Riviera got seats by the fireplace which didn't seem at all out of place in the cozy shop.

Zack came back and sat across from her, handing Riviera her tea.
"Thanks Zack," she beamed, holding the warm cup between her hands. It felt really good.Leeland would kill her if he ever found out.
"Anytime," he answered, smiling at her.
"I might hold you to that," she stated slyly, sipping her tea.
Zack smiled at her and raised an eyebrow.
Zack shook his head, smiling slightly. "No, I do," he said. I just hope you mean it.
"Good, cause I mean it," Riviera said seriously. "I hope you're willing to take up the task."
"Great, 'cause I need a friend. Guess you're stuck with me now."
Zack smiled. "That's fine by me."((I LOATHE my best friends right now...))
((why?))"Oh is it?" she smiled happily. That's a relief.
((Oh wow...I'm crying right now...Because my "friend" is a shallow slut and that's all she'll ever be...))"Yeah," he answered simply.
((Aw! What did said "friend" do?))Riviera just continued to smile softly as she sipped her tea, watching Zack and the fire alternately.

Dani laughed humorlessly. "Does taking care of four kids, two grown adults, one usually drunk, the other out of it while having a full-time job count?" she smiled faintly, "Other than that...I love aquatic sports."
Declan nodded mulling that over"And you're still sane?" he laughed. He personally thought that word was the oddest thing. "Yeah I think that counts as a superpower."
"And sadly, I doubt you can say I'm sane."
"Same for me. But what can you do? Same is a relative term." He chuckled and his eyes glinted.
