Ruby walked towards Nick feeling something was wrong. Maybe Raven would know. Raven do you know what's wrong with me? I feel awful sick. Vampires aren't suppose to get sick Making Nick wouldn't sense this conversation by blocking him from reading her for just a little while.

"We need to discuss what we are going to do about everything. More importantly the elders."

Raven smiled, at Ruby when she heard her voice in her head but could also sense that she was blocking it from Nick so that he wouldn't hear what they were talking about. interrupting the boys by saying "We'll be right back---" So that they could talk aloud and not through there minds. Seeing as this needed to be said with words and not just by thinking it. Then waving for her to fallow her. Smiling to herself as they walked. She knew what was wrong,--- or maybe in this case. Right. Knowing it must of just happened, seeing as unlike humans. Vampires got sick right away, and not months after the fact.

Following Raven for some reason she didn't want to leave Nick's side. It took a lot of force to do it. Feeling like she was going to puke up the blood. "Raven what's wrong?" Looking up to at her. The urge to vomit was becoming stronger. Blocking Nick from sensing anything she felt. Letting the puke come out. "Raven i dont feel so good." Her face paled automatically.

Raven pulled out an extra Kleenex she always carried and handed it to her to clean up her mouth and eyes. Patting her back softly as she cleaned up before saying anything. "I can tell.. But it shouldn't last more than a few days. Although I wouldn't reconmand taking any more blood from Nick in that time.---- Ruby. Your pregnant."

Cleaning up herself up. "I'm pregnant?" Asking softly surprise. She knew pregnancy could last from 3 days up to a month. "I uh can't tell Nick. I don't know what he will say." Bitting her lips. "I have to go talk to him" Walking to Nick. "I have to talk to you Nick right now"

Nick had been busy talking to Will about what they thought the best plan of attack would be for finding out what the Elders wanted. And also what the necklace did and why they had wanted it so badly. But looked down at Ruby when she came up to him and told him that they needed to talk. Right now. Looking back at Will with a 'I'm sorry man..' look on his face. Before leading Ruby slightly away so that they could talk in privet without Will and Raven over hearing. Once far enough away they stopped, asking her once they had. "What's wrong? Is the thirst finally kicking in?"

"Well I'm pregnant" Whispering. "I can't um drink your blood. I have to drink human" Whispering ever so softly afraid that he would respond badly. Feeling the sickness come on again. What if something happened? What if he left because he didn't want a kid. "And I am very thirsty"

That- that he had not expected. He had expected her to tell him that the thirst was getting worse. Or that it was finally kicking in and she needed blood now. But that she was pregnant, hadn't even been on the list of things he had expected. Remembering now that he had learned from her father when he had been teaching him how to control himself that woman vampires can get pregnant-- much, much, much faster than it took for a human to become pregnant. And that it could last up to three days to a month at most. Depending on how fast the child grew. But once it was out and she gave birth. It would grow like any human child would. Taking a minute or two to let that sneak in. Reaching out and resting a hand on her stomach where she was already slowly starting to form a baby bump. "We'll fuirger this out..... together. I'll send Raven with you so that you can get some blood in you. While me and Will try and come up with a plan."

Nodding her head slowly not saying anything. Didn't he have anything else to say? "I don't want to leave your side. I want to stay with you and no one else" looking at him. Not realizing she had bump are her stomach already. She didn't want to get upset at him because he would blame on her being pregnant. She thought he would do something else, but not shoe her away from him. She wanted him to be with her every second of the day. This remind her on how her mom act when she was having the twins. For some reason it felt better to be Nick and maybe let him take care of her. "I want to be near you. Take care of me Nick" Looking at him weak and sickly. Pausing some knowing he didn't care looking down slowly. "I thought you would act just a little bit better than this. Its like you don't want the baby. Well I didn't think this would happen. The prophecy said when I was 19. I still have more than a week to go. I thought I was doing the right thing by talking to you. Maybe I was wrong. I want you just forget the whole thing." She felt powerful persuasion go through as she speak. Realizing this was why the Elders wanted her to be a vampire. Her baby was a powerful vampire.

Nick left his hand on her bump but brought the other one up to cup her check. Looking at her sadly, knowing he had said the wrong thing and that she was reacting badly by trying to send him away. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it to sound like I didn't care. I love you, and I'm going to love our baby. Why don't we go back to the apartment and that way you can get blood and we can try and come up with a plan and stuff." He asked as he rubbed a finger across her check softly. God- He loved her so much, he'd do just about anything for her. Even if that meant risking his life to save her's and this baby.

