Sean groaned. Sounds like we both lost our tempers. Jeez... What did Ellis say? Did you hear before that I punched him?

Yeah... He was saying that you were "unfortunate enough to love him" and that he hadn't done anything to you... And I punched him. Would've done more than that, but I think he made me think that I didn't want to. Ba*****...

Ellis enjoyed his job in the video room and really hoped he'd get to see something exciting.
Sean looked up at the video camera in the corner of the room. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back. I hate to admit it, even to myself, but... I'm scared. For you, and for myself. I've felt safe for so long with this job... then I meet you and I ruin everything, and I don't know what's going to happen...

Ellis wondered how long it would take Gwen to tell Jack that they should act quicker; he'd heard her arguing with someone only moments before and knew it wouldn't be long.
Sean shook his head. No! You didn't-- I'm glad I met you! It was what I'd always been waiting for. I don't know what I was planning to do when I found someone like me... It wasn't this; I never planned on kissing that person, but... I didn't know what I'd do. I assumed we'd try to escape together, but I didn't know how...

Gwen burst into Jack's office. "They are talking! You know it Jack, we can't let her go unpunished."
Jack looked up and nodded calmly. "Yes, I know... and she will be," he smiled darkly. "The new prisoner is awake... but part of the punishment will be them not knowing how long they have. They could have a few moments, or hours... and they don't know who will be punished, either. Trust me, darling, that will be torture enough for them."
Sean sighed. I don't know who to blame. Do you believe in Fate? I think it must be a cruel thing if it exists...
Two men entered Sean's cell and dragged him out. Two others did the same with Salem, and each ended up in a dark, dank smelling room together. The men laughed darkly as they threw the prisoners in, and one said, "The boss is deciding your punishment. You're to wait in here."

Shadow smiled serenely, even as she was thrown into the room. No. not Fate. But I believe in God and he is not cruel. There is a reason to this, a silver lining to this gray cloud.
Jack smirked a little. "Did I mention that I've discovered something that can take powers away? Only for a short time; I haven't developed it yet... but it is in that room with them. They'll both find their powers draining away as we speak."
((If that's okay...))
((If that's okay...))

A smile tugged at Gwen's lips. "Great."
Ellis watched them through the camera.
Shadow sank against the stone.
((Okay. Thought so. XD))
Jack chuckled.
Sean felt around and took Shadow's hand. "I can't hear you anymore!" he whispered to her.

"I can't hear anyone." Salem squeezed his hand. "I can't do anything anymore."
Ellis laughed. "Awesome!"
(('S okay. I was going to be on the phone, but I had to leave a message instead 'cause the person I was calling wasn't home.))
He shook his head and sighed. "I didn't know they could do that... This sucks." He thought to himself that this was the first time he had actually talked to Salem out loud.
Jack watched with satisfaction. "Perfect... It will wear off, though, very soon. We have a few hours, maybe less. It depends on how soon they begin to fight it, and how hard they can fight... but for now they are helpless."

"I didn't know either. He must have filtered his thoughts well." Now that she heard his voice, she liked it. A lot. "Do you think it's something we could..you know suppress?"
Gwen nodded. "Maybe they won't think of it."
Sean shrugged and sighed. "I don't know anything about it. If we could find what was doing it... we could try to make it stop working. I don't know. For all we know it could be someone's power doing it..."
((I'm actually thinking that could be what it is. Like Rogue in X-Men, you know? Except the person doesn't have to touch his victims. And he kind of absorbs their powers, and drains the people of them for a while.))

Jack nodded at the camera. "They're smart," he admitted, "They're already guessing."

Gwen nodded. "We knew they'd guess."
Ellis hit the desk. "Frig, I was looking forward to more."
Sean bit his lip, shaking his head. "Well, what we do know is that they are very angry with us, and they want to 'punish us'. So... whatever we do, we need to try not to be all scared and panicked, because it's not going to help. We just need to stay calm and wait."
Jack shrugged. "Yes. But they can't do anything about it, anyway."
Jack shrugged. "Yes. But they can't do anything about it, anyway."

Gwen nodded again. "Right. For now."
Sean tried to see her in the dark. He sighed and put his arms around her in a hug. "Yeah... but it's easier with someone, right?"

His head snapped up and he looked around. "Where?" he couldn't see anything in the pitch black.
Sean let go of her and stood, offering her his hand.
Sean smiled a little and walked around the small room, keeping his hand on the wall, trying to find someone. He heard no footsteps, no breathing, but he went around the room, searching.
((D'you wanna be the person or should I?))

((What has happened? Pretend Lydia had went into a corner and meditated while this (whatever it was)was happening))
"I'm Alive!" Lydia excalimed after four hours of meditating.
((Well, they're in a different cell now. Kind of a dungeon-type place. They're in big trouble 'cause they kissed. XD))

"Where is everybody?" lydia asked herself, looking around.
Then she disapeared because there was a sale at Krispy-Kremes.
((See, there's this one guy who may or may not be sort of in love with Shadow, and he got mad when Sean kissed her, and he's one of the reasons she's in a cell. And her parents are keeping her prisoner, and they came to talk to her and then they tasered Sean and put him in a different cell, then they put them in a cell together and there's this other person who's taking their powers away, and they're going to be punished. *nods* It's a mess.))
((Yeah... It's crazy. I really don't know how to help you out. Ask Kenny.))
((XD Okay. Bye again. Good Night! Gute Nacht! Buenas Noches! Oidche Mhath!))

((So... I'm thinking that the person is in sort of a safety glass room, separating him or her from Shadow and Sean. D'you think that works?))
Sean found no one, and no other doors or windows besides the one they had entered through, so he went to the center of the room, one hand in front of him in case there was something there.

Once in where she thought was the centre, Shadow kept her arms held in front of her, bracing against any potential impact. Her fingers collided with cool glass.
((Okay, cool.))
Sean touched glass, too, and he sighed. "Well, then. I'm afraid I don't have supernatural strength, so I'm not even going to try to get through this."
