Nick- " I guess, I can if you want seeing as well--- your not really one and I highly doubt that Raven will." I say looking between them


Raven- "I'm not heartless, and I want her to be okay, but for some reason I don't think it's my blood that she wants. It's yours."


Nick- I lift an eyebrow in question for a moment then look back at the girl in my lap. Then biting my wrist and bringing it to her lips.

Ruby-I almost freaked out no joke. I could expose who I am for all they know I am a human girl so I have to act that way. I could smell it but I kept myself under control holding my reaction in. I felt the blood on my lips. I wanted to open my mouth,but felt like I would lose control then everything will be over.

Will- "I'm new to this whole thing, but shouldn't you know like put in her mouth. I mean if she is human. If she is a vampire she has like extreme control." I said.

Nick- I watch some drip into her mouth, letting it drip for about ten drops before pulling it back and healing it.


Raven- I nod at the whole control thing. She must be really strong or something if she is a vampire. Or else she is just human. "You can't just give a human blood by putting your arm at there mouth, it could cause them to chock. ------ But yeah, if she is a vamp she has some major control."

Ruby- His blood dripped on mouth felt like a long time. I held my breath and then I felt it stop. I let out my breath. I felt a lot better I still needed blood, but I could wait.

Will-"Is there a way to tell? I mean a human would have gotten hurt worse if they fell down that hole." I SAID.

Raven- I think, for a moment trying to see if I could think of any way to tell. Seeing as I'd learned a lot of tricks over the years, seeming to recall something along the lines of this. "Ummmmm I think there might be, well, besides the most common one. Checking for a pulse. There's another way that you can. Humans have a cirten smell to them.. if you can make it out, then they are. If not--- most likely vamp or something else. Unless that human is really lucky, then your right they would get hurt a lot more.. but you know how it is sometimes... sometimes you got luck on your side, and other times, well you know."



Nick- I try and start making out the sent, seeing if I can smell it. Then when I can't I check for the Pulse. Seeing as even I hadn't of learned that yet.

Will-"Yeah luck she fell a long ways with rocks on the bottom. I understand miracles happen you would think there would be scratches on her too." I was too curious. I looked at Nick. "What did you find?" I asked. There was no way this chic was a human.

Ruby-They were really trying to see if I was a human or not. I forced myself to open my eyes snapping my arm away. "Are you trying to see if I'm dead? Because I"m pretty sure I am alive" I whispered hoarsely

Nick- "No, just checking to see if your okay. Just thought we'd make sure you're really okay after the long fall and then you passing out." I tell her, taking my hand away from her neck. Waiting to answer Will, seeing as she was starting to come around again.


Raven- I shrug. "I don't know..... maybe your right.Maybe---" I stop talking when I hear her ask if he was checking to see if she was still alive.

Ruby-"I'm fine like I said before. I need to get going." I said. I tried getting up, but I fell back down again. I was still weak I hated being weak.

Will- I eyed Raven. "Maybe you could check that thing we were talking about since you are after more experience." I said. Hoping she would get my hint.

Raven- I glance between Will and Nick. Then give a soft nod. "Okay..." Walking over and resting two of my fingers were a pulse would be, not feeling one. Then try getting a hint of something but didn't get that either. Seeing her eyes go funny again. Maybe Will was right.... even if she was a vamp she seemed to have taken a pretty big hit. Even if she didn't want to believe it.


Nick- I watch then look up at Will trying to catch his eye to tell him what Raven was checking for and what I already knew.

Ruby-I needed to go but that wasn't going to happen. "I'm fine I honestly am." I whispered softly. "I need to go"

Will- I looked at her. "She can't be serious about leaving she just fell" I said.

Raven- "Rest, at least for a little while. Please. You just fell into a trap or whatever that this is, and then you almost passed out. If you seem fine in a few hours then you can go. But just rest for a while before you do though."

