Nick couldn't help but wonder what he must look like to her. He'd gotten her life, and everything that she had; had before this. If anything she must hate him for it. But none of that really mattered right now. All that mattered was that she was okay. Slowly starting to walk over to where they both were sitting on the ground.

Ruby didn't dare to look up from the position she was in. Looking at the lifeless body anywhere, but at Nick. She knew he was towering over them. Feeling her face go white as a ghost she couldn't do this not now.

Letting his knees go out from under him as he sat down on the ground. Giving Raven a look asking through it instead of words if they could have a minute.

Raven knew that look. It was a look people gave one another when they wanted a moment alone with someone else. Simply nodding before starting to get up so that he could talk with Ruby without her interfering.

Shaking badly. Closing her eyes tightly hoping he would leave. Feeling like she would puke. That jittery feeling was coming back. Being near Nick made her go crazy she couldn't kill him though that would be the end of her. There was nothing she had to say. Raven left and she was alone with him. Gulping quickly

When I asked what happened you never told me what happened. You never told me why I was a human." Pausing some to open her eyes. "And now I can't stop killing it was helping with pain. Then I heard my dead sister's voice and found you have my life." Tears started to pour down her cheeks.

I didn't ask for it, I didn't even know about her until she came up to me in the hall. As far as I'd known I thought she was still dead."

He had tried to do that, but hadn't been able to at the time. Seeing as he had been so convinced that she hated him and wanted him gone. But didn't get to tell her that. Seeing the change in her slowly start to take place. Hearing her blurt out that she wanted him to change her. Could he really do that and still be okay with himself? Would the Elders find out what he'd done somehow and come for him? Or her for that matter? Biting his lip and considering it.

Nick was hesitating about biting her. It was like she wanted him to change her. Right now she needed a new high to take her mind off of killing him. Getting up slowly her heart breaking. "All I did was wanting you to bite there's no law for you feeding off of me." She hissed taking her dagger out of the human. "I have to go" Walking to her car speeding off. Nick didn't want to bite her simple as that. Tears running down her face he didn't matter to her not anymore.

Will arrived upon seeing the leaving car speed off. Seeing Raven. "What happened here?"

For a moment he had thought that she might be getting ready to go after him, like she had the human laying on the ground. And kill him as well. But she hadn't. Instead she had pulled the stake from the body and then had drove off. There was no doubt that he could catch her if he wanted too. The car only went so fast. But he was faster he was sure. But he didn't. Not yet anyways. He needed time to processes. Think things through. Seeing as he just couldn't change her and risk something worse happening. Hearing Will come up and talking to Raven but he didn't turn around. What could he say? Nothing.

Raven sighed watching the car speed off. Poor Ruby, she must think that Nick hated her and regretted her.. when really she could see just from the look on his face he didn't. He still loved her. He just didn't know what to do. Just like she had been able to tell before she had drove off that she was having trouble not going after him. And that was why she left. Because she didn't want to kill him. Turning to look at Will for the first time. "Ruby drove off... and she is the new player in town."

Blocking it all out would be the first thought, but she couldn't. Speeding down the road. Killing herself seemed like the only way out. I didn't want you change me you self-absorbed **** Shouting and in her head as well as swearing hoping he would hear her. She was furious that her own mate didn't even want to taste her blood. Vampires didn't take that to lightly it meant that she wasn't good enough. Driving to the cliff. Getting out and looking at what she should do.

Will nodded some. "I already knew that." Absorbing the scene left behind him. Taking a deep breath feeling the change in the air. "Something is going to happen soon and its not going to be good."

Once he'd heard the first few rocks fall and hit the bottom he knew something, really, really bad was going to happen. Only to see her fall a moment later. Running and then diving off the top, to try and save her. Trying to make himself fall faster. Only catching up to her half way through the fall, and wrapping his arms around her and flipping them over so that he'd hit the bottom and not her.

Raven nodded in agreement. "Yeah, your right... I just hope everything turns out okay."

Feeling her arms go around his neck and then gripping his shirt tightly in her small hands. Wishing he could tell her it would be okay. And nothing was going to happen. But that would be a lie. A very big lie. Seeing as they were free falling from a cliff.

Knowing she wasn't sure if he had or not. Seeing as the wind was whipping by them so fast. Whispering into her ear "Don't look.." so that hopefully she wouldn't be as scared as he could tell she was. Starting to get ready to jump so that he'd land on his feet. The impacket would hurt, and maybe even break his ankle seeing as he hadn't ever needed to test how high he could jump from without breaking anything before. But it would be worth the pain if something did. Seeing as then at least she'd be alive. And anything- any pain- anything. Was worth it if it meant she lived.

Burrying her face in his shirt sent the scent of him rushing through her. Truth be told she was scared about this whole situation, but the urge to kill him frightened her even more. It felt like everything was different between them though and she couldn't help, but feel that it wouldn't be the same. Ruby could hear the wind in her ears. He couldn't really do anything but keep her from hitting the ground right then. Saying to her, "Try to think about something else... try thinking about us." Seeing as he didn't have much more to offer just then. Seeing as they were still falling. And falling faster. Tilting so that they were standing, but only his feet would hit the ground seeing as hers were just high enough that they wouldn't. Jumping slightly moments before they would hit.