"Nick they want the baby, its really powerful. I can feel the power in me." Looking at him softly. She didn't feel so well. Whether it was from the lack of blood intact or the sickness. She stumbled into some. "Nick I don't feel so well." Biting the inside of her cheek. "You have to go to my parents they will know what to do"

Oh crap--- he had almost forgotten about them still being alive. In this--- alturnet world they had gotten suck into. The only thing was: How do you ask about something like this without causing a big--- mess out of everything? He thought. Wrapping his arms around her waist to help support her, kissing her forehead. "Okay.... one thing at a time. One thing at a time. First lets worry about you and this baby. And then we can worry about everything else, okay?" He asked giving her a slight smile.

"Nick, they will know what to do and how to take care of a baby. After they have 5 us." Her voice was soft and weak. Everything started to spin around her. "Nick can you catch me?" Asking softly feeling her knees collapse underneath. Feeling her eyes fluttered shut. The sickness for a vampire could be worse 10 times worse than a human. Meaning a lot things that wouldn't be normal is normal.

Nick had just gone to assure her that everything would be fine. And not to worry because they would go and see what her parents said and then they'd decide what to do and how to do it from there. But didn't have time to do so before she passed out. Whipping down quickly and catching her just before she would of hit the ground. Starting to carry her back to where he had left Will and Raven.

It took everything in her to curl against him. She was really weak from this. Ruby was breathing steadily. The scent of Nick rushed in her and made her feel safe and sound her baby bump was growing a little more, but soon stopped for that day.

Will looked up to see Nick holding Ruby. Ruby looked really pale and sickly looking. "Is everything okay?" Raven wanted to tell him something about them before they started to walk towards them.

Nick lifted an eyebrow looking at Raven. Having thought she would of told him by now. Seeing as; as far as he knew they were still together unless something had changed and he just hadn't heard yet. Then looked back over at Will. "No. Well yes. But no. If that makes sense. Look we need to head back to the apartment, so that I can get some blood into her so that she'll hopefully be better. We'll explain on the way." He said as he looked down at her in his arms realizing her bump had grown some more already.

Ruby smiled as she fell into a sleeping state, mostly. Her eyes flashed open at the smell of her car. Recalling humans rode in it and the scent still was there. She could feel her heart racing, but at the same time Ruby felt drained. She relaxed against him. Though the burning sensation in her throat made itself aware.

Will nodded his head.

Nick had sat in the back with Ruby across his lap. So that meant Raven and Will were in the front. With Raven driving. Hoping the smell of humans in her car didn't bother her too much. But they had agreed that it would be safer than running with Ruby in her pregnant state. Mindlessly starting to smooth her hair again as he explained what was going on, and finally adding after everything "So.. she's pregnant."

Will nodded his head slowly again. "Okay."

Ruby was began to calm down some when he smoothed her hair. Smiling softly. Then a new scent came to her. It was Will, but what wasn't his scent. Her eyes widen. "Stop this car and get that mutt and that girls scent out of my car" Hissing at him. Ruby never really like werewolves, but being pregnant made her more protective and ready to snap. "You need to tell her to leave before I snap her head off. Or I could hire someone to do that. After all I have the royal guard." She snapped at Will.

Will glanced in rear view mirror. "Honestly you can't tell me what to do or not. Grace won't hurt your baby, if that's what your worried about."

"You must have been away from werewolves too long to realize that they never go too far from the pack. If that pack is close to town I won't stop until I snap every single one of their heads on. Wolves aren't to be trusted."

Will was getting ready to explode and that was saying something because he never got mad.

Raven hadn't missed that he had called her 'Grace' by mistake. Wondering what in the world that was about. And rather or not it was because of the kiss she had seen them have. Or because of something else that she didn't know about. Starting to bite her lip as she pulled the car over. "Maybe its best if you run her back. And we'll bring the car."

"No I'm not letting him stay in my car with that scent." Ruby snapped.

Will looked up and turned around. "Just stop it Ruby no one likes a pathetic brat who thinks she can get her own way whenever she wants to. You are just hormonal due to that little bun in the oven. Grace isn't the problem."