Ruby-"I can't be here I have to go" I was risking so much by being here right now. Maybe I needed more blood, but I wasn't going to ask for it. "I been here too long I have to go" I couldn't get up though to weak.

Will- I wasn't going to say anything to her. She was being plain old stubborn. "Raven what are systoms of being thirsty" I have feeling this girl needed blood. Maybe she didn't know she what she was.

Ruby- I felt so weak. "I can't stay here not anymore. I have to go. I can't stay here." I whispered.

Raven- I glance back at Will, then back to the girl for a moment before turning back to him. "Weakness, mostly..... tiredness, and sometimes even though it's very rare to hear about. You can loss your memory or go slightly insane for a time until you can get it."

Ruby-They were talking about me needing blood. They were right to a very good point I needed blood. Nick's blood. I needed Nick. I looked around feeling my eyes close automatically.

Will-"I think maybe just maybe we should try giving her more blood. If she wants Nick blood and he cuts his wrist maybe she won't be able to resist?"

Raven- "Maybe--- it's worth a shot at least. And then if not, we can try something else."


Nick- I look between them hearing that they had said something about me cutting myself again. Looking up asking "What?"

Will-"Your going to cut your wrist and put in near her and make sure you get a lot of blood." I said.

Ruby- I felt so bad for putting everyone through all this. Nick will hate me forever

Nick- "Sorry...." I say moving back over to her and then biting my wrist again making it slightly bigger this time. Maybe that would help her. Then putting it back to her mouth but closer this time than I had the last time.


Raven- I move back away from them, so that Nick and the girl could have some room. Male vamps tended to get a bit--- possessive when it came to feeding or giving blood to girls even if that girl wasn't there mate.

Ruby- I smelt his blood. I could taste it running down my throat. I was trying so hard not to go for it. So hard. It was so close. My heart was pumping so hard I'm sure they could hear it.

Will- Her reaction seemed to change. "Raven what do you think she is? And if she is a vampire why resisting it?"

Raven- "I'm pretty sure, she is a vampire..... seeing as I couldn't pick up any- um you know on her. But why she would be resiting when she's so weak, like she is... I don't know." There could be a hand full of reasons why she'd be resisting but I highly doubted that any of them were why she was.


Nick- I watch as it slid down into her mouth knowing it had to be running down her throat. Plus Will had brought up a good question. If she was indeed a vamp, why was she resiting so much? She had to be starving, by the way she was acting... but she seemed to be resiting taking it.

Will-"There has to be a reason." I whispered. "I wish we knew, but I guess we will have to wait to find out." I said. Looking at her. "I understand it might be private but something is really off with her."

Ruby- Just one bite. I couldn't handle his blood down my throat. It was getting to be too much. They already know I am a vampire. My eyes flashed open looking at the blood. I wanted more. I couldn't take it anymore I grabbed his wrist and bit down on. His blood was so good. It felt like I never had it before and I did so many times.

((Oh man--- I didn't hear anything about that. When did that happen?))

Raven- I nod, "yeah, I know... I think it's just a little odd that we both felt that magic or whatever you want to call it just minutes before we heard the scream and then found Nick with her. I don't know, I might just be over thinking it but--- it's just strange." I whisper to him so not to interrupt them.


Nick- I felt a shock go through me when she leaned up and bit into my arm. I had half expected it to hurt seeing as she was so thirsty but it didn't. If anything, it felt more---- calming than anything else. Even if that didn't make sense. Not pulling away, instead I just let her drink seeing as she needed it.

Will-"I was thinking the same thing. You don't think its connected. I swore Nick was looking for someone out there." I said.

Ruby- I started to feel a lot better. I shoukd earse their memories again but i couldn't bring myself to do that. I loved Nick too much. The blood melted in my mouth. I pulled away good for now. Still tired though.

((Okay. That's odd, seeing as I hadn't heard anything about it. Maybe that's why nothing on one of my friend's account doesn't work.))


