Ruby- I could feel Nick pick me up. I was so confused on what was happening, but I couldn't move or speak. It felt like all the life was being sucked out of me. Was it Nick picking me? My thoughts weren't clear nothing was I just felt myself slowly slipping away.

Will- I nodded my head slowly. Starting the car.

Nick- The doctor that I'd seen when we came in said that they would rush her to sugary. Before calling over some others and just like that. She was being taken away from me. Sitting down in one of the chairs that was behind me in the room that they'd shown me too. To setal in and--- wait.


Raven- I watch while he starts the car up thinking of where we should dig the grave.

Ruby- I didn't know what was happening I heard noises, but then was sucked into a dream.The next thing I know I was in a white room as I opened my eyes slowly. I see Nick, but didn't know how to speak I didn't feel like. I feel so well and felt like dying. Closing my eyes again.

Will- "Where to"

Nick- I look up when I see something move out of the corner of my eye. They'd brought her back about an hour ago. And said she'd be out for a while but that she'd wake up in an hour or so. Seeing that her eyes had been open but she had shut them again. Walking over and sitting on the bed besides her. "How are you feeling?"


Raven- I think for another moment then say. "Broadway and Madison. There's a graveyard there."

Ruby- Nick was here I wanted to smile, but I couldn't speak."What happened?" Mouthing slowly no sound came out. I felt all the pain and sorrow and wanted the pain to go away. Wait why was hungry? I never get hungry I craved blood. I was a vampire. Why was in the hospital I could healed.

Will- Nodding some gp that way.

Nick- "You fell on a knife..." I tell her getting what she was asking even though she couldn't speak yet. Reaching her the cup of water the nurse had brought in.

Ruby- That didn't explain why I was here I took the glass of water gulping it down. I was thirsty why was I thirsty? I couldn't feel any connection or anything that made me who I was. That didn't even answer my question. Wait I had a pulse I never had a pulse this isn't good. Why was I a human? I couldn't even read or persuade anyone. I didn't have my magic. I was just plain or average human and I didn't like it. "When I can I leave. I have a lot things to do."I whispered hoarsely. I had to plan so much most importantly on how I'll be able to return to normal. "I have to get out now I said. I'm not staying in this hosptial." I shake my head some. "Please I have to go" I moved my hand slowly I swore to myself because I couldn't move fast anymore. I was a pathetic human.


Will- Something is wrong I could feel. "Raven something is really wrong with Nick and Ruby" I could sense it.

Nick and I haven't really talked much for awhile. I try my best to avoid him at all costs. I been exercising and training myself to go against a vampire. I want them to change me back because obviously Nick doesn't care enough to change me back. Another thing I can't believe that Maddie is my friend like really. This place is twisted. Sighing some walking through the hallways. I feel like he didn't care about me. I wish I could shut it off again, but i couldn't.

Will I looked over to Grace she was just a friend who is a lab partner. Though she is very nice and treats me nicely. What's wrong with having a friend who is a girl nothing. I smiled over to her. "I would rather kill a rabbit then a human." We were playing a intense game of would you rather. "Would you rather place video games or cheerlead."

Nick walked down the hallway heading to his next class. It just wasn't his day-- or to be completely honest- Not his month. Seeing as after the whole kiss with Ruby at the library at the beginning of the month and they had given her stuff to help her. Things hadn't gone--- well. And after that everything just seemed to get worse. Mike still wasn't talking to him, seeing as he still didn't know who he was, the girl he loved and was still mated too, was avoiding him at all cost seeing as she thought he was some kind of stalker\kidnapper\ killer. Or whatever she thought he was these days. The only good thing that had come out of all of this was meeting Will and Raven. And even they were having there own problems again. Thinking again as he took his seat that he should really find a way to meet with Ruby alone, so they could--- Talk. About stuff. The only question was: How?



Grace made a face when he said he would kill the rabbit. Although she was also glad that he'd picked it and not the human. Considering his question with deep thought before answering. She didn't really care for Cheer. But she also wasn't that grate at video games either. Sure she was good enough- but not anywhere as good as she suspected he was. "Video games. Would you rather--- eat raw fish or, chock to death on a piece of lettuce?"

