He went to the bathroom and got her a cup of water and brought it over to her.

Kyla slowly woke up. She opened her eyes and looked around.
"Thanks." She whispered, taking it from him.
"You're welcome." He sat on the edge of the bed.
Kyla took a sip, wincing slightly when she swallowed.
He looked her over. "How are you feeling."
"Sore.." She whispered. Kyla couldn't speak any louder than that.
Kyla nodded. She looked around, grabbing a pen and a pad of paper from her bag. 'There. This'll work.' She wrote and showed it to him.
Kyla nodded. On the paper, she wrote, "so now what..?"
"You rest. I don't want to leave until your back to fighting shape." He told her.
Kyla sighed. "I can fight just fine, I just can't talk..." She wrote and showed to him.
"Talking is important in a fight." He told her.
"I can talk, just not loudly." Kyla answered quietly.
"Does it hurt when you do that?" He asked.
Kyla nodded. "Yeah." She wrote on the paper.
"Then don't do it. We are staying here u Tim you are better and that is it." He told her.
Kyla rolled her eyes at him. "Fine. Whatever." She wrote and showed to him.
Kyla sighed. She stayed curled up in the chair.
He collected all his things and brought them to his car.
Kyla sighed and stood up. She picked up her backpack and duffel bag, which was all that she had with her minus what she kept in her car.
"Okay." He went to colliery the rest of his stuff.
He brought the rest of his stuff to his car.
Kyla walked over to her car, opening the trunk.
He walked back into the room and sat down.
She put her duffel bag in the small part of the trunk that didn't have weapons in it.
Kyla put her backpack in the back seat before walking back toward his room.
He closed his phone and rubbed his head.
Kyla looked at him as she walked in, picking up the pen and paper. "What now?" She wrote.
"I can't drive right now but if you want to, you're free to go." He told her.
Kyla shook her head. "I'll stay till you can drive, where are you planning on going?" She wrote. Kyla was tired of being a hunter alone and was thinking about seeing if they could work together...
"I got tip about something in Chicago so I may go there." He told her. "If you want you could join me."
He nodded. "Yeah. Hunting alone is kind of dangerous."
Kyla sighed softly, setting the paper down.
He stared up at the ceiling then closed his eyes.
She grabbed the glass of water, taking a few small sips.
Kyla sighed. She got up and paced the room.
Kyla was standing still, staring off into space. She was lost in thought.