Raven- I shrug looking over at her for a moment. "I guess it could be--- as for the how and why. I couldn't even began to guess... I know, I could of swore he was looking for something or someone out here too.."



Nick- I help her lay down again feeling her pull back. Sensing something----- something about her. But what it was, I had no idea. There was just to much going on right now. Licking the cut to heal it.

Will-"I think we should find out" I said. "I mean she could be dangerous for all we know." I whispered. "I mean it had to..." I was cut off by the phone ringing. I reached for it. "Hello"

Mike-"Is Nick there?" I asked.

Will-"Yeah" I said. "Its for you Nick some dude." I said. I handed him the phone.

Ruby- I really wanted to snuggled into him. I wanted him to hold me and tell me everything is going to be okay. Then I heard Mike on the phone he was going to ask Nick how I was doing how we were doing as couple. How could I be stupid enough to forget Mike. He wasn't there and my powers wouldn't reach that far anyways

Mike-"So how everything going between you and Ruby?" I asked. "I mean the last time I seen you guys it was pretty rough"

Nick- I frown, not because I'd forgotten what my brothers voice sounded like. But because of what he was asking. Had I somehow forgotten that I had a girlfriend or something? I wonder asking "Umm, who are you talking about?"



Raven- I frown watching him hand him the phone high-lighting my hearing for a moment, hearing the guy on the other end ask about a girl named Ruby. Did Nick have a girl-friend? And if so, why would the other guy on the other line be asking about her now? Seeing as they seemed close by the way they were talking.

Mike-"Your kidding me right? The last time we seen each other you and Ruby weren't in the best of situations. She was kinda of angry at you." I said. "I thought you to would have worked it out by now."

Ruby- I gulped stupid Mike. I hope and prayed they didn't notice me and think it was me. I could deny it.

Will- My eyes widended who was this guy talking about did Nick have a girlfriend.

Mike- I sighed some. "You know your mate you guys have been through so much together. You call her Strawberry. She's everything too you and vice versa." I said.

Nick- "Dude... are you high or something? I really have no idea who your talking about." I say totally confused now. I knew that I was a vampire and that he was a hunter but he was also my brother. So he wouldn't go after me or anyone else I called a friend or anything like that. I was totally confused.



Raven- I lift an eyebrow when I heard that, it seemed---- well I don't know. But it seemed like whoever this guy was that was talking to Nick he knew something we didn't. And judging from the look on Nick's face he was just as confused as us.

Mike-"I'm not high Nick. Do you need me to send a picture of you two" I said. I looked and took a picture of the two together and sent it to him. "Doesn't she look familiar I asked?" I was concerned for him. How could he forget Ruby of all people.

Ruby-This wasn't good at all. I was going to get caught. Nick was going to furious.

Will- "You don't think?" I asked looking to Raven eyeing the girl. Waiting to see what Nick was going to say.

Nick- I frown slightly then tell him to hold on a minute while I looked at the picture. Looking at it. Feeling my frown deepen even more. In the picture I was with the girl that I'd found that had fallen into the trap. But---- how could that be? I'd just meet her less --- not even an hour ago. Before that I hadn't even known her. Putting the phone back to my ear. "Look man, I don't know how you got the photo of us seeing as the girl in the picture I just meet twenty minutes ago. And I could swear that I've never meet her before that." Was Mike just trying to mess with me?



Raven- I let my eyes widen for a moment looking at him when he asked then letting them go back to normal. I didn't know what to think about any of this. Wondering who was in the picture that the other guy had sent to him. Then found out when Nick answered.

Mike- My eyes widened. "Nick I'm not messing with her? Don't you feel like should know her? Don't you feel like your missing something that you were looking for something and didn't know what it was? She earsed your memory for some reason I don't know." I said. "Nick you did not meet her 20 min ago. You met her in school she was the outcast. You feel for her. You have to remember her."

Ruby- He doesn't have to remember me. I just laid there listening to everything.

Will-"We don't know her" I mouthed.