Taking a deep breath wishing all the pain would go away right now. Sighing as it didn't go away. Training took her mind off some of things that happened. For the life of her she couldn't remember that missing time frame at all. The very last thing she remember was shutting off the pain and sorrow. Nothing else matter or existed at that time. Nick didn't bother trying to make the contact or tell her what happened and fix her. Why wouldn't he fix her and made her a vampire again? Why leave her as just a human? Then a familiar sound he heard it was her sister her dead sister coming up from behind her walking past to Nick who was going to his next class. Trying to keep walking, but she did really slowly. "Hey big brother." Roses voice was bright and cheery. It was like Nick took her life that she had that means her parents were alive. What was going on here it was like this was her new permanent life and there was nothing she could about it. Running was an option, but honestly Nick would notice. Just keeping walking like nothing ever happened. Holding in every bit of emotion. That meant her parents were alive didn't it?

Will looked at him shaky his head some this was hard one. He would have interjected that Rabbits were delicious to snagged and tear to limb from limb. Grace was a human and she wouldn't understand that all. "Fish I like lettuce, but not enough to eat to get a chance to choke on it." He flashed a million dollar smile. Wondering where was Raven?

Nick looked behind him just as he was about to steep into the room. What in the--- Rose. She was alive? It seemed after The Elder did what she had to Ruby the whole world went tipsy treivy. Rose was dead. She'd died a year ago. So--- did that mean that her parents were still alive to? And if so, why was she calling him 'Big brother'? They weren't related in anyway at all. The only way that they'd ever meet had been through Ruby. Seeing Ruby down the hallway. Then turning back to her. "Uh- Hi. What's up?"


Grace smiled brightly when he flashed her a million dollar smile. He didn't give them a lot she noticed but when he did they were stunning. And she loved them. "Not sure I could do the fish-- seeing as I don't like it as it is... so yeah." She said not really knowing how to finish that.

Rose looking at him some. "Can't I say hi to my big brother without wanting something?" Biting her lip smiling sweetly. "If you must know mom and dad are out this weekend going to a meeting about the Valentines festival. Anyways I want to have big party this weekend so you can't tell them. I do have Miles on broad, but were twins so." Batting her eyes sweetly.

Ruby couldn't hear the words of them anymore, but she was going to break down. Walking into the restroom slowly sitting in a stall holding in the tears of this. It was all too much.

Will felt a shift in the air. "I have to go Grace. I'll see you tomorrow."Smiling at her getting up to leave. Sensing Raven down the all. "Something is wrong" He said looking at her. "Like really wrong some type of balance is off."

Twins?? What kind of sick joke was this? He didn't live with them- and he knew he didn't have a sister. He had a brother. Now he knew he had to get things worked out so that they could go back to being-- well normal. Or as normal as normal ever was for them. And who was Miles? Boyfriend maybe? "I guess not... Okay I wont tell them. But I don't know how much I can do to help out seeing as I got plans for the weekend..." He said seeing her duck into one of the bathrooms down the hall. Maybe he'd lie and say that he needed to go get something and then wait for her to come out. So that they could talk.


Raven had been walking down the hall when she had saw Grace with Will. She didn't mind if they hung out, seeing as she didn't really have a problem with the girl. But---- at times she thought she'd seen her looking at Will for a bit to long. Or her smile being a bit to bright for someone that only wanted a friendship. But she hadn't said anything on the topic yet. Letting her mouth dropped open. Wondering now just how much power Will really had. Seeing as she hadn't even sensed it until she had saw her. The only reason she had known who it was; was because she had talked to Nick about Ruby and her family before. And he had described how each of them looked and told her their names. And- this, this was not --- well she didn't even really have a name for it. "I know... Rose is alive."

"Nick you look a little puzzled about Miles. He's my twin silly. Are you feeling okay?" Asking softly. "Thanks big brother I have to go Miles and I have a awesome party to plan. You can bring some people. No humans or werewolves." Smiling walking off in the direction to her class.

Taking a deep breath. The royal family was alive and Nick was the main part. Nick had her life her parents and everything she lost. Walking out of the bathroom. Skipping class to go hunting. Hunters normally struck during the night, but she knew better and so far none of the hunters nor vampires knew what hit them. She was the new hunter in town and keeping that secret was important. Why kill a vampire? They didn't take her seriously enough to change her so she killed them and left the bodies for some to find. She just wanted to be a vampire again that's it.

