Nick- I nod, slightly. "Yeah." I say but didn't make a move to back away either. Wondering if she'd totally hit me or cruse me out if I kissed her. Seeing as I really, really, really wanted to kiss her. Seeing her eyes change slightly. Get more watery... was she about to cry?

Ruby-He saw that I was going to cry. I wanted to back away. "Uh well I have to go" Feeling some bumped into me from behind cursing at me for not taking up to much room. I didn't notice really because my lips touched his. I didn't want to kiss back. My eyes widened some as my lips were on his still.

Nick- Neither one of us had seen who ever it had been that had bumped into her coming. Seeing as I was so lost in her and she was pretty much the same. Catching her around the waist when she feel into me when they bumped her. Feeling out mouths touch, pressing a soft kiss to her mouth. Knowing it was wrong. She thought I had a girlfriend. And would probably hate me for it.. but I couldn't help myself. I had to kiss her.

Ruby- He kissed me I mean I know our lips were already together, but that was an accident. The kiss was sweet as I found myself kissing back. It was like I needed to kiss him and feel his lips on mine. This kiss was like a drug that I hadn't got in awhile and so desperately needed.

Nick- I hadn't expected her to kiss back. In fact I had half expected her to push me away and accuse me of taking advantage of her. Letting my hand run up the middle of her back to cup the back of her neck. I hadn't realized but I had missed kissing her. So, so much. When you went from doing it almost every day to not at all in a flash of one day. It could be shocking. And even depressing at times. To only have someone knock us together--- even if it was unintentional-- I just had to do it. Wondering how far she'd let it go, as I kept kissing her, softly nipping at her lip.

Ruby- The nip on the lip brought me back to reality that I was kissing Nick. It didn't matter he has a girlfriend already. I let myself get close to him and knowing we can never be together kept sinking in I backed away quickly and darted outside to my car and drove off. I felt weird though as I pulled into my Aunts and I ran to my room and just sat on the bed. I felt confused though I know I got up and shut the curtains to make it darker in my bright room. After that I hit the bed as if I had been tired for hours.

Will- I came rushing in the library I had been doing research in the hunter's personal library while Raven was doing research her way. "Nick please tell me you did not kiss Ruby." I said. I had so much to say I called Raven before I came hoping she would meet up here with Nick.

Nick- I had let her go when she pulled away. Then watched her run out and drive away. Thinking that it had been a mistake. Maybe even a big mistake. Standing there for a few more minutes before collecting the books up and going to check them out. Stopping when I heard Will come running up and asking if I'd kissed Ruby. Why would he be asking that? Had he seen it? "Umm sort of---"



Raven- I sigh as I finish up with the research I'd been doing. walking into the library and smelling Nick and Will a few aisle over. Walking in that detection before spotting them and heading down to meet up with them.

Will- "I was doing research on this whole thing. Mainly on how to fix everything. Getting her memories back hasn't been successful on my end." I said looking at the both of them. "Normally when you find your mate you are both vampires. But since Ruby is human and not a vampire which will cause some things to happen to her when you kiss her. This kiss has many names in many different cultures some people call it the Kiss of Death." I said. "This has happened many times." I paused.

Hunter- I was right behind them all. "What Will here is trying to say is she will be two things at once sort of. She might be able to last for at least 3 days tops without thirst kicking in, but once the thirst kicks in it will be long ride. As a vampire your body is built to handle thirst the burning in the throat the smell of blood rushing through you nose. Her body isn't which means that simple pain you guys feel will be 10 times worse for her and deadly." I said. "There is no way to stop it, but we have to get to her and quick."


Ruby- I took a deep breath as I felt really hot. I could feel sweat drip down my forehead. Then I could feel confusion set in. I got up mindlessly I had to find someone ,but who? Was it Nick? That sounded nice where to find Nick thought?. I got out from my room and walked out of the house. I had to find him maybe he be at his house. I kept walking mindlessly not sure where I was going. I was really hot though I needed to cool down anything to make it better. I found myself at a lake not sure how I got here. Maybe Nick was here. I jumped in the water, but it still didn't really cool me down.

Nick- I listen to them looking between all three of them. Nodding slightly. "Okay- we can go to her house. I think she's living with her aunt at the moment.. hopefully there wont be a dozen questions we have to answer. But either way we gotta get to her."


Raven- I had listened to Will and Hunter. As they had told him what was happening and everything. Only saying what I found after everyone was done talking. "Actually- I did find something, on it. But-- I'm not sure you'd want to do it."

Will-"Go ahead say Raven all options on the board, but at the moment we can't do anything until the Kiss of Death is gone." I said.

Ruby- Where was everyone? Wasn't someone suppose to be here?


