Bookstrider Hi!

I am Gabby and I go by bookstrider here and on instagram (bookstagram). I love reading and talking to others about the books I have read. Thats how I got into bookstagram, after thinking I needed to find others that loved reading and debating books as much as I do. I do my reviews in English on my blog and bookstagram, and have just started to write a few in Norwegian as well.
Looking forward to finding new authors and bookaddicts here :)

Roy Hunt (goodreadscomroy_hunt) | 3 comments Hello, my name is Roy Hunt. I review books here and on other sites. Here I'm mainly going to be looking for reviews for my first book Mutation. I write thrillers with a big-business - bad-science scenario. My first is about pollution. My second is with the editor and my third is presently been written in longhand at a 1,000 words a day. I've discovered how important reviews are, especially for Indi authors. I have reviewed books here and basically now, I review all books I read, especially if they are not by big author names. If you give, you get back (hopefully). Thanks for having me.

James Bisceglia | 4 comments Hello all,

My name is Jim and I was born in 1969. I live in Chelan, Washington. Pizza and golf are delightful! For all intents and purposes I've been off Goodreads for about the last four years. During that time I was writing a science fiction trilogy. The third and final book was just published this last weekend. I didn't read any books during that time as I didn't want to be influenced by other authors. The next book I read will be The Martian by Andy Weir who also was kind enough to chat with me briefly on Facebook. If anyone has any fantastic marketing ideas please let me know! Happy reading!

Stanley Gray | 1 comments Hi, everyone. It is nice to meet such a diverse group of fun, creative bibliophiles. I'm an author trying a hand at being an indie. My pen names are Stanley and B.S. Gray. A Killer's Secret is my newest book, and it'd be wonderful if anyone could review it A Killer's Secret: A Sci-fi Thriller. With writing, character-based stories that touch on important social challenges are what I am drawn to. While I sometimes stray away from conventional genre stereotypes, I like to take complex, flawed underdogs and push them past their limits. When they are the brink of inevitable failure, I like to allow them to succeed.

As a reader, I love good stories with compelling characters that draw me in. I'm always willing to leave a rating or a review for books I enjoy.

message 1062: by Laura (new)

Laura Garner (mysterywench) Hi all -- My first two books were traditionally published but am taking the indie route now with my third mystery, "Ball & Chain." Maddie Maxwell is a small town bad girl-turned-PI with a tragic past. She's hired to find a missing woman; in the process she runs across her own ex, a string of corpses spanning a decade, and a neglected little girl.

Here's the NetGalley link.

I'm happy to review-swap, especially mysteries!

message 1063: by Saralyn (new)

Saralyn Ward | 4 comments Hi everyone! I am new to goodreads, and a newly minted, self-published author! I write primarily in the parenting space, and my latest book is a compilation of expert advice and essays for new moms called The Guide to Survive Motherhood: Newborn Edition. The Guide is a fully interactive ebook, complete with a quick-read format and video content. Over 30 experts in postpartum health and pediatrics answer over 100 FAQs about everything from feeding baby to getting more sleep, from healing the pelvic floor to managing postpartum anxiety. I would SO appreciate a review! Thanks in advance. Warmly, Saralyn

Aaron Smith | 4 comments Hi Goodreaders!

I'm new to goodreads as well but I already love it here! I'm a first time author so goodreads is still a new platform for me but I'm pretty sure I'll have a lovely time here with such supportive authors and readers around :)

Btw, I'm desperately looking for reviewers for my book Meditations of a Hedge Fund Manager (a practical guide for living like a Christian in modern times). I'd thank you a MILLION times for every review! I haven't got any reviews so far so I'd love to share my book with you at any time! Thank you so much!

P.S: I'm a hedge fund manager and have been for ages but now I have decided to share my faith-based insights so that other people can find a better relationship with Jesus in a practical way.

Stay blessed,
Aaron

R | 7 comments Hello everyone!
Introducing myself here.
My name is R Serrano and I just published my first book.
I am interested in writing about many topics but I have a passion for politics. I believe in equality and human rights for all. I am a single woman, a dog owner and animal lover.
I work full time and lead a normal active life.
I've been taken by what is happening in the US political arena and decided to write my book #Basta
Among the genres I read are but not limited to fiction/non-fiction/historical/novels/erotica.
I am humble and learning by doing therefore I appreciate a fair review to my book. Thank you for your support and I will post the book details in the next threat.

message 1068: by R (new)

R | 7 comments Hello again,
Introducing my first book #Basta. I am seeking fair reviews. Each review good or bad, will provide me with the opportunity to grow and learn. I'd like to thank you beforehand for your time and wish you a positive day.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G9TTPS9
#BASTA is a hashtag introduced by Mr. Michael Avenatti the Attorney for Stephanie Clifford AKA Stormy Daniels via his tweets. Basta is an Italian and Spanish word which in English, means ‘Enough! Stop!’
Who is Stormy Daniels and what does she want with President Donald Trump? Why is the President being sued and why is his presidency at stake? $130K is a huge amount of money to be offered to a porn star by the President’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, but why?
Daniels claimed she had an affair with Trump after the two met at the American Century VIP golf competition in July 2006. That end of the week, as indicated by Daniels's, the two had consensual sex in Trump's hotel room. They kept on staying in contact through 2007, since Trump had offered to have Daniels go along with him on NBC's The Apprentice (an appearance that did not occur). Trump, whose spouse Melania had brought forth their child months before the asserted sexual experience, has denied that any illicit relationship occurred.
In this book you, will learn how a Porn Star, Jennifer Clifford AKA Stormy Daniels, was able to stand up to the political state gaining unprecedented headlines by suing the President of the United States with the help of a skilled, well prepared and aggressive attorney, Michael Avenatti. They have been able to shake Donald Trump’s presidency and his personal attorney Michael Cohen, exposing their lies and corruption, cooperating with the Special Counsel Robert Mueller and seeking to depose the president.

