Warren Dunn (warrendunn) | 2 comments Hi everyone,

I'm a software engineer in Montreal, and I've been reading and writing all my life. I've started writing reviews on Goodreads, because I think it's important to get as many opinions as possible to grow as a writer.

I have recently published my third book, the conclusion to a science fiction trilogy.

Hi all,

I'd like to introduce myself :)

After nearly a decade in British Army, having lived in eight countries and travelled to over forty, I left to do what I have always wanted to do; be a writer. I was first published as a nineteen-year-old in the Rheinische Post in West Germany and the Daily Dispatch, in South Africa. I wrote articles for my university newspaper and ran a successful blog and marketing / copy editor for a marketing consultancy. I started writing SCORPION HUNTER while in the army. It is my first novel and set to be published in May 2019.

K.N. Licavoli (knlicavoli) | 1 comments Hi All!

My name's Katie and I’m a newbie here to the Goodreads community. It’s nice to meet you all!

I’m still learning how Goodreads works but so far it seems pretty great. I mean have I been living under a rock or something? I’m a writer & reader & am a bit concerned I haven’t learned about this site before...

But anyway! I like reading pretty much everything. New Adult, YA, Thrillers, Classics, Mysteries, you name it. My writing's kind of the same way, and this year I was fortunate to have my first ever short book published, an N.A. thriller titled Vengeful Hearts.

I look forward to being part of this group & conversing with you all, and if you have any tips for a newbie like me, I’d love to hear them!

Until then happy reading,

-Katie (K.N. Licavoli)

S.I. Taylor (sitaylorwrites) | 1 comments Hello,

My name is Sandra and I'm an aspiring author.
I'm originally from Venezuela but came to the states fairly young. I still have an accent when I speak English which somehow captivates people and piques their interest trying to figure out where my accent is from.
I'm married, have two children, and have a cute little bichon that drives me crazy.
I was a biology teacher, I'm currently in the reserves, and I'm an officer.
I have written a romance book already and now I'm on to another genre. I have recently finished writing a thriller novel titled Guilty Photographs.
I'm now in the book cover phase as I just completed the professional edits of the book. If interested please let me know and I will gladly provide you with a pdf copy.
Oh and please say hello. 👋

vaishnavi (elegyforthedream) Hi! I'm Vaishnavi, a teenager, and blogger who shares her opinions and bits of inspiration/prose. As books have always been a huge part of my life, I love immersing myself in wordly worlds. My favorite genres include anything YA, though some middle-grade and adult are fine too. Amongst YA, I love historical fiction, romance, sci-fi, fantasy, dystopian, lgtbq+, and anything else. My preferred format for reviewing an ARC would be a hardback, though e-book would be okay. I hope to meet new authors and collaborate with them through the next few weeks :-)

I'm Diana, I'm 32 and currently live in Vancouver, Canada. I like to play tennis, I teach yoga and... my cat is famous on Instagram :).

I moved to Canada in 2013 and out of this experience, the hardest I've had, a book has "emerged". My wish is to make anyone's move to another country easier, faster, cheaper and more pleasant... unlike mine.

I appreciate you for being here, for reading and for being open to the world. I believe that by reading you become a better person and you contribute to a better world. Thank you for doing that :).

Much love,
Diana

Emma Hamley | 1 comments Mal Dixon's Moon Diary: Declassified

Hello,
I have written a book to comemmorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission to land a man on the moon. It also tells the story of the Beatles fans who famously broke into Paul McCartney's house 'through his bathroom window'. Whilst it is based on real historical event's Mal Dixon's Moon Diary is also a work of fiction.
It's a humerous work of fiction that will primarily appeal to young adults but will also be of interest to older people who enjoy the British sense of humour.
It has a crisis at Westminster subplot. Westminster's secret wrestling ring where Boris 'The Beast' Johnson gets the 'Reverse Bulldog Manouvre' put on him may be enjoyed by many!

Keith [on semi hiatus] (keithtmccartney) | 4 comments Howdy there, I'm Keith from London; UK.

I'm a hobbyist writer and reviewer, I'm working on some due-date-pending material at present.

Feel free to approach me with anything - I'm constantly working on my review calibre - I do like to dissect things that I read at a detailed level - have a look through my read/to-read for my favourite material.

At present, it's transgressive-fiction, with HSJ/WB/CP being my favourites; but I do also love classic and epic literature like Ian McEwan, P.D. James, George R.R. Martin, and spy works from time-to-time like Jason Matthews/Mark E. Henshaw/Tom Bradby.

message 1250: by Martin (new)

Martin Owton | 116 comments Hi Keith. I'm a UK-based writer with a couple of novels that I'd love to get more reviews for. I have an adventure fantasy novel Exile that you may enjoy if you like George RR Martin's work. Exile was shortlisted for "Best Newcomer" in the 2017 British Fantasy Society awards. I also have a very new contemporary fantasy set in Southampton and the New Forest Shadows of Faerie. I can send ebook files of either if you are interested, just drop me a PM.