Will looked over to Raven some. "Yeah I knew something was up. Nick can't let them have a party full of vampires there's new hunter in town and they been killing off the vampires like they were nothing. You would have to find and kill the hunter first." He said looking at her. Hoping Nick wasn't serious about this. Did he even think this through?

Nick didn't know what to make of this.... whatever 'this' was. Watching as she walked off to plan the party that her--- Rose-- Which had been dead. And Miles had to plan. Shaking his head and he saw the door swing shut. Guess he'd have to talk to her later. Or--- he could just skip and go look for her. But he couldn't. She'd blame him for fallowing her again. Shaking his head as he headed down the hall and away from the class room. To go look for Will and Raven.


"Yeah, it's been crazy. I've been trying to keep tabs on the new hunter, but there's just too many killings and bodies to add up. And there all spaced out. It's not just in one area. Wait-- what party?" She said seeing as she hadn't heard anything about this.

Glaring some she changed quickly into a leather suit in her car so no one could see me. Driving off to quickly her first chance of the day. One of these vampires are going to have to turn her thinking to herself. Counting how many she killed it was a lot and she felt bad in a way, but at the same time she felt desperate and addicted to the kill. Approaching her first victim of the day. "A lady hunter how sweet."

Smiling a some. "Not just any lady. I'm the last lady you will ever see so get soak it in."


"I know and its really weird that most of them been during the day. A few on the nights. If she is having a vampire party then its all over." He said to her. "Grace was talking about how she wish she was going to be invited to it." Sighing a bit. "I think you might want to go find Ruby she might be in endanger. If the Hunter wants to mess with Nick that's the first target."

Raven thought on this for a moment. But what if--- the hunter wasn't after Nick. What if the hunter in question was Ruby herself. But she didn't remember anything about vampires or how it was before she'd turned human... did she? If so she hadn't said anything to Nick about it. Seeing as Nick would of told them about it by now. Pushing the thought of Grace away again. Along with not bringing up the possibility that the Hunter could be Ruby. "Okay, I'll go look for Ruby, see if she's in school anyplace. If not I'll hop out and go looking for her else were. Keep an eye on Nick, if you can."

Ruby smiled coldly at the vampire slashing him and watching his body hit the ground. Stabbing him through the heart with a stake to make sure that he was dead. "You had your chance" Whispered coldly as she got in her car and drove to the bad part of town where all the vampires were. Wishing that she could shut off the pain and in the way she did. Would it be too late for her if they found out? If killing was her addiction could it be stopped?

Wondering what Raven was thinking about Will nodded. "Okay" Moving to find Nick seeing him come toward him. "Hey Nick I came to the conclusion that you must be taken Ruby's life. Besides that you can't let Rose have that party that new hunter in town is killing Vampires left and right."

Nick had gone in search of the other two instead of going to class. Spotting them down the hall. Stopping when Will came over to him, letting out a breath. When he heard Will say that he'd come to the conclusion that he'd gotten Ruby's old life. "Yeah, I got her life, sister and family included. I'll see what I can do about the whole Party thing seeing as Rose and Miles seem to be dead set on doing this party. " He said then noticed that Raven was heading the other way. Instead of coming to them. "Where she headed?" He asked nodding in the way Raven was going.

Looking at him then moving to his head to Raven. "Oh she's going to look for Ruby because we think if the Hunter wants to get to you first they will go for Ruby first." He said, but deep down inside he felt that Raven felt something off about and so did he. Knowing that it could be a bad idea to Nick. "It doesn't matter lets get a plan set for that party to make sure no hunters come." Telling him.

Ruby notice a vampire coming out of the bar. Getting out but was stopped, buy a human. "Hey sweet thing came here to party." Cursing as the vampire was out of reach turning to the human.

"First off and don't call me sweet thing because that's not happening. Second off you messed up this hold thing. Honestly your an abomination to your kind." She snapped. "I should kill you to take his place." This could have been her chance to get turned.

