Martina the Book Fairy (book_fairy) | 442 comments I've been reading extensively in fantasy, PNR, UF, romance for years now so I've read a lot out there. However, I'm always looking for more and haven't discovered anything new and awesome the last couple years. So, what's the best - only the VERY best - you've read the past few years.

Here are some of my favorite series - just to avoid repetition:

- Celta series by Robin D. Owens
- Harmony/Rainshadow by Jayne Castle
- Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews
- Others series & Dark Jewels series by Anne Bishop
- Night Huntress by Jeaniene Frost
- everything by Richelle Mead
- everything by Kristen Ashley
- everything by Anne McCaffrey
- everything by Mercedes Lackey
- everything by Nalini Singh
- everything by Shelley Laurenston
- . . . and so many more.

Hit me. What's your best of the best?

Bethyboo ღ The Book Addict ღ (atheniax) | 26 comments So one of my all time favorite series is The Fae Chronicles by Amelia Hutchins. I love this series. There are 4 books out right now though it is not complete.

Another one is Dark Light by S.L. Jennings. Its a total of 3 books and its complete.

Deep in your Veins by Suzanne Wright is another one i deeply enjoyed. The first 3 books focuses on the same characters while the 4th one focuses on side characters from the first 3.

I recently readThe Dark Elements by Jennifer L. Armentrout and i rather much enjoyed it. Shes also the author of the Lux series which i also enjoyed. I like her writing style.

Michelle Tempted By Books (michelletemptedbybooks) | 195 comments I started to get worn out on PNR and UF so I have started to dip my toes in the mystery and Sci Fi genres. I have found that I REALLY enjoy

Haniccol | 3 comments Have you read everything by Shelly Laurenston's that she's written with the name G.A. Aiken? If not, I would start there.

Also, look into Patricia Briggs or Eileen Wilks. Both are great but they're more UF with little bits of romance thrown in than PNR.

I'm stuck in a reading rut right now and trying to find something so I'm stealing a few ideas off of your list, since I've read and enjoyed a lot of the same books.

I keep putting the Fae Chronicals on my TBR list, then taking it off, I can't remember why?

Thanks for the rec, Cindi! I like both the Shifter series and Chicagoland Vampires and have read all of those, but Human Vampire is new to me. I just bought the first one from Amazon and can't wait to read it!

message 15: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie Check out Connie Suttle's Blood Destiny series. Vampires, werewolves, witches, demons, it has it all and morphs into even more. The series is great and the spin off series are just as good if not better. And every book is free with kindle unlimited!

Mya | 20 comments There are so Many wonderful Authors

Chloe Neill• is my favorite new obsession. with Chicagoland Vampires Series. I am waiting for the next book now.

Christine Feehan• of course. She has several long standing series that are highly sensual and has a lot of action. She has the Dark Series which is second to my favorite Ghostwalker series. The Leopard series is my third favorite then the drake sisters.

Nalini Sigh• is another favorite. The ArchAngel- guild hunter Series and my favorite series Psy- Changeling are addicting

Peter V Brett• Warded Man series is very long but addicting. I warn you this is no romance but a very intense real scifi book but its good.

Jennifer Ashley •Shifters Unbound Makes me laugh and has all paranormal excitement in a story. My favorite character is the honey badgers

Evangeline Anderson• She has 2 series that I read now but if you want more sexual content she is the one

Laurann Dohner• speaking of raw sexual content her Species books are 10 on the Richter scale. But if you don't like a bit of me Tarzan you Jane don't start it.

Ann Bishop• The series The Others is good too! Actually is one of my favorites. But don't look for sex in this series

J.D Tyler• has a wonderful paranormal series on wolves if you like governmental interference and military fights read this series

So many I can go on hope this helps a little

Lois McMaster Bujold - The Vor series (si-fi)

Kevin Hearne - Iron Druid (though I did not much like his last one)
Ben Aaronvich - Rivers of London series
Benedict Jacka - Alex Verus series (a lot like Dresden, but shorter)
Angie Fox - Biker Witches
Karen Chance - Cassie Palmer

and if you like short, humorous paranormal sexy romance, try Eve Langlis. Best bought as ebooks. Fragile Freakin' Flower and When an Alpha Purrs are two of my favorites

Robyn (rsb1105) | 8 comments Victoria Danann's Knights of Black Swan Saga. Book 1-My Familiar Stranger is FREE! Great characters that draw you in so that you begin to feel that you are part of the story not just an observer. Its highly recommended that you read the books in order. Book 8 releases in March.