Aunt- Is this Nick? I'm Ruby's Aunt I was wondering if she was with you none of her friends saw her since school let out. Clicking the send button on my phone.

Hunter- Hearing a noise go off. It was Nick's phone. "We have to hurry the first sign of it is confusion and over heating. It goes off on she could fall asleep and wake up perfectly fine and not remember a single thing." I said.

Raven- "Okay-- well while I was looking up stuff. And everything, I came across the same thing you guys did about the Death Kiss. But they also had sort of a cure for it. It's---- well lets just say it's odd. Seeing as it includes Rose pettels and believe it or not. Holy water. Although it's for this rutural type thing.. and only one person has tried it on there mate before."


Nick- I listen to Raven as she talks but check my phone at the same time. Seeing that it was her aunt, asking if she was with me or if I knew where she was at. Sending back. 'No, we got teamed up 2 do a project & came 2 the library. But she left a while ago... isn't she home?'

Will- "What does that do exactly?" I asked confused because those are just weird combinations. "Did it work?" I asked.

Aunt- No she isn't here and I just don't want her partying anymore she hasn't been for awhile, but I don't know what else she could be doing. As it sent.

Raven- "They thought it did. Seeing as it's suppose to help lessen the pain for the mate that has it. And during the time where they inhale the smell of the Roses and the Water---- the other is suppose to turn them. Make them a vampire, again. But, five days after they did it. She died." I say slowly, knowing there was possibly no chance he'd want to try this. Seeing as the only people that had, their mate had ended up dying five days latter. And I couldn't picture how Nick would be if that happened to Ruby.



Nick- 'Okay, I'll go look for her.. ttyl' I send to her then look up at Raven and Will. "But Holy water is potent to us. Why would it contain Holy Water?"

Will-"In away I guess its plain old irony because the one you love to death kisses you and kills you and both of them in the end feel the same amount of pain." I said quietly.

Hunter- "I wait I have an idea that has more of a chance of working then that. If we give her Nick's blood before she dies and after she dies bite her thats how you normally change a human" I said. "Though it has a better chance it may not work. It doesn't matter we have to get her first."

Will- "You said she was at her aunts house." I said looking at Nick.

Nick- "Yeah, that was before he aunt texted me saying she doesn't know where she is and that she's not home." I say breaking the news to them. So, so much for that idea-- wondering where she could of wondered off to. Seeing as none of her friends had seen her either.


Raven- I nod to the Irony, of the whole thing, seeing as they both felt pain. Maybe not the same level of it, but still enough that they had both died. Seeing as the day after she had died, he had killed himself because he couldn't find it to live without her.

Hunter- "Find her then you can still sense her even though she still is human it just takes a little extra effort." I said. "We have to get to her before someone else finds her and takes her to the hosptial."

Will- "If you want Raven and I could get a room set up for her. Not to try sound doom and gloom here, but she will probably only listen to you." I said. "The first sign is confusion and a burning fever with the wanting of their mate. She will be wanting you without realizing why." I whispered. This whole thing was all kinds of messed up.

Ruby- I looked around. I couldn't find the person I was looking for. I thought maybe it was Nick. I wanted him right now.

Nick- I shake my head, "No, that's a good idea... if you want you can do it at my place. Here's an extra key.. I had one made just in case I lost the original." I say pulling out the extra key I'd had made and hand it over to Will.


Raven- I nod thinking that it would be a good idea too, seeing as she'd need some rest after all of this and everything.

Will- Nodding taking the key. "See you there." I said. grabbed Raven's hand and headed out.

Hunter- "I will conintue my research to see if there is anything else on my end." I walked and headed back to do some more research.

Ruby- Yeah Nick would know what to do he said he would be coming here. That is what he said to me I think. I just want to swim now Nick will come.

Raven- I wave back at Nick as we head for the door seeing as I hadn't really said bye or anything. Rubbing a finger across the back of Wills hand as we leave to head over to Nicks to get a room set up.



Nick- I nodded as Hunter said he'd keep researching on his end, while they got a room set up and I went to find her. Hopping there would be more. But slightly doubted that there would be. Heading for the door too, waving back at Raven when she waved.

Will- "Okay so what do you think we will need? Other than room and probably some wash clothes." I said.

Ruby- Looking around again not sure why I was swimming but then heat came rushing back so I made and guess on what I was in the lake. Where was Nick though he was just here. "Nick" I called out softly.

Raven- I think for a minute. "Um... lets see. I'm sure he has water seeing as we'll need that for the wash clothes and for her to drink once she comes around. Maybe we should stop and get some tyional."



Nick- Once I had walked outside the doors to the library I had stopped and closed my eyes. To see if I could get a read on where she was. Hearing her voice, faintly. But it was still there. In my head. And i could tell where she was. The lake. The one in the woods. Taking off after her.