Nick- I start trying to think back, not answering his questions right away. It had seemed like I was missing something, like I had been looking for something. But just didn't know what it was. "I don't know---- kind of. It's hard to tell."


Raven- I pull him a little ways away but not far enough that we couldn't hear them talking. "I don't know... what if we do? What if that's the reason we both thought he was looking for something?"

Mike-"I'm right. You have a connection to her. Who do you think turned you into a Vampire?" I sat the picture down. "I have to go now." I said hanging up the phone.

Will-"Why would she mess with our memories? That's messed up" I said. "I have a feeling if she is a cause of it we will have some trust issues and even a bigger problem on our hands."

Ruby- I heard everything. I had to go away before someone saw me. I open my eyes and slowly started to move away.

Will-"She's making a run for it"

Nick- I was going to say good-bye to him before he hung up but it was to late. Seeing her starting to make a run for it hopping up and then going after her. Seeing as if she'd taken my blood maybe she'd listen to me..... maybe.


Raven- "I don't know... maybe she didn't want us to remember her for some reason. Maybe she knows something more than what she's lead us to think she knows about what the hunters want us to find. There's a whole list of reasons on why she'd do it. But I do think your right about the trust and the bigger problem thing."

Ruby-I slowed down thinking I got away from them. I had to. I really did. I loved him so much and I had to let him go he would be safe. Now he won't he will be in danger of the darkness. Its going to come for me again.

Will-"If what that guy says is true maybe Nick would be able to talk sense into her." I said. "Yeah how do we know if we can trust her? How do we know she won't take our memories?" I asked her. "This is going to get nasty. You are right there had to be reason? I mean taking memories shouldn't the first think you do"

Nick- I slow to a walk when I hear her foot falls that had slowed as well. Not wanting to risk scaring her away now. Starting to slowly work my way over to her still trying to take everything in that Mike had told me. I still found it hard to believe and part of me still thought he was messing with me. I mean it was a totally Mike thing to do. But what if he wasn't? And really in fact, I did know her and she had really swiped my memory of her?


Raven- I shrug. "I hope so,--- if not well things could get a whole lot worse. And as far as I'm considered right now, I don't trust her. Seeing as your right, taking memories shouldn't be the first thing you consider or even think of, when your in---- well I don't know why she did it, but still there had to be another way to go about it."

Ruby- I took a deep breath in trying to calm down. I had to get to the waterfalls. "I know you're following me." I said coldly. I didn't turn around. "You need to go back to your friends its not safe for you" I said. I wasn't going to look at him.

Will- I nodded my head. Not knowing what else to say. I mean there wasn't much else to say to Raven. I didn't mean just to drop conversation with her every time but I did.

Nick- I steep out seeing as she knew that I was fallowing her. Asking after a moment of eying her. "Why isn't it safe? You seem safe enough, and with your curnet condition I highly think you'd be able to do little more than maybe push me off my feet."


Raven- I wish things weren't so--- off between us. Seeing as every time we talked one of us just ended up stopping. It wasn't because of lack of trying. Well maybe that was part of it. But still, things had been strained between us even before we'd meet Nick. And whoever that girl was that the guy on the phone had said Nick had known before.

Ruby-I turned around giving a him deadly stare. "You have no idea what can or can't do in my current condition." I said. I closed my eyes and constrate the wind started to pick up quickly. I was using a lot my energy doing this. "I could wipe all your memory. I could set you on fire." I could do those things but my energy was so weak at the moment I shouldn't be doing what I was doing. I stop the wind. "It isn't safe for you Nick trust me on that." I looked weaker and pale from doing that little bit. I wanted to walk away but my knees were trembling some.

Will- I hate pretening everything was okay. It wasn't okay. "How can you act so tense about everything. You always seem so cold." I said. I was a little upset at her. Like I was majorly upset at her.

