That's how I felt about Anita Blake but I am on book 9 of that series. I am also on Poison Promise (Book 11) of Jennifer Estep's Elemental Assassin.

Well, 7/8 isn't too bad for my first run at this. I won't get that last one read...I don't even have a more-than-two-people book in my to-read stack, so I'm going to have to close this one out.
