Bethyboo ღ The Book Addict ღ (atheniax) | 26 comments Im looking for a new book series to read. Im not too picky about if its vampires, fae, angels or anything like that. Though i am picky about there being romance in it. No love triangle. The guy should be possessive and a hottie of course. The girl doesnt have to be a full on bada**, but she shouldnt be a complete pushover either.

Hope to get some help!

Michelle (quill_n_ink) | 107 comments I absolutely love Elemental Mysteries series, starting with A Hidden Fire (Elemental Mysteries, #1) by Elizabeth Hunter . Four books in this series, now complete; several spin-off books for supporting characters, which I also love!

Another PNR/UF series by the same author is the Irin Chronicles, starting with The Scribe (Irin Chronicles, #1) by Elizabeth Hunter . Three books in this now complete series.

Cliffies and a roller coaster of emotions in both series but eventual HEAs.

Both series are on my "EPIC LOVE" shelf for a reason.

I cried my eyes out with The Scribe (Irin Chronicles, #1) by Elizabeth Hunter
Great series!

Karen ⚜Mess⚜ | 49 comments I just finished the 3rd book of the Fae Chronicles. Talk about hot sex! rawr! Fighting Destiny (The Fae Chronicles, #1) by Amelia Hutchins Taunting Destiny (The Fae Chronicles, #2) by Amelia Hutchins Escaping Destiny (The Fae Chronicles, #3) by Amelia Hutchins Seducing Destiny (The Fae Chronicles, #4) by Amelia Hutchins

One of my absolutely favorite series is Charley Davidson books by Darynda Jones. Funny as hell and characters you can relate to. Beautiful love story. First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson, #1) by Darynda Jones Second Grave on the Left (Charley Davidson, #2) by Darynda Jones and so on...

Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews is my all time favorite, but there isn't much hot romance in it. Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews Magic Burns (Kate Daniels, #2) by Ilona Andrews etc.

Cindi (ourtrumpcard) I just finished A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1) by Sarah J. Maas , which was 5 stars for me. Only problem is its the 1st in a series,,,and the second one isn't out yet :(

If you like a bit of strange in your stories, I highly recommend the Human Vampire series by C.D. Hussey. La Luxure Discover Your Blood Lust (Human Vampire #1) by C.D. Hussey

The relationship between the H/h is slow to start but give it a chance. It's worth it, IMO. ;) In all of the books I've read, he is one of my favorite heroes, she's one of my favorite heroines and together they are one of my favorite couples. Hope you enjoy this series as much as I did!

Elizabeth Wheeler | 386 comments I don't know if you've read the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews, but it's really good. The main character is a strong woman who becomes involved with a shape shifter who is gorgeous and devoted.

Elizabeth Stephens (elizabethstephensauthor) | 6 comments Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #1) by J.R. Ward (Obviously) For a YA read Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee though it wasn't quite hot enough for me. Population by Elizabeth Stephens and my new favorite Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost though I've only read the first one in the series

Nicole | 85 comments Elizabeth-

For YA, check out Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead .

Thanks Nicole! Are the other two you've recommended NA or Adult?

message 20: by Bigbooknut (new)

Bigbooknut | 5 comments I'm not Nicole, but I can tell you that the Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole is meant for adults, but is not erotic. The Demonica series by Larissa Ione is also adult and it is erotic.

Thanks! That's seriously helpful. I'm just making the transition from YA to Adult/NA and am loving sexual tension without the entire book being about sex. There must also be some semblance of plot.

Nicole | 85 comments I need recommendations for books with demons. GO!

message 23: by Bigbooknut (new)

Bigbooknut | 5 comments Off the top of my head, here are some series that feature demons as hero and/or heroine: Larissa Ione's Demonica series, Eve Langlais' Welcome to Hell series, Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld series, Diana Rowland's Kara Gillian series, and Michelle Rowen's Living in Eden series. Oh, and I recently read a book in a series that's just started, and really enjoyed it from start to finish. Suzanne Wright's Burn (Dark in You #1). Now I'm impatiently the next book in the series. Hope these suggestions help.

Rae | 39 comments Recommend Dead Witch Walking (The Hollows, #1) by Kim Harrison : The main character of the series, Rachel Morgan has a great heart, is courageous, loyal and adventurous but VERY flawed.

This is a series, with 13 books, where you watch the main character(s) and the romance(s) grow/develop and become more mature.

Lots of adventures and you'll run through an entire rainbow of emotions.

Happy hunting.

Rae

Hi J.D. The series completely ended with the 13th book. It had an epilogue that shows how everyone's adjusted 20 years later... (Similar to The Harry Potter Series) If you haven't made it to the 13th book, then you ABSOLUTELY must finish the series. Everything starts coming together around the 11th or 12th book and the 13th book provides a nice neat bow to end the series. (She left no character unfinished.)

Aden Lewis | 2 comments I have a new series that just came out on kindle. Heart of the Pride Heart of the Pride by Aden Lewis My second book of the series Shamaness of the Pride will come out the end of this month. Everyone that has read it so far tell me they like the story.

Katie Jaros (katiejaros) | 33 comments This may have already been recommended earlier, but I am a HUGE fan of Anne Bishop's The Others series. I'm on book 3 right now-- and totally sucked in. It's Shifter/Human conflict focused- with a really sweet romance that takes it's time blooming. The main character, Meg, is super relatable-- and I'm in love with Simon- her wolf-shifter love interest. HIGHLY recommend! Sorry I don't have a link here- still new to Goodreads and figuring it all out.:)