"Ruby left a little while ago--- just walked out. I didn't know where she was going though seeing as I got stopped by Rose. Why don't we let Raven know that she left and to go out and look for her, and then we can hopefully come up with a plan on how to stop this whole party idea..... Although. I hate to break it to you. But I don't think the new player is after me. If so it would of come and gotten either Ruby or me already. Seeing as it's not like we're hiding out.." He said as nicely as he could feeling one corner of his mouth lift up in thought.


Raven had saw Nick coming up to them and then Will had gone to meet him half way. Deciding not to stick around and listen to them talk. She had her own problems, and she was also working on someone Else's. Which was: Finding Ruby and making sure she was okay. Although the nagging feeling inside of her said that she wouldn't find her anywhere here at school. Heading back for one of the doors that lead outside.

Will looked up at Nick sighing some. "No lets stay here and let Raven find her. Raven is an excellent tracker and she'll find her in know time." In fear that Raven will blurt out what she was thinking to Nick. Having a feeling that he knew it. Nick would be crushed or angry probably both if he that was the case. "Look I will tell you something important, but you can't flip out and rush after Raven. Raven can handle Ruby" He said hoping he could hold Nick off. "Raven didn't exactly say this, but I could feel her thinking it and I was too. It's not for sure, but we might think that Ruby is the hunter and someone she remembers everything and isn't telling you." He blurted. "But it's just a theory and I'm not letting you go." He had to tell him because he what if it was true?

"Your a stupid human who should die. All humans should more so die because you aren't the superior species. Humans are arrogant and slow creatures. Who don't understand what true power is. You guys don't even have great families." Why was she so angry? Her body was becoming very jittery as she needed to kill. Most of the time she killed over and over again until the need was quench. Thought right now the thirst of the kill hadn't been forefilled.

Nick had heard about the new player in town. From friends that he knew, and from the news seeing as some of the killings had even been front page news and also had been shown on the 5 o'clock news. But never once had he considered what Will was telling him now. Sure it was just a theory. That both Will and Raven had. But wouldn't he have known if it was her? If in fact they did happen to be right and Ruby was the new player? But why was she targeting Vampires? She hated humans more... unless--- she was going after them for revenge. Because he hadn't changed her back. And now she was trying to get someone else to do it. And they all refused. And when they did, she killed them. But he still couldn't believe that. It had to be someone else. "No. I would of picked up on it, if she wasn't telling me everything... she can't be the new player in town."




Raven had made it to Brooklyn Park in little over a couple minutes. Stopping a mile and an half away from where she could hear the voices coming from. Someone yelling at another person about how stupid and slow the human race was. And that who ever they were yelling at should just die. Starting walk closer. She knew that voice--- she realized as she got closer. It was Ruby. What was Ruby doing all the way out here??

Will looked at him sadly. "Nick I'm sorry, but it turns out this is true then you will have to deal with it." It sounded like he was in denial. They had to keep every option open including this. "We have to be prepared to deal with it." Knowing that killing was an addiction and once it started it was hard to stop. Have you found anything out Thinking to Raven hoping she found something and it wouldnt be his worse fear.

She reached for her dagger wanting to experience the kill. Getting closer to the human guy. "I should kill you" She didn't want to though. Backing away slowly and darted in the ally shaking. The guy followed her in the alley. "Don't leave me" He whined and he got closer snd closer. The dagger shaked in her hand. Before she knew it she stabbed him in the heart. Blinking seeing the blood glisten what did she just do?

Raven heard Will's question in her head but didn't have time to answer it. Hearing them duck into the ally and then her saying that she should kill him again. Darting out to fallow them into the ally. But stopped when she heard the body hit the ground. The guy was dead. Smelling the blood. Fresh. But dead. Then steeped into view so that Ruby could see her.


Nick didn't want to accept that as a possibility. Ruby was human and he hadn't turned her, that much was true. But he couldn't believe that she'd hurt her own kind. What she had been proud to be before. That she might be remembering what she was before, and going after vampires to ask them to change her back. Why didn't she just come to him and ask him to do it? He was her mate! Even if she was human, now none of that changed.

Ruby didn't see Raven she saw blood and a body of a human. It wasn't killing a human her first time, but she was a human now. Falling down to the ground sighing some. Shaking terrified of it. Noticed Raven all of sudden. Freaking out. "This guy attacked me." She lied getting up trying to act as calmly as possible. Her secret was up.

