I personally like Dex. A lot of people like Keefe or Fitz for their qualities, but l like Dex. Also, there aren't too many team Dex people out there.

I'm a Dex person too! :) I think because I see the similarities between him and my own best friend (who is also a guy) and can't help but rooting for the sweet kid. :)
But in the end, as long as Sophie ends up with one of the three guys the fangirls will be happy. I mean, it's not like the last book comes along and BAM! New male character that Sophie instantly falls in love with. Right? Right?

He's awesome, but Fitz really grew on me in the third book...although in the other two books I really didn't want him to ever 'be' with Sophie, because it was just too predictable...
I mean, she's basically had a crush on him since day one. And he's just perfect sooo...

And I like Dex. But I definitely don't really ship him as much as I do with Fitz (and he's nowhere near how much I ship Keefe with Sophie!!!)

People shouldn't choose a guy, for example some people are on team Fitz, just cause he's cute, hot or whatever. Looking totally perfect shouldn't be necessary. All three guys are pretty cute anyway. Please also consider more important traits, like personality, how each guy reacts to negative situations, and other stuff like that before choosing team fitz, dex, keefe or whatever.

I totally agree. Fitz isn't even on my radar, I'd rather Sophie go for Dex or Keefe. I think some people don't care about Dex as much because he's not as stereotypically "hot" or "popular" or "cool" as Fitz and Keefe.

Which is why I said "some people" don't care about Dex for the reasons I mentioned earlier, not everyone. However, it'd be nice to hear even more perspectives on the matter. Why do you think he should remain in the friend zone?

Well he seems fairly childish to me and I don't think that he is ready for any sort of relationship like that. From my perspective I kinda saw him as the little sidekick/younger brother and less in the whole situation of actually ever being in a boyfriend/girlfriend situation with Sophie. I don't know maybe if he went on some sort of life changing thing by himself and came back more mature and confident in himself and his endeavours then I think it would be easier to accept the situation but as it is I just can't see him with Sophie Dex in the foreseeable future. Although I would appreciate to hear why you- or anyone else- would ship Dex with Sophie.

I understand what you mean about him not seeming mature enough at the moment. I'm not into shipping but I see him as an option because I can see potential in him to possibly develop into a suitable future love interest for Sophie if he undergoes even more character development. This might not happen, of course, since it's Shannon Messenger that calls the shots here, but I see that possibility. On another note, even if he doesn't end up with Sophie, I feel like he's a character that a lot can be done with (and I do hope Shannon Messenger puts more work into him in the coming book/books).
