I think I'm going to switch out The Darkest Minds series for City of Bones series because I read City of Bones and loved it and want to continue with the series.

Just completed my 2nd series - His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman - The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman. While I appreciate the complicated world the author created through this series, I do not agree with the underlying premise. Particularly in the 2nd and 3rd books in the series, he seemed to be shoving his characters towards his own worldview, and the story suffered for that. Overall, not my favorite series, and am rating this final book 3 stars purely for the effort placed into creating and completing the series.

Legend was a really good book! I'm not going to say great, but I really enjoyed reading it. I read that book when I had not read a good book in a while, so I particularly enjoyed it. It is written well and has a great plot. Have fun reading it!

I am so grateful for this challenge you would not believe! I had so many series started that I have been holding back on starting new series in order to not be overwhelmed by unread books. I am thoroughly enjoying finishing some series up all in the knowledge that I can start some new great ones! I can't remember what my original goal was but I've so far completed 3 series:

- Daughter of Smoke and Bones Trilogy (3 books in series) - 2 completed prior to challenge start - Dreams of Gods & Monsters read
- Jessica Daniels Series (7 books in series) - 6 completed prior to challenge - Behind Closed Doors read