Nancy | 14 comments Hi Everyone,

My name is Nancy Fairbrother, and I'm happy to be in this group. I recently published my self-help e-book, and am seeking reviews. My book shows readers how to discover their life purpose using Chaldean numerology, a quick, easy, step-by-step process offering straightforward, accurate information. No guessing, no lists.

The book explains how numerology works, revealing the mystery of numbers. But it demystifies the occult. In keeping with my psychology background, I share a little-known process that instantly eliminates emotional issues and limiting beliefs. If you would like to review my book, I can provide it in the format of your choice. Please email me at nfairbro@columbus.rr.com.

Oh, and I will be happy to return the favor by reviewing your book.

Thanks for this opportunity.

Nancy | 14 comments Hi Everyone, I'm the author of a self-help e-book called "Who Are You? What Are You Doing Here? Where Are You Going? Discover Your Life Purpose, Fuel Your Inner Fire, and Light Up Your Life." A really long title offering an unconventional way to discover your life purpose in 1-2 hours using Chaldean numerology (easy to learn) and offering a little-known process that wipes away emotional issues instantly. I am a retired psychotherapist and used these processes in my practice with quicker and more effective results than any others I am aware of.

I'd love reviews of my book, and I'm willing to provide reviews of your books also. Email me at nancyfairbrother311@gmail.com to get a review copy and to request a review of your book. I'm looking forward to meeting you.

Kennedy Seagrave | 1 comments Hello,

My name is Kennedy Seagrave. I have always loved to read.
I really enjoy true stories and how people have overcome adversity and succeeded in life despite their challenges.

My background is in the fire service. I wrote a book called Backfire about my personal experiences and challenges in the fire service, but also hope to share what I learned to help other people.

It's an exciting story but isn't without setbacks. I realized that some of the fire strategies used in the fire service could be used in life.

Let me know if anyone is interested in the fire service as a career.

Ryan Janz | 3 comments Hello Everyone. My name is Ryan Janz, author of the detective/noir novel on Amazon/Kindle, Boulevard Dreams. The appeal of this group for me is its pronouncement of bringing authors and reviewers together, and so I thought I'd take a stab at joining.

I have had a love of writing ever since I was 9 years old and wrote my autobiography (It was short), and although life interfered since then, I've never lost my desire to write full-time, something I achieved 10 years ago. Through those years I worked at trying to get better, to the point where I finally released my 4th novel in late August. I am currently editing my 3rd novel for a 2019 release. Maybe I'm regressing.

So, I look forward to the posts within this group, whereby I may pick up on something allowing me the chance to improve my writing/editing, and possibly connect with other like-minded people.

Thank you.

Heather Hawley | 6 comments Hi everyone, I'm Heather Hawley and I'm relatively new to Goodreads and finished my first book in June. I can't believe all the amazing resources and ways to connect to the community there are. I was very excited to find this discussion group because I have become obsessed with paranormal romance and embrace any recommendations you might have.

I recently finished reading all of Laurann Dohner's VLG series (Drantos) and am currently reading Drew Jordan's book, Hide.

If anyone knows any good books like Brenda K. Davies' Vampire Awakenings series (Awakened) or anything by Laurann Dohner please let me know. I devoured those books and was left with that feeling we all get of "it was SO good... now what?"

I tried my hand at writing my own this year after receiving upsetting news that I would have open heart surgery in July… so to counteract the anxiety and stress I wrote Imprint and actually enjoyed the experience. Plus, it worked wonders on keeping my head straight. If you have the time and would like to give me your thoughts, I have posted my latest giveaway down below. I welcome any reviews and feedback you could share. Feel free to send me a friend request. =)

I look forward to reading more from this group!

Grab your copy of Imprint from the following providers...

iBooks, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Tolino.

Hello fellow goodreads community. I am new to this whole group chat so bear with me while I figure it out. Looking for suggestions and advice as I navigate. I write in the romance genre. I currently released a standalone office romance in July 2018. It is on the October/November giveaway. I hope to make my December dead line on my work in progress. In my down time I read text books. Ten years ago if you gave me a book on writing code I would have laughed, and declined. Now I can't put the dang thing down! Apparently I love learning new things. If I am not working at my day job, going to my kids sports games (Field Hockey Mom), writing, or reading; you will catch me watching a lecture. I have become geek mom.The Dating Policy

Jennifer (auntpoohreadsallot) Hello everyone. I'm an avid speed reader who loves books. And the authors who write them. I've just found this group and I can't wait to see what all is here. At the moment I beta read for 8 authors and belong to many other arc groups. I always try to leave some kind if review, even just a few words at times. But, if I can't make it past 20% of a book, I take off my currently reading list. Those are the ones I do NOT leave any type of dnf review. If I do finish the book and can't leave at least a 3 star review, I leave nothing. I'm looking forward to finding new to me authors. Btw, I mostly read romance. Some paranormal, mostly vampires. And on occasion a true crime book. Happy Reading!

Hey, hey, hey. My name is Lilith and after a long dry spell, I have recently picked up reading again. While browsing the dark romance genre on Amazon, I came across the Terraway novels and learned that I'm OBSESSED with reverse harem novels. This might be because I'm polyamorous and have two guys of my own.

Anyway, I have a cat, a hedgehog, and I recently started work at a pizza place. I have a blog where I review books and write sexy stories and I'm working on my first novel! I'm looking to review reverse harem books or short zombie novels. I am also looking for tips and advice on how to write better reviews!
