I am 14 of 24 on my picks. I hope to get through 85% of them because I sucked last round. I only did about 50% last month

I fell behind on updating so I'll try to keep these short!

JoJo: ★★★★ - I liked this story because it was break from what I normally pick. The main female character is older and I enjoyed that(was a very steamy read). This is the second book by this author I have read and I can't wait to read the next one.

Sallie(GGirl): ★★★★ - Great action and over all a good mc book. I really liked Lana and how she stood strong through everything. It does have a few grammar errors but I over looked them and enjoyed the story.

Karla(bonus): ★★★ - This was an ok read but the plot was so ridiculous I often found myself rolling my eyes at the characters. I don't plan to continue the series.

Stephanie(bonus): ★★★ - The description says this is an mc series, but I strongly disagree. The POV changed without notice to almost every character in the book and was hard to keep up with. The mc were very weak in my opinion and all the devotion to one girl was absurd (the plot was crazy). I don't think I will read any more of this series either.

MountainKat(bonus): ★★★ - This was a fun light read but I was not crazy with the ending. I like getting an epilogue or at least a longer ending with details and this book just sort of stopped.

Jane(PS)(bonus): ★★★★ - I could not put this book down and finished it in one night! I loved the shifter world Michele created and feel in love with all of the main characters. I immediately downloaded the next 2 books and was sad she stopped it at a triology. I wanted more!

~Amy~(bonus): ★★★★ - This was so different and unique! I don't want to give anything way so I will just say this...pirates and hot M/M and a little M/M/M action!! Look forward to the next one.

~Amy~: ★★ - I loved the description of this book and really wanted to like it but it fell way short for me. I couldn't get past the towns strong hatred for the main character simply because of her last name. This was the primary treatment through 90% of the book. I did not like such unreasonable hatred and mistreatment. I would not recommend this book at all I'm sorry.

Donna: ★★★ - I love Scarlett Dawn but this book was different from her normal stuff. This series is a collaboration of authors and they each tell the story of a different character in this one town. The down fall for me is there appears to be no book order so it felt disconnected to me. I enjoyed it but not enough to read more of the series.

Raine(bonus): ★★★★ - A unique paranormal world with wonderful shifters and a little bit of everything. This book was hilarious too and I often laughed out loud. I can't wait to continue with the rest of the series.

Rachel-Goodbye Borders: ★★★★ - I love this mc series!! It just keeps getting better, but I don't want to wait several months for the next one!

Katie(bonus): ★★★ The plot was a bit of stretch but I did like the characters so I think I'll give the next one a try.

Really intense relationship between the two characters, which I liked. And the increasing thaw in Alex's icy personality was a good contrast to Sutton's sunny disposition.

Debbie: ★★★
I liked the suspense aspect to it but felt that it was a bit misleading. The suspense is broken up by a significant span of family bonding and revelation as one of the main characters struggles to regain their memories. But a good set-up for a series I am interested to read more about.

@ ~KarenH~: was ★★★½ . I enjoyed it and I love that this author tackles sensitive subjects like slavery but she writes with sensitivity.

@ Jennifer: was ★★★. It wasn't a page turner for me but it was enjoyable. I thought it was overly long though.

@ Breann: was ★★★½. It was good but not as compelling as book 1. I am really anxious to see what happens in book 3.

@ Fleurette: ~ Better Homes and Hauntings was a disapppointing ★★. It was expecting the humor style in Half Moon Hollow or her other PNR series. this one wasn't funny or really interesting.

Krissy: ~ Midnight Games was good. ★★★½ was good but considering the stuff I've been reading, this felt a lot better than it probably was, LOL!
I did enjoy Trevor and Isabelle though.

Raine: ~ < It Ain't Me, Babe ★★★★ was second only to Shadow's End . This book was gritty but so enjoyable. Cult and biker in one book is not for the squeamish readers. I am definitely getting more from this author.

♥KathyD♥: ~ Shadow's End slayed at ★★★★½. Definitely the best thing I've read in 2016. It had the "I want you but I can't have you so I am crawling out of my skin" kind of angst. YES MA'AM. I was definitely feeling it.

I'm sorry to hear you didn't like . To be honest I also felt disappointed with it and found it boring in some parts. But many other people enjoyed it so I took a risk of recommending it to you. At least you could cross it off your tbr list and that's always good thing.

Ezi(bonus): ★★★★ - This was a good fighter book with a sweet romance. I don't see myself rereading it but I did enjoy it and would recommend it.

Rachel-Goodbye Borders(bonus): ★★★★★ - I can't believe I waited so long to read this book! I loved it!!! I'm itching to read the next two but hopefully will get them picked in the next challenge(or I'll still fit them in lol)!

Emerson: ★★★★★ - Another book I put off reading and don't know why! I loved this story and I'm not a huge NA fan. I loved the author's writing style and can't wait to read the rest of this series, and other books by her.