Will-"I don't think that kind of medicine will work. Have you ever broke into a hospital we might need some of the strong stuff" I said. "You could use your persuasion to get some and walk out like nothing happen." I said.

Ruby- I stopped moving. I just wanted to be cool down. I felt my awful. I just wanted to be cold I hated the feeling of the heat. Then sun didn't make it any better.

Raven- "Once. Okay we can do that, and hopefully it'll work on her." The one time that I had broken into a hospital it hadn't gone well. Seeing as I had still been so new to this. And I had barely been turned for two months when I'd done it. So to say it hadn't gone well--- well that would be an understatement.



Nick- I had made it to the lake in about 15 minutes. Stopping when I saw her swimming in it. Slowly walking up to the side of the lake. "hey--"

Will- "Yeah hopefully" I said. Heading towards the hospital. "All we need is enough morphine to last probably about a couple weeks for two people. If my cacluations are right from my research."

Ruby-"Nick you came." I said swimming to him. "I'm really hot and the water isn't helping." I said. "You said you would come you can come in the water with me." I asked. I didn't really have enough energy to swim any more. I was really hot and it wasn't going to well. Not to mention everything was confusing. "How did I get here Nick?"

Raven- Weeks?? Weeks? Hopefully he'd done the math to finger out how many bags that would be. Seeing as they weren't only getting it for Ruby, but for Nick too from the sounds of it. "Okay. Ummm how much do you think Nick weighs?"



Nick- Oh boy- this should be fun. I think Sitting down on the bank of the lake so that I was by her. Hopping I could convince her to come with me. "Maybe we should get you into some A\C maybe that will help more." I say thinking that it might be better than the water and seeing as the sun was now coming back out it would heat up the water and only make her warmer than she already was. "I don't really know, how you got here babe.."

Will-"Its only for Ruby just because the pain is worse then any other pain a human has suffered. Its 10 times as bad as a normal pain limit for a Vampire as the fact is her body won't last without the morphine"

Ruby-"You don't know how?" I aksed confused. I looked at him. "Nick come on leta go swimming." i whispered. Then I felt really tired all of the sudden. "Nick hold me i want to hold me"

Raven- Whee that was a relief. At least they didn't have to worry about finding spots to put two bodies. "Okay, the way you said it had me worried for a minute. So what you'd say? Ruby's what? Maybe 120? 130 at the most?" She said trying to do the math in her head.


Nick- He really didn't know how she'd gotten there. Seeing her go pale, a moment later. Not good- not good at all. Pulling her out of the water and placing her on his lap. "Shhh your going to be okay."

Will-"Yeah probably 130" I said. Looking at her.


Ruby- Curling into him some. "Nick I'm hot really hot" My eye closed automatically feeling my whole body go limp.

Raven- "Okay- so we'd need--- about 20 bags for two weeks. We can always come back and get more if we need too." I say as we reach the hospital.


Nick- I nod. "I know babe..." I tell her picking her up so that we could go back to my place and hopefully Raven and Will would be there already.

Will-"Okay" I siad. "We should hurry." I said.

Ruby- I didn't say anything. "Turn down the lights" I whispered. I flinched some because of them he sun.

Raven- "yeah, hopefully we can make it back before they do." I say as we walk into the hospital, and we head for the elevator.


Nick- I pull out a pair of sunglasses that I always forget about and put them over her eyes. Before heading back to the house fast.

Ruby- I felt hot I couldn't move my body it was so hard too. "Nick what's wrong"

Raven- I get off once the elevator stops. Looking back to see if Will was fallowing seeing as we had somehow stopped holding hands. Walking up to the desk and asking where the supple room was.

Nick- "It's okay- your just a little sick I think.. it'll be okay though once we get you inside." At least I hoped so, even if it was just a little bit.

Receptionist: "Excuse me miss we are not allowed to disclose that information." I said.

Ruby- "Where am I? How did I get here?" I whispered softly. I didn't know why I was here.

Raven- I highlight my eyes so that they flash a gold color saying "Yes you are.. we're going to be interns and we wanted to come check the place out before our first day. But we were suppose to take note of the supple room but we couldn't find it."


Nick- "I brought you back to my place. I thought maybe you were out in the sun to long or something, and you felt like you could cool down.. and my place was closer."

Receptionist: "Its down the hall way to the turn left through the open doors the first door on the right." I said mindlessly. "Anything else miss?"

Ruby-"Nick why am I here?" I whispered. "I don't why" I said looking confused.

Raven- "No, that's all.Thank you." I told her before turning and starting to walk that way with Will so that we could get what we needed and go.


Nick- Uh-oh.. This isn't good. I think whipping out my cell and calling Will.