The more she thought about them the more her heart ached. They wouldn't be the same anymore and she knew that. Nick didn't even ask to see if she was okay when she was confused. Wanting them to stop everything the pain she felt. Thinking about them made her hurt. "Think about us lets start with the pain you caused me." Shaking. "I can't hold the feeling to rip your head off and plunge a sharp stake through your heart. How about drench you in Holy water and see you burn?"

He didn't need to be dipped in Holy water, or have a stake shoved into his heart, or set on fire so that she could watch him burn away to ash. She was killing him already. And having her shake from either fright or from how upset she was at him wasn't helping the matter any. "Why don't we just survive this fall and then if you still want too. You can do all of that to me and more if that's what makes you happy. Seeing as I would gladly die a hundred times over if that's what it took to see a smile on your face again."

Giving a slight laugh that she thought that he could make everything perfect. If anything, at all could make him laugh in a dire moment like this. That was it. "I know it's not perfect. "How can you laugh at something like this?" Looking up at him she felt her insides breaking in half. "You didn't just screw up Nick you ruined. Nothing is okay between us. Its not funny this is my life and what I grew up in.To walk away without trying then hesitating about my blood? Why should I even let you back into my life? I shouldn't of have to tell you anything. You should already know. If anything its my fault for thinking a human could be a vampire." Glancing down. "I'm sorry, but I guess my dad was right our race shouldn't mix. Now I have a human life" Pivoting tears were about to break through her eyes. Ruby didn't know why he didn't try. She couldn't even explain to him how it felt to see the person she loved everyday thinking he hated her guts. Thinking he ignored her. Not paying attention where she was going she tripped cutting her knee. Swearing a little bit. Trying her best to hold it together. Crying was a weakness and there was no way she could Nick see it.

It wasn't that bad, but it would hurt for a while. Pulling out a cloth and patting the running blood away. Seeing it wasn't stopping, taking the cloth away and licking it clean instead before closing it. "I don't hate you. The reason I haven't said anything to you, for the past couple of weeks is because I thought you wanted your space. Thought you hated me after what happened. And I didn't want to push you into talking to me if you weren't ready."

"Us doesn't exist you ruined that and there isn't anything you can do to be forgiven." Closing her eyes holding her tears in. "I should go don't want you get caught yelling at a human. We wouldn't want you to have to explain yourself to anyone." Walking away more of a limp. It hurt, but she couldn't take it.

It was driving him crazy that she couldn't get past that. That he knew that it was his fault and that it had been a mistake not telling her about, everything that happened let alone talking to her. And here he was; still trying to make her feel better. Despite what he'd done. Then watched her start to walk away wondering if she even knew where she was going. Or if she was just walking to get away from him and didn't care were she ended up. Calling out after a few minutes. "You want a lift back up top so that you can-- I don't know." He didn't know what she did. But if she did, he'd take them back up, and then leave. Seeing as that's what she apparently wanted.

Ruby kept walking hearing something not making it out as she was far enough away out of the human hearing span. Turning to see a small river sitting down and letting tears ran down her face quickly. If she went back to him that would show weakness that he could do anything snd she would always take him back. She was alone again. Wiping her tears. Nick hurt her and she wasn't sure if she could trust him again. Would he hurt her again?

Go after her and see if she wanted a lift up or-- just leave her and go find Raven and Will again. Deciding to go after her, to see if she did or not. Seeing as if he didn't take her back up, she'd most likely have to climb back up the cliff wall. Seeing her at the river down a ways from where he was. Walking up but not sitting down. Asking "You want me to give you a lift back up? So that you can get up there faster..."

Knowing he'd have to be more careful with taking her blood now that she was human. He couldn't just loose himself to it like he had been able to before. He had to be careful to not hurt her. And bite her like he would any other human. If he had bitten any other human. Which he hadn't done. Ever. Tipping her face up to look at him for a moment before asking. "You okay?" Wanting to make sure before he did anything.

Nodding her head slowly. "I'm fine go ahead do it." Urging him to do it. "I don't how many times I told you not to wait to get blood its dangerous to do that." Scolding him some. She could hear her heart pounding not because she was afraid, but because they were so close together. She could smell him as any human could as she didn't have a vampire scent anymore.

Yeah she had told him plenty of times how dangerous it could be to wait that long to take blood. But with everything that had been going on lately he hadn't had much time to go out and find blood. Scrapping his fangs against her neck before letting them sink into her neck.

Vampires always sent out euphoria to humans because they were so delicate. Right now she understood why humans became addicted to being fed on. Though the feeling was even better for her since this was her mate. She couldn't explain the feeling that was rushing throughout her. Ruby's body completely relaxed against Nick. She didn't want it to stop it felt so amazing. Hoping Nick wouldn't stop. A light moan escaped her mouth seeing humans do this tons of time, but this time it was her.

And it would feel even better for her seeing as they were mates and already mated. Feeling her relax against him and then heard her slight moan as he kept feeding from her. Taking more of her into him, as he drank. He should stop soon, so that he didn't cause her to get dizzy or week headed. But she just tasted so damn good.
