couple more Sixth Gun hardcovers. That would allow the inclusion of the offshoot stories about some of the characters. Either way, I'd like them to hurry up and announce the next one too. It's been too long since the last one was released.

message 76: by Blindzider, Moderator (new)

Blindzider | 3293 comments Mod
Looking at the remaining number of issues I would agree there will probably be two more with the second only having a few issues of the main story but giving more room for the purpose or whatever else. I tweeted to Bunn and asked but not sure I'll get a response.

message 77: by Ooh_jim (last edited Jan 17, 2017 06:46AM) (new)

Ooh_jim | 251 comments I've just read through the three Master Editions of Locke and Key and I love them. Been looking into the massive oversized editions, but it seems that they have only released the first three volumes. edit: ..of the special edition hardcovers, not the master editions, if that wasn't clear.

I did however find that the first volume is due for a reprint in March. If they're interested in keeping the books in print, I wonder if that means they're planning on getting round to the last three volumes at some point..

I also noticed that the Small World one-shot is getting a "deluxe edition hardcover" next month.

message 78: by Jesse (new)

Jesse A (jaathey) | 332 comments The master editions are the whole series in 3 volumes

message 79: by Ooh_jim (new)

Ooh_jim | 251 comments Jesse wrote: "The master editions are the whole series in 3 volumes"

Yes. These aren't the master editions, they're the special edition hardcovers. Each covers one trade's worth of issues in an oversized (around Absolute sized) leather-bound hardcover.

I see. I guess I thought the Master Editions were the best editions. I didn't know they had released massive single trade books.

message 81: by The Lion's Share (new)

The Lion's Share Having the small world as a hc is a bit pointless for a book with less than 100 pages imo.

message 82: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Boggs (ramkitty) | 91 comments Are you referring to the idw limited deluxe editions?

message 83: by Ooh_jim (new)

Ooh_jim | 251 comments Dustin wrote: "Are you referring to the idw limited deluxe editions?"

I believe so. From what I can tell from google, they only released the first three volumes, however the second volume got some even special-er 'black label and blue label' editions that come in a slipcase with a replica key.

message 84: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Boggs (ramkitty) | 91 comments All the idw limited seem to have 3 levels it's all very small run stuff

message 85: by Reece (new)

Reece (mrrallentando) | 309 comments Side note for those who love Locke and Key: Skelton Crew puts out limited edition replica keys that are pretty cool. A bit expensive for the size (which is why I haven't bought any), but not unreasonable considering the limited run. Most have sold out, but I believe they have done repeat small batches.

I think I've read that Amazon blurb but never dug much farther, possibly because it seems horror related which doesn't generally interest me. That warning of final printing certainly makes me want to pick it up though.

Reece (mrrallentando) | 309 comments Looks like Akira is getting a box set later this year.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/163236...

"The definitive, complete edition of one of the most acclaimed and influential comics of all time, with the original Japanese art and right-to-left reading format for the first time! The science fiction epic that changed anime and manga forever is presented in six hardcover volumes, plus the hardcover Akira Club art book and an exclusive patch with the iconic pill design."

I saw that. It was announced early last year, but no real detail.

I did look online and saw an Italian box set on youtube that looked color.

Wasn't the Dark Horse one right to left? I've got the original epic set, so have never seen the Dark Horse one.

Size wise though - 11-1/4 x 9-1/4! Lovely. I can't wait. http://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/boo...

InStockTrades in the Coming Soon section has a Locke and Key Special Edition supposedly coming out this month. It is a new printing of the previously released oversized hardcovers with issues 1-6, with original scripts and leather and foil cover.

Can someone confirm that this is basically the "original" deluxe hardcovers and the Master Editions are smaller in size but have 12 issues?

message 94: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Boggs (ramkitty) | 91 comments The master editions are the same size as marvel omni i saw a preorder that is 250 pages issue 1-6 which is the first Tpb and it lists a height of 23cm almost 2" shorter than master edition and it is over 100$ Cdn nearing the idw limited slipcase edition price

I'm in for the Transformers vs GI Joe HC, Ragnarok HC vol 2 (really enjoyed volume 1), Don Rosa box set, and perhaps Tom Corbett. I read the Corbett novels as a young teen and really enjoyed them. I didn't know a comic was being reprinted. :)

Nice! I'll add it.

Is anyone reading and collecting the Transformers books? Curious if the Autocracy Trilogy book that just came out is going to/already be included in the IDW Phase 2 HCs?

Looks like the answer is yes, the contents of the Autocracy books are also included in the Phase 2 complete collections. They did something similar with the Cobra the Last Laugh book and the GI Joe IDW complete collection HCs.