Nick- I eye her over, not the least bit scared or anything about her little show with the wind or by her words. "Oh yeah, and your looking even worse than you did before you played with the wind. And your knees are starting to tremble." I say seeing through the show she was putting on. She wanted me to be afraid of her, wanted to push me away. But it wasn't working. "Can we at least talk for a while? And then you can go if you really want to. But I would like to try and remember you if I can."



Raven- How could I answer that when it was somewhat true? But I had thought that after us being together for the time that we had been he'd start to see through it. I didn't trust many people, and even the people I did, I tended to keep at arms length. It was just safer that way. Seeing as I thought that if I did, if they got hurt or died. I wouldn't care as much. That was one thing that wasn't accepted by many vampires. Weakness. In the cult I'd been in before, you couldn't show weakness at all or else you got kicked out. It didn't matter what it was about. If you did for any reason, you were out. No questions asked. I hadn't gotten kicked out, I'd come close a few times but had always been able to push back the feeling just in time that I never got caught. It was because of lust that I'd left. It was a long time ago now. It had been a few years after I'd been changed, but I had fallen for a guy. Human. And one night after he'd walked me to were I was staying he'd been gunned down. No reason. But he had. I'd heard the shoot and had rushed out to find him laying in the street, and then he had died in my arms after telling me that he loved me. After that, I had practiced keeping my head. Practiced not getting to close to people. Maybe that was why--- I tended to act so cold to people. Because I didn't want them or myself to get to close only to loss them in the end. But I couldn't tell him that, he'd think worse of me than he already did. I could tell that he did, from his voice. But yet it surprised me that he didn't see through me to my core. But maybe that was for the best, even if I did care for him. Maybe even more than I should let myself care. "Because,--- sometimes that's all you can do, to keep from falling apart..... pretend like you don't care."

Ruby- He wasn't taking me seriously not one bit. He thought I was putting a show on. I wasn't putting a show the elders would come and hurt him. I had to walk away. "I'm not going to let you remember me. And the chances of that happening are slim. I made sure this time it was permantant. There's things you don't understand and will never." I said. I felt wuzzy. My body began to shake some. My body was going through withdraw. I need his touch and him. He was suppose to make choices for me. That was his job as my mate, but I was blocking it and my body didn't like that. "I'm not going to stay. I have to go. There is no way you can make me stay." He could make me stay. Heck he could make me do anything he wanted. Thought he didn't even remember that.


Will-"Pretending makes things worse. You lose the people around and the people who care for you. In the end you only have yourself to blame." I looked at her. "I could be doing better things right now. I could be someone where nice instead I'm here because you made me into this hybrid. I never asked to be hybrid. I can't even change anymore because I was kind of enough to give you blood. Look where that got me no where. I should have let you stay in that prison. Vampires can't be trusted. I stayed by your side through everything then you leave me and then you dragged me into this mess. I don't care about the stupid vampire race!!!" I shouted. I was really upset. I been holding that in.

Nick- "If you don't want to explain some of this stuff to me. Okay. Although you did just confess that you did take my memories and that I knew you before. So now that only makes me what to know more. Plus it's pretty clear that we were close before, with him sending my the picture and all. The only thing I don't understand is why you thought you had to take them to began with. If your in some kind of trouble I could help. You don't have to do this all on your own you know." I say seeing her starting to turn a light shade of green, wondering if she was going to be sick.


Raven- He was right, and I knew he was right. That's why people tended not to stick around me for long. "If I hadn't you would of died! And you can't blame me for your almost dying, we both know who cause that. I was trying to help you fight it. And you didn't have to give me blood, if you didn't want too. You could of just have let me die, and then you could of just went on your way seeing as you hated me so much just as you do now. I left you because I was tricked! Do you honestly think I would of done it by choose? And when she started talking I knew that I didn't stand a chance, you where going to chose her no matter what I said or did."