Ruby glared at him ready to snap his head off. She wanted to say something back, but she didn't. The scent of human was everywhere as cars passed by. "Will until you can get that werewolf attitude under control you're not welcome near me and my town."

Nick picked her up in his lap starting to reach for the door handle. Saying "Maybe I should just run her there. You guys can come with the car, you remember the address Raven?" He asked, making a point of saying Raven's name. Seeing as for some reason Will kept calling her by the name 'Grace'. Was their some girl at school named Grace? And that was who he was thinking of?

"No I said no why isn't anyone listening to me. I want him out of my car now." She shouted. "Nick this is my car." Ruby wasn't happy. Werewolves were near and they are not to be trusted one bit. "Nick I swear I'm not letting him in my car."

Nick let a sigh. Then started to say something to Will. "Will--- maybe you and Grace should... go. I can finish driving us to the apartment." He said apologetically. Looking over at Grace hoping she would understand too.

"Nick are you okay? You just called Raven, Grace?" Ruby said slowly. "The reason I'm flipping out is because Will has werewolf scent all over him and obviously he meant a girl name Grace who happens to be a werewolf. Which means werewolf pack is near by. This isn't good. Can you please get me to some vampires you would understand this." Ruby was being protective, but the thirst kept growing.

Nick felt fine. He had done it more as a statement that only Will would get. Seeing as he had called Raven Grace more times that he could count in a single minute. Knowing Raven had also noticed, and not doubting that Will --- if not all of them. Would be hearing about this later. But he'd tell her that in a minute. Finally saying to both Raven and Will. "Out of the car. I'm taking her to see her parents so that we can finger this out. You two can meet me back at the apartment."Sensing her thirst was only getting worse.

Ruby began to relax some she needed blood in her and quick. "Nick please hurry" She begged softly. She could sense everything slowing down. Ruby was afraid she didn't know what was going to happen now. Between wereowolves, the Elders, the baby. It all drove her crazy.

Raven and Will had gotten out of the car as he had requested. And he had gotten in the front and was now driving her to her--- his-- their-- oh who knew? Parents house. So that they could talk and see what they knew about all of this. Hurrying as fast as he could without totally breaking the speed limit. Although he was already going 10 miles over it. Looking back at her in the review mirror seeing her looking worse. Saying "Just hold on, we're almost there."

Ruby smiled weakly. Feeling her eyes close forcing them open. "Nick I want to close my eyes and sleep." She managed to say. She knew better than to sleep because she needed blood in her body right away. She felt her stomach it finally stopped growing for today. Focusing on Nick's voice she was almost home to her parents house. Her face was a ghostly pale. His blood made her really sick. Feeling like she was going to puke again.

((Oh, what was it? If you don't mind me asking. It'll be okay I had mine removed already. You wont remember a thing. And the most that could happen is that you act goofy when you wake up. Or you could get sick from the stuff they give you but nothing more.))


Nick pulled up and stopped. Getting out and opening the back door of the car and pulling her up gently. Before helping her out of the car. "I told you we were almost here." He said hoping that it would loosen the mood just a bit and would make things easier on her. Looking over when he heard the door to the house open.

((I have three out four wisdom teeth. I heard it hurts after and I don't really have a pain tolerance to anything. I know they will be giving me pain medicine to help with it. Thanks that helps a little bit.))


"Yeah you did Nick" Whispering softly. "Could you carry me I don't think I can walk" Ruby glanced up at Nick.

"What happen?" Ruby's dad glanced at her then to Nick. "Son you have a lot to explain here. First and fore most did you give her your blood because that would her really sick and possibly result in death."

((It doesn't really... it feels kind of weird for a while seeing as your not used to them being gone yet. But it doesn't really hurt. Even though you'll just be able to eat soft foods for a while. And the pain medicine really does help.))



Nick flinched slightly when her dad called him not by his name but 'son'. He wasn't really his son. They really weren't even related. Then felt a cold wash rush over him when he heard her father say that giving her; his blood might result in death. Picking her up and starting towards the door. "Move. I need to get her inside."

((You see I don't have my yet. They are partially covered with bone meaning they don't have enough room to come in. Which can cause problems. So right now my whole mouth hurts because they can't come in. ))

Ruby's father nodded his head. "We will get a blood slave up there stat." He said ordering one of his people to get a blood slave.

"Nick I don't want to die" She whispered. "I want to be with you forever" Her voice was trailing off. Ruby had to focus on Nick.