Will- I picked up my phone. "Nick I know hurry we are getting some medicine that will help the pain when it starts happening. For right now get her in cold bath tub with tons of ice cubes close the curtians and Raven and I will be back." I hung up the phone short and sweet knowing we didn't have much time. I ran quickly to Raven.

Ruby-I closed my eyes and everything went black and I couldn't think on anything.

Nick- I saw her eyes fall shut, hanging up the phone once he hung up. Running to the small bathroom I had and filling it with icy water before running to get the ice trays and breaking all the ice into the tube. Walking back to her and carrying her into the bathroom. Undressing her a little bit. Just so that she was in her bra and panties then sitting her in the water. Hopping it would help. It had too.


Raven- I look behind me when Will ran up, turning around asking 'That Nick?"

Ruby- A blast of coldness flooded me. I open my eyes. "Where am I? Nick why am I here? Did you undressed me?" I said. "I need to get home." I said groggily. I didn't want to be here. Nick kissed me and he had a girlfirned.

Will-"Yeah "

Nick- I move back to sit on the lid of the toilet so that I was slightly away from her but could still get to her fast enough if she started to fall under. "Clam down--- your at my place. Because you said you weren't feeling good and my place was faster to get to then driving you all the way home. Yes, but you still have your um--- lady things on.So I didn't undress you all the way."



Raven- I nod starting to hand him some bags that I'd already found. "Wondering where we were right?" I ask as I start shoving bags into my pockets and a couple into the purse I'd carried.

Ruby-"That's not true I went home." I said. I knew I wouldn't go anywhere with him. I took a deep breath as I felt a hot flash. I didn't feel so well now. "I don't want to be anywhere ne...." I felt myself sinking down as my eyes closed confusion set it in quickly.

Will- "Yeah we have to hurry" I whispered.

Nick- I could just imagine how she was going to finish that sentice. by saying that she would never go anywhere with me. Or be anywhere near me for that matter. Flashing forward when her eyes fell shut again and she started slipping down. Pulling her up and resting her head against the wall. Yes, she might of gone home before but then she had left and he had been able to find her. And now he needed to take care of her before she went home. And until Raven and Will was able to get here.



Raven- I do a mental count in my head to make sure that we had enough bags. Saying a moment later. "Okay, I think we're ready. Lets get there so that we can get some of this stuff in her, seeing as it has to be setting in already, and if not it will be soon."

Ruby- I opened my eyes softly. "Nick why aren't you holding me?" I whispered. "I want you to hold me." I was really soft. I just really wanted to sleep with Nick holding me. "PLease hold me now." I whined. I was so confused on everything and I just really wanted to be with Nick. Then a pain rushed through my body. It was unbearable. Letting a scream I curled into a little ball.


Will-"Yeah at the bloodlust will come in couple of days, but the pain might start up soon" I said.

Nick- I finch at her scream, leaning over and resting a hand on the side of the tub so that she could rest her's on top of mine. Feeling horrible. Thinking now even though I knew it was to late- I should of held off and tried to control myself better. And shouldn't of kissed her. She was in this mess because of me. Because I'd kissed her. The only thing that I hoped now was that Will and Raven got back soon with the meds to help her. "Hey, hey--- look at me. Your going to be okay." I said reaching my other hand over and turning her face so that she was looking at me.



Raven- I nod. "Lets good then.." I say, starting for the door, so that we could get going and get there. Seeing as by now she had to have some big pain going on.

Ruby- I flinched away from him trying to curl into the ball. He wouldn't even hold me. "Stop" I said as the pain spread. I was shaking really bad. It felt like everything was coming to an end. I kept whimpering as i shivered with pain.


Will-"Yeah its probably going to feel like venom. She won't know that"

Nick- I get up and go sit on the side of the tub. Even though I had caught that she'd flinched away from me. Problally thinking that I wouldn't hold her. But I was just trying to help her and comfort her. Letting her go, sighing softly. "Ruby-- babe, it's going to be okay. Alright? The pain will pass."


Raven- "At least lets hope not." I say as we walk out of the building with everything. Noticing no one had stopped us to question us or anything. Once outside and slightly away from the building I turned to him. "How fast do you think you can run right now?"

Ruby- I looked at the bottom of the bath tub. "Nick I'm not your babe. What did you do to me?" I hissed through the pain. I shivering some with the pain.


Will-"Not as fast as you"

Nick- Drat. I kept forgetting that she'd lost her memory and thought I had a girlfriend. When really I didn't. Well okay- yeah I did. But the problem was that she didn't know that she was my supposed girlfriend. "I didn't do anything to you, I swear."

Raven- "Okay, I can slow down so that we can run together. At least it would be faster than walking."