"Nick we should go check on Raven something happened and she isn't answering me."

Raven didn't believe her. She had heard what had happened. Heard what had been said. Walking slowly towards Ruby kneeling on the ground. And then stopped when she got up, unsure about rather or not to get closer or stay where she was. Holding up her hands then resting them at her sides again. "There's no need to lie to me about it... I heard what happened. But the one thing I can't figure out is: Why? I know your the new player in town. Your kill gave it away."



"Maybe she just can't right now... give it a few minutes and then we'll head out to look for her. Seeing as like you said. She's the best tracker in town."

Looking ashamed. "I didn't want to kill i thought they were going to turn me, but they refused. Then the killing blocked the pauin. I laid in the hospital so confused and Nick did nothing he didn't hold me. I had no clue what happened after I shut it off." Whispering ever so softly. "I honestly didn't want to kill the human. I didn't mean to." Shaking some. "I'm a monster just kill me"

"Its Ruby something is wrong." I knew why now. "We were right"

Raven crossed and keeled down in front of her. So that they were on the same level. Thinking about everything that had happened after Ruby had shut it off. Bad, bad, things had happened.. but she didn't need to tell her any of that and fill her in. She'd let Nick do that. "I know you didn't..... why don't we head back? That way you can talk to Nick. Tell him that you want to be changed back."



Nick started pacing after he heard that they'd been right. That Ruby was in fact the new player in town. This was going to eat him alive he just knew it. If he had paid closer adtienion to her. If he had changed her back right away... None of this would be happening. He thought running his hands through his hair.

Ruby biting her lips softly this was going to well. Shaking her head no. "You can't tell Nick or anyone." Saying in dark voice. She wasn't ready to face Nick that meant she would have to face the fact that he had her life everything she lost he had. "I can't go back no one will trust me."

Will looked up at Nick. "This isn't your fault. Lets just go and see what's up before something happens." Will lost trust in Ruby and he figured a lot of people will.

Raven sighed. She knew she'd have to at some point, seeing as Nick had a right to know. But--- she wouldn't yet if that was what Ruby wanted. She didn't know why but for some reason she felt a responsibility for taking care of her. It was true, she hadn't liked her before... but now she could at least come to an understanding for the girl. "Alright, I wont tell Nick.... but for what it's worth. I don't think he'd blame you. He'd blame himself, for everything that's happened."



Nick stopped then started pacing again not sure what to do. But he did see Will's point. They should go before something happened to either Raven or Ruby. Seeing as they both knew how to fight. And they didn't really care for each-other. At least they hadn't before. Stopping once more and turning to Will. "Okay--- lets go. There's no telling what they could get into."

"I think they are on their way" Shaking her head some. "I can't see Nick at all. He has my life how am I suppose to be near him when Rose is around or my brother. Talking about my parents and my life." Tears came down her face. "I have to go before they get here." Nick was going to hate her and be furious possibly even not ever trust her again.

Will nodded his head as he sprinted out the door. "Nick your faster go ahead of me. I'll meet you there." He told him as he was running. Of course Will was fast, but Nick was a vampire so he could faster than he.

"I don't know..... but if you can help us figure out what's going on, and why everything's so mixed up. You might get your family back. And you'll have your old life again.. So will Nick." She told her, although knew it would fall on deaf ears. She didn't want to be around or see Nick when he showed up. But if she was going to let her go, she'd need a reason on why. Guess she could ask her to knock her out or something before she dashed off...



Nick had taken off at the same time Will had. Hearing him say that he'd catch up, seeing as he was faster. And he needed to get there... Now. Calling back to him an 'okay' before starting to pick up speed.

"I never seen anything like that happen before in any history. The only thing that makes sense is that some how when I got turned human how pasts start to slowly switch and become opposite." Getting up slowly. "I don't have time to dash off or do anything Nick will be here and I will have to face him." She was becoming jittery again. "Raven I'm not safe to be around I can't stop killing its like I need to kill despite not wanting to"

Will was behind him he would probably arrive awhile after Nick did. He did his very best to run faster, but he couldn't and that made he crazy.