Martha: ★★ - Well the cover was a big 5★ for me but that was about the only positive thing I could say. I really struggled to finish this one and found the story just hard to get into.

Zara(bonus): ★★★★ - I did not realize at first this is part of a series. You have to start with Sapphire's Russkaya Mafiya series that switches out with her Oath Keepers MC series to understand the characters and what all has happened (personally I think it would have been easier if she left as one series). Great story as long as you know its #5 in a series.

Amy: ★★★★ - Another good fighter book that I really enjoyed.

Krissy: ★★★★★ - I'm just getting into sports romance and finding out that I really like it! This was another great story and one of my favorites this round.

This series is one I continue to enjoy. The fight with Mab was brilliant. It also had a lot of great insight to Gin's childhood again that I really thought was fitting with the story.

First time I'm reading anything from this author. I wasn't as happy with it, as I thought I would have been, but it was a solid read.

Holli - Life As We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer 01/18/16 ★★★
This had some good things, but overall I really didn't like the writing style. I often find books written in diary form to be slightly boring, and I didn't like the MC very much. The plot was good, however. Also I'm usually not so happy with these types of genres, but feel like I need to read them from time to time.

This book had a really great potential. One of the main reasons I didn't rate it higher is I didn't really feel the romance between the 2 MC. Found them to be a slightly odd couple. Maybe it will change with the coming books. I loved Jupe, he was seriously cute.

I don't know if I'll manage to finish other books before this round is over.

It was quite emotional at times. I did think that some of the MC actions was questionable, but I understand why it was a hard decision to make. Although in my opinion I never thought she'd consider not being with Finn. I'm going to check out the next books in the series as well

I finished all my picks for this round - just barely, with only 4 hours to spare! I didn't think it was going to happen this round, the last week or so I had lots left to read! Thank you everyone for the awesome picks - I read lots of great books this round! Here is my update for January:

Group 1:

Stephanie - Divided in Death by J.D. Robb 1.6.16 - I love listening to this series! This was one of the more emotional ones, makes them more intense!

Holli - The Mane Squeeze by Shelly Laurenston 1.13.16 - Fun, silly, sexy! This was the first of the series I listened to - I think it was even better than reading!

Breann - Wrapped and Strapped by Lorelei James 1.14.16 - This was wonderful! I love LJ's cowboys, that the stories are great is just like icing on the cake!

Gea - Siren in the City by Sophie Oak 1.19.16 - Certainly steamy, and that is good! It was a bit predictable though.

Amanda D - Lead by Kylie Scott 1.19.16 - I wasn't sure I was going to like Jimmy as the hero, but I totally did! I do think she was too easy on him in the end, but it was a really good book!

Larissa - The Rogue Not Taken by Sarah MacLean 1.23.16 - this was pretty close to perfect for me! Loved the story and the characters - now I just want the next one!

Sassafrass - Defending Hearts by Shannon Stacey 1.24.16 - Loved this! It was just wonderful and I can't wait to read more!

Nadine - Hope Ignites by Jaci Burton 1.29.16 - Really nice story! The hero did need his butt kicked to get it together in the end, but he came around and it was a nice ending!

Krissy - Taxes and TARDIS by N.R. Walker 1.16.16 - So, so sweet - I loved it!

Karla - All I Want by Jill Shalvis 1.16.16 - I loved Zoe and Parker and their path to each other. But the animals stole the show, as they often do in this series!

Jane (PS) - Our December by Diane Adams 1.17.16 - Oh my goodness - I thought Taxes and TARDIS was sweet?! This one beats even that one! I loved the characters and their journey. Wow, what a journey! Such a short story and I was completely sucked in - so much, I added the next few to my M&G shelf for the next round!

Katie - Blood Kiss by J.R. Ward 1.21.16 - I loved that she gave us a whole new bunch of characters, but didn't leave out the old ones we have come to know and love! I really liked this book and it's characters too! I am interested to see where this series goes from here!

Amy (green fairy) - Visions in Death by J.D. Robb 1.25.16 - Another great Eve and Roarke story! I've already said how much I love listening to this series, so I don't have to say it again! =P

Breann - One King's Way by Samantha Young 1.26.16 - Every book in this series has been a joy for me to read, this was no exception! I just get sucked in and feel everything the characters feel, it is amazing! More great characters and another wonderful story!

Raine - A Dom is Forever by Lexi Blake 1.27.16 - I enjoyed this one quite a bit too. I love it when the tough hero falls so hard!

Ezinwanyi - The Promise by Robyn Carr 1.30.16 - Wonderful, just like I expect from Robyn Carr - just real people dealing with real life and falling in love!

Gea - Midnight Secrets by Lisa Marie Rice 1.31.16 - Classic LMR, but I like that so it works! Great characters, lots of drama, instant attraction and devotion - yep, I'm good!

Jennifer - Wolf's Capture by Eve Langlais 1.31.16 - Not my favorite in the series, it didn't have the same fun feeling. But still good and I'm glad I read it!
