For task 25.4, book 2, there's a specific Wikipedia list that's supposed to be used to determine which continent a country is on: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...

On that list, the Cocos (Keeling) Islands are listed as a part of the Asian continent, so book 2 must be set in Asia, not Oceania.

Task 25.9 requires that the letters H I P appear in the title (not subtitle or series title) of each book. Neither Kitchens of the Great Midwest nor Stone Mattress: Nine Tales have HIP in the title so neither book will work for this task.

Task 5.1 requires a book that includes a natural disaster. Wild Heat appears to involve forest fires set by an arsonist. Arson was specifically not allowed in post 28 of the help thread.

Task 30.10 requires that the two books combined have a total of at least 500 pages. The books you've linked to have a total page count of 488 pages.

Please see #12 in the Posting Requirements:
12. It's fine to include more than one newly completed task in a post. If you do include more than one task, the tasks must be listed in numerical order, lowest to highest.

This makes record keeping much easier. Please repost with your tasks in order.

For the SRC, the moderators use physical copies of books to verify page count for ebooks. Although there is a paperback listed for Running with the Wind, there is no page count information listed on Goodreads. It is up to the challenge participant to resolve issues concerning page count before claiming a book for points. You can have a Goodreads librarian research the page count and update the Goodreads database by asking here: Anyone with librarian status....

After the information shows up on the paperback's main page, please repost this task in its entirety to claim your points.

No need to repost any of the other tasks in this post. They have already been recorded.

Task 15.7 requires that the total number of pages be found in the first publication date of that book (not the edition). The hardcover of The Death of Bees you linked to was Published January 2nd 2013 by Harper (first published 2012). Since it was first published in 2012, all the page numbers must be found in 2012 so a 320 page book will not work.

No, I have all your 5 pointers, so that's 50 points. Then I have:
10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, 10.9 = 70
15.3, 15.4, 15.5, 15.8, 15.10 = 75
20.1, 20.3, 20.5, 20.6, 20.9 = 100
25.1, 25.3, 25.4, 25.5, 25.8, 25.10 = 150
30.1, 30.2, 30.3, 30.6, 30.8, 30.10 = 180

50 + 70 + 75 + 100 + 150 + 180 = 625