Ruby- I looked at him. "There was nothing you can or will do okay." I took a deep breath trying not to collapse. "Nick please get over here right now and just hold me without any questions. I need you" I whispered. I was getting weak I could tell that I started to lose focus on everything. I looked up at him the first time since I erased his memories. "Please hold me and tell me everything will be okay." I felt the world start to move around and fall. Was I falling?

Will-"I wasn't going to choose either of you." I shouted."How could you think I hate you? All I did was be kind to you since day one. That obviously shows how much I hate you and don't want to be near you." I can't believe she was going to this. "I thought you cared about me. No instead you left and hurt me and then you had the nerve to drag me into your stupid vampire problems.

Nick- I had seen her take the breath, about ready to run over there and catch her if need be when she told me to just hold her without any questions. Starting over just to do that, when she started falling. Flashing the rest of the way over there and catching her right before she would of fallen. Laying her down with her head in my lap, starting to smooth her hair. For some reason it seemed like I'd done this a million times before, wishing that I could remember them. "Shhh, it's going to be okay. You're going to be okay."


Raven- "And how in the world was I suppose to know that?! Hell, Will she was all but casting a spell over you, and then when she started talking and all that, She was threatening both of our lives. But she'd agree to let you go only if I walked away! I didn't have a chose." How could he not get that everything I had done up until this point was either to protect him or to save his life in one way or another. Even if I had shown it in possabley the wrong way, I had saved and protected him more times then he knew. "I gave you the facts, about all of this, I didn't drag you into it. It was your choose on rather or not you came."

Ruby-I looked up at him with my big blue eyes. "Nick I want you to remember I'm sorry I really am." I whispered. "Nick maybe a kiss will work." I was out of it. I believed every word that he was saying. "Nick please remember everything. I'm sorry please don't be mad."I begged him. I needed him so much. "I...." My voice was cut off as I closed my eyes due to the lack of energy.

Will-"You told me I had to come because I was part of it." I said. "How can you blame everything on someone who isn't even here?"I shouted. "This whole time I was trying be nice and earn your trust so we could have a chance to be together. I was wrong to do that. You will grow old and cold. Did I mention alone?" I snapped. I knew I was being harshed.

Nick- I sigh leaning down and kissing her forehead softly, seeing that she'd finally passed out all the way. Hearing her saying that she wanted me to remember who she was. What she once had been to me. And hopefully what she'd mean to me again. Smoothing her hair again.


Raven- "You could of refused, you could of told me to go to hell, or anything! Just because I told you, you were part of it didn't mean you had to come and do it. It wasn't like I drugged you and helped him carry you to the car and held you hostage. Because I'm telling you the truth! I'm telling you what happened, why I walked away. ------------If I didn't trust you at all I would of never have told you about my past, or the nightmare that I had." I would of added that I was already Old. Seeing as I got changed 200 years ago. And according to him I was also already cold and for the most part I was alone.

Ruby-I loved him so much i didn't want to lose him. I wish I could. I was happy. Nick was everything to me. I couldn't lose him. I didn't rest too long sense i was near mine mate. "Nick I want to make it up to you. They were going to kill me i have to bring them the thing." I was a little out of it. I could onky think of him.

Will- "You need loosen up." I said. "Excuses" I told her. I was upset. I didn't have anything else to say. I was furious. I walked away.

Nick- I look down at her when she started talking seeing that she was still mostly resting but not really. Asking after a moment, "Who are 'they'? How do you know what the thing is that they want, did they tell you?"



Raven- I run my hands through my hair making a mess of it. This was all my fault and I knew it. Watching him walk away, letting him get about 20 feet away before shouting at him: "Fine! You really want to know why I act so cold and uncaring?!" If he wanted the truth he'd get it no matter how much it upset me to tell him this. And no matter how much less he'd think of me. If he wanted the truth he'd get it, plan and simple.

Will-I turned around."Do you think I want the truth? This whole time I wanted you and all you do is tell me things. I don't care why you are." I said. Looking at her. "I want you and if you don't understand or can't see that I won't waist my time on you."
