Connor and Fallen Catalyst

[Connor]

"You okay?" He asked her.

[Fallen]

"Huh?" She asked, falling silent. Kyla hadn't heard what he said. She looked up at him, biting her lip.

[Connor]

"Are you okay?" He asked her again. "You were taking to yourself."

[Fallen]

"Oh. Yeah. I'm fine. I talk to myself a lot. I warned you about that." She reminded him with a shy smile. Kyla looked back down at her laptop screen.

[Connor]

He nodded. "Okay." He returned to his book.

[Fallen]

Kyla started talking softly again as she read through an article.

[Connor]

He occasionally looked up at her.

[Fallen]

Kyla didn't notice. She was off in her own world.

[Connor]

He close his book and got on his laptop.

[Fallen]

Kyla glanced up at him before back down at her laptop.

[Connor]

He went on the Internet.

[Fallen]

Kyla sighed. She kept reading.

[Connor]

He looked through the news articles.

[Fallen]

"I think I found something." She said softly.

[Connor]

He got up and sat next to her.

[Fallen]

Kyla highlighted a few lines on the article she was reading and showed it to him. She bit her lip, reading what it said again.

[Connor]

He read the hi-lighted parts. "Where was this reported?"

[Fallen]

"Other side of town. Two days ago.." Kyla replied softly.

[Connor]

He nodded. "Anything else since then?" He asked her.

[Fallen]

"I haven't found anything more recent yet. But I'll keep looking." Kyla replied. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair.

[Connor]

He nodded. "Good job." He kissed her cheek.

[Fallen]

"Thanks." She said with a smile, blushing lightly. Kyla closed that article and searched for more.