Once they where in the house he took her straight to the closest room in the house. Which just happened to be the room he was staying in. "And we will... your going to make it through this. And we're going to have this baby and raise it. We'll be happy." He told her as he laid her down on his bed. Resting her head on his leg. As he heard the blood slave coming along with the others.

Ruby smiled weakly. "Okay Nick" This made her happy. Her eyes widen at the smell of the blood slave. It walked in mindlessly addicted to a vampire's bite. "Nick could you help me up some." Asking softly it was hard for her to speak or stay awake, but she knew it was important. It had seemed like forever since she had blood from a blood slave.

((That sounds very painful))


Nick nodded. Reaching over and helping her up. Before calling the blood slave over. And ordering him to sit down so that it would be easier for her to drink from him. "There." Holding her steady so that she could drink.

Ruby smiled softly at Nick. Nick made her so happy and she was glad had him. Focus she reminded herself. Her fangs came out and she bit his neck and started drinking from him. Ruby wasn't sure if she could stop not really remembering when the last time it was when she was this thirsty.

Nick didn't worry about rather or not she drained the guy dry. Heck. He'd probably love it if she did. Nick thought to himself as he held her steady as she feed. Trying to see if he could remember when the last time she was this thirsty was. After she had been changed into a human she hadn't had to worry about this. But now she did again. Thinking it had to have been months by now that he remembered her being this despirt for blood.

Ruby finished the human off, but her throat still burned. "Nick I need more." Whispering softly the color in her face returned some though she still looked very sick. Right now Ruby was on a blood high which was to come down from. In reality she drank over a weeks worth of meals in this one human. It felt like she was being drained though and she needed the blood to keep her energy up.

Her father walked in. "You heard the girl get her more slaves. She needs to keep her strength up. Now Nick you remember our discussion. Well this girl will need you by her side. Eventually when the pain starts you are the only one who can make her do anything. " He said and left the room.

By the time slaves came Ruby was partially asleep feeling normal sickness. "Nick I'm tired and I don't feel well. "

When her father had come in the room and had said his piece before leaving once more. He wondered if he remembered that they'd had this talk before everything. Before Ruby had changed into a human. Before her parents had died. Before any of this. But that wasn't possible. Or at least it shouldn't of been possible. But it seemed like it was. Only nodding his head the slightest bit before her father was all the way out the door. Then turned back to her, seeing the slaves coming in a moment later. "I know, baby.. do you think you can drink anymore right now?"

Ruby wanted to drink some more, but right at the moment she felt like she was going to puke her body still needed to get rid of Nicks blood. She opened her mouth to answer, but she then vomited on the floor. Her body was shaking because another round came. After all this her body was weak. It got rid of Nicks blood, but she didn't have any left in her leaving her weak and tired. "I'm sorry" Whispering weakly

Nick could care less about the floor. All he cared about right then was her, and how she felt. "It's okay... the floor can be cleaned." He told her waving someone forward with a mop and cleaning things so that they could clean up the mess of what she'd just thrown up. Pulling her head back into his lap and started to sooth her hair again like he had when they had first came in here. "How about this: I'll call one of them over and then you can take a little and we'll see how well you can hold it down before you have anymore."

Ruby nodded her head meekly. She wanted to speak to him, but she was too tired for that. She smiled softly Nick always knew how to relax her soothing her hair made everything seem okay. It took her mind off of her how weak she felt. Someone mopped up everything and another person came with a glass of blood and handed it to Nick. She glanced up at it her eyes widened. Ruby was starving all the blood she did had was gone out of her system. The blood did smell good too.

Nick nodded as the person handed him the glass of blood and then left the room. Shutting the door half way behind them as they left. Which also blocked their view of the blood slaves seeing as they were out in the hallway. Waiting to be called. Shifting her in his lap so that she was sitting up slightly but still half laying as well. "Here... drink some of this. It'll help."

Ruby looked up at him and smiled a little bit taking the glass of blood drinking it down slowly despite how much she wanted to drink it down faster. Waiting awhile to see if it would stay down and it did. Her eyes glanced up at Nick for more. Half of the blood that she drank went to the baby. Words wouldn't form out of her mouth because she was still really weak.

Once they knew that it would stay down he went and opened the door and called in the first blood slave before going back to her. And pulling her up like he had the first time so that she could drink. And ordering the boy that he'd called in to sit on the bed so that it would be easier for her. Much like the last time as well.
